BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!!!! LIVE LIVE LIVE!!! I know MANY in our crew LOVE this author (the author of our beloved “Kulti“) and have been waiting for this one!!!!!! *squeeeeee*!!!

➜ The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata (thank you Kim! :D ) ➜➜➜➜

Happy birthday to everyone that finally gets to celebrate their Feb. 29th birthday. I’ve always been fascinated by leap-year babies. It’s just so weird to have so many non–actual-birthdays ’cause your “day” rarely comes… but it’s here now. :D !!! I remember when I was little, the lifeguard at the pool I swam at would tell us that he was only five years old. Mind you, he looked like a full-grown adult to me, but I was thrilled that I was a couple of years older than him. *snort*!!! :P THAT was my first realization that there was a thing called “Leap Year”.

Going live at midnight?!! :D

And what a way to end off a month! A few exciting looking new releases (that one up there to the left is super-dark, plus three below from much-loved series), and a “new adult vampire” book (gah I LOVE that cover), plus some rock stars and bikers to boot! And then OMG on a few going live tomorrow. Of course, that’s not the main list, but I thought I’d highlight some that are HIGHLY anticipated. Like that one to the right. ;)

Maryse did you know there’s a novella coming out in the Asking Fit It series by Lilah Pace? It’s called Asking For More and comes out March 15 and is up for pre-order on Amazon now. Really looking forward to it since I loved the first two.

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 9:59 AM

Tessa February 29, 2016 at 3:51 PM

Ugh. Give me two or three days and it will be mine! lol This whole time, not much has caught my interest and so I spent my card money on music. *You think my book addiction is bad…* Now, Wall of Winnipeg? *sighs*

Amy February 29, 2016 at 3:53 PM

I STILL haven’t read Kulti…

*ducks under table from flying peanuts*

*peeks head out*

…but I’m thinking Wall of Winnipeg is going to be making its way to the top of my TBR list. Just a hunch. ;) Who knows, maybe that will be the final push I need to start Kulti.

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 3:56 PM

Oh. Em. Gee. 8O

LOL!!!! :P

Amy February 29, 2016 at 4:02 PM

I know, right?? *snort*

By the way, The Farm is officially creeping me out. In the middle of the day. I’m supposed to be cleaning out closets but NOPE. I’m not going in any enclosed spaces right now. :?

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 4:03 PM

Oooooh GOOD ’cause I one-clicked that one when you told me about it!!!!! I love scary!!

Grey February 29, 2016 at 4:27 PM

Cheryl February 29, 2016 at 5:21 PM

OMG you made my day Maryse, I have been impatiently waiting for The Wall of Winnipeg!!! Also,Beautiful Boss- I just love Will & Hanna. Oneclickitis is very contagious!!

Amy, you will love Kulti.

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 5:30 PM

There’s a lot of one-clickism going on today. *snort*

Thank Fabi for that one. ;)

Fabi February 29, 2016 at 5:33 PM

I’m definitely not immune to it. *one-clicking WoW*

MichelleS February 29, 2016 at 6:04 PM

Amy – you haven’t read Kulti? PEANUTS INCOMING – that one was so awesome. So dang funny and sexy. That girl could have been you. I am pretty sure I pictured the same person in my head that I picture when I see you. Sassy. Short. She calls the guy “bratwurst” and “knockwurst” cause he’s German. You have to read it just to hear that banter.

Amy February 29, 2016 at 6:06 PM

*snaps fingers* That’s right, Maryse! You “bought The Farm” last time it was mentioned…and I didn’t even get the joke until Grey started drunkenly hooting about it. :P

Cheryl, that’s what I keep hearing about Kulti. ;) And yet still I haven’t read it…

Oh yeah, we have ALL kinds of contagious clicking syndromes around here!

Amy February 29, 2016 at 6:13 PM

*covers head from MichelleS’s peanuts*

Okay, OKAY!! I’ll read it by the end of March. No, April. Give me ’til the end of April and I’ll read it. How can I not when you give her that kind of description? Heck, it was the comparison of me with Dani that finally pushed me to read the Fever series!

