Maryse, the mother abuse one is The Truth She Knows, not Next August. And yep, your little alert caught my attention right away. I wanna read that one big time. “Mama didn’t want me. Ok, I put aside Can’t Touch This after reading the sample of Torrid Affair. Had the beginnings of a gut-twister and had to see where this was going. Now, I’m aggravated. Right now I don’t even like the wishy-washy H and again COMMUNICATION PEOPLE!!! I have an idea about what happens and can see the deception starting. Ugh, may have to go back to the rainbows and unicorns with CTT so I can sleep tonight. Amy, TA just might have your name all over it. 😉
Wouldn’t it be kind of fun if in one of these triangle books the other guy is like no. If in TA the BIL/BFs husband was all, “Yeah…I m not interested. I love these two people and have never really liked you. I think you might have cooties.”

Most (if not all) of the indie writers I know prefer the creative covers, though that isn’t saying much, I don’t know many LOL. I think it’s the small press publishing houses that push for those covers.

I think we are going to continue to see the half naked bodies. The cover states to the reader contemporary romance. Flowers state women’s lit. Most indies don’t want to risk not drawing a new customer in.
