It sounds so fun! “Casten Red, the unofficial enforcer of The Uncertain Saints MC, wasn’t necessarily trying to urge her into doing anything illegal, and he definitely wasn’t trying to get her into a fight with a group of men who were all twice her size. No, he only intended to give her the confidence to stand up for herself, just a little nudge in the right direction. How the hell was he supposed to know she’d go all Chuck Norris on them and put three of them in the hospital with concussions?”

R. Renee… it’s so intense! But in a subtle way… it just rolls out seamlessly. LOVE!!

R…I haven’t read any of the Fish Tales….yet. This crew has a way of unknowingly convincing me to read books I normally would never look at….

It’s an emotional ride DG for sure. It spans a decade and to me reads like a saga. It took me until 30% to get going, but after that I was hooked.

Fish Tales! It was oddly addictive from the start for me, but I can’t really tell you why. Fish just fascinated me. Once the drama explodes, I was beside myself with emotions, with needing to devour every single moment just to know what happens! I think it was so rich a story because it was so unique. It wasn’t feeding us overplayed devices set up to break our hearts so we would be emotional about the characters, but genuine pain and confusion and coping difficulties. I became obsessed with getting what I wanted to happen to happen, but had no earthly reason to believe that I was going to get it. These books were epic! Waiting between releases was painful! For anyone who can just read the whole thing back to back right now, there is no excuse not to just dive in!

Grace, I’m in the 2nd one now!! Loving it, especially getting to hear Daisy’s remorse. I really needed that!!

Grace July 5, 2016 at 10:41 PM

R! Oh my goodness. Here’s a super soft snuggle blanket and a box of tissues just in case.

I know exactly what you mean! She totally WTF’d me right out of my sanity, but their pain was so tangible that I wasn’t the indignant kind of angry just frustrated and hurting. I think I needed something different from each of them as the story went on. At least the 4 main characters, but even the lesser ones, only I didn’t realize it until later.

Happy misery! It is so worth it in the end, and I am not in the pain club at all. So that is really saying something. This was just THAT good!

R. Renee July 5, 2016 at 11:05 PM

Thank you Grace! I think I’m going to need it! It reminds me of Taylor Jenkins Reid the way you get a basketball in your throat and it just never goes down!! I was so angry!! But now I’m just sad! In a good *I love it when a book makes me sad then puts me back together* kind of way!