Tessa February 29, 2016 at 6:14 PM

Oh my gosh. Amy, seriously? You haven’t read Kulti? That book was awesome beyond awesome. The H is the biggest jerky entitled jerk and it doesn’t even start off with love hate but pure GRRR hate. Her dad! You will love her dad. I wanted to hug her dad. *throws peanut* Also, Angst! Did I mention angst? There’s tons of it! *throws bags of peanuts*

Tessa February 29, 2016 at 6:17 PM

Finished Scarred and I did like it. YA and good. He was definitely a jerk face. I just think there could have been so much more meat to the story if the big thing that happened was MORE and the author went there. Also, if leading up to that big thing at the she didn’t add a certain something, it could have really blown me away. Sadly, the pull back really changed it from phenomenal to really fun and good.

Amy February 29, 2016 at 6:35 PM

Tessa…I have a feeling this will be like when everyone, EVERYONE was telling me to read On the Island for the longest time, and when I finally did I was in a book love fog for days because y’all were right. :D

My WD friends…this is why I’m scared of the season 6 finale:

Sh!t. :?

bev February 29, 2016 at 6:48 PM

Amy, I would start with Kulti. I have read and started two others by her and didn’t work for me. I enjoyed Kulti so much I keep wanting to try her other books.

bev February 29, 2016 at 6:49 PM

Spanky Mcfarland as Sal? I hadn’t thought of that but I see it.

Anne February 29, 2016 at 8:50 PM

A new Mia Sheridan book?!? Yes please!

Also Until Its Right sounds great!

Anne February 29, 2016 at 8:53 PM

I haven’t read Kulti either *ducks from peanuts*. I want to read it soon though.

Stephanie February 29, 2016 at 9:07 PM

I LOVED Kulti. I’m 20% through Winnepeg and this guy is a capital J Jerk. But it’s starting to pick up so I must get back to it.

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 9:23 PM

In books. Only in books. :P

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 9:23 PM

Anne. COME ON ANNE!!!!!

Michelle February 29, 2016 at 9:43 PM

YES! I forgot about Winnipeg and it’s exactly what I want to read next :D

Amy, I agree that you should start with Kulti, so so good. Not much I didn’t love but you have to appreciate the slooowww burn. Oh and sidenote, I smacked my head because yeah Dree is in the Smoke and Mirrors collection with Yara duh! I pulled out Petra too to wear soon, that’s my fav from the whole collection.

bev February 29, 2016 at 9:57 PM

I need Maryse to read the new Zapata book. Then if she starts checking in with how much she loves it, I will know to read it. Like with Kulti.

Maryse February 29, 2016 at 10:00 PM

LOL bev!!! Okay that and Midnight Lily are calling me at the same time…

Annie Walsh March 1, 2016 at 12:09 AM

I also believe that Seth King’s new book Honesty is releasing today or tomorrow. Have you read any of his books Maryse? They are incredible!

Lisa March 1, 2016 at 2:31 AM

Well my one-click book diet lasted a whole week. :( Just grabbed Winnepeg. And Im eyeing off Sticks……love me some T Gephart.

Midnight Lily and Beautiful Boss were pre-ordered so they dont count. ;)

DG March 1, 2016 at 8:02 AM

Amy and Anne….KULTI, KULTI*cheering from the sideline* I love her books. Kulti is definitely a great slow burn read. Also loved Under Locke (one of my fav MC books) and Rhythm, Chord and Malykhin by Mariana Zapata. Can’t wait to read the new one! *happy dance even if it is not Friday*

Maryse March 1, 2016 at 8:59 AM

I’m starting Winnipeg today!!!! Right after the new release list goes up. :)

bev March 1, 2016 at 9:51 AM

I can’t wait to hear what you think.

Stephanie March 1, 2016 at 11:55 AM

I’m about half way through Winnipeg. It’s a little slow moving with lots of narration and little dialogue. I’m not relating to Vanessa very much and I find myself drawn to Aiden even though he’s quite the jerk. There’s something you can see that makes him the way he is even though you have no idea what it is and I just want to hug him. Vanessa not so much. Not too many of her choices and actions are something I’d do and that makes it hard for me to get behind her. Time to get back to it. SOMETHING needs to happen soon!!

Maryse March 1, 2016 at 12:44 PM

I bought The Farm. :P
