A new steamy M/M romance to enjoy from her “Temptation” series!! P.S. Here’s the series reading order.

<— EEEEEP!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US!! :D LOOKIT WHAT’S LIVE!!!! From the sound of that blurb, this will have that heartachey, unrequited love that we crave so much from Kristen Ashley!! All that angst, and emotion, and pining, and frustration, and infuriation. YAY US!!! :D

And while this may be the last list before Christmas, it’s nicely loaded with all sorts of great-looking reading choices. Plus, there’s still time with Prime shipping to “gift” book-goodies and, well… awesome people goodies, too! P.P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere).

For those going on a road trip soon, or maybe you’ve got some projects that require both hands this weekend but still allows you to “listen”… check out the free audible trial + 2 free audiobooks deal —>

  • AND! Here’s the fun-tool again! —> Find out which of YOUR Kindle books are available as audiobooks at a BARGAIN-PRICE! <— This thing is so cool (Amazon calls it “Matchmaker“)! It’s an Amazon feature, that scans all of your Kindle books and will list all of the ones you have that are also available as an audiobook at a discounted price (not normal audiobook prices). Good morning! Someone is up really early. *fumbles around searching for coffee*

Leslie M December 19, 2017 at 6:21 AM

Morning! Not enough coffee here to wake me up.

Tons of wrapping and other “chores” today. I need to find good audiobook to keep me company.

I just finished audio for Forever My Girl. I liked it…rockstar, second chance romance with dual pov.

Nay December 19, 2017 at 6:48 AM

Good morning! Woke up to KA on my kindle, Hoping that’ll do the trick to get me out of this reading slum–IF I have time. I’m like you, Leslie; I have TONS of wrapping to do!

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 7:05 AM

I’m thinking this KA is the one for me. I’m starting it!

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 7:06 AM

Morning friends!!!

Time for my own cup of coffee. :) Peppermint Mocha yumminess, here I come!!!

Nay December 19, 2017 at 7:18 AM

Correction: I’m not in a slum–I’m in a slump! lol

D.G. December 19, 2017 at 8:00 AM

I too woke up to KA on my kindle!!! Woohoo! It is the next up for me!!! Still shopping …no wrapping as of yet…ahh the stress!

Leslie M December 19, 2017 at 8:06 AM

I wish we were all neighbors. We could drink coffee, wrap presents and read together.

Lisa Aiello December 19, 2017 at 8:12 AM

Oh Leslie – if we were all neighbors, we’d need bail money. Lots and lots of bail money…but ohhhh, the fun we’d have!!!

D.G. December 19, 2017 at 9:03 AM

Ohh, my wish too Leslie… oh the fun we would have!

Ela December 19, 2017 at 9:25 AM

Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Agreed Lisa! I bet we’d do a lot of naked running through the streets!

Ela December 19, 2017 at 9:26 AM

Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Agreed Lisa! I bet we’d do a lot of naked running through the streets!

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 10:06 AM

We’re going streaking??? GASP!!!!!! It’s gonna be cold.

*scrolls back to see where this started…*

*snort* :P

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 10:07 AM

Nay have you started the KA yet?

bev December 19, 2017 at 10:31 AM

Tasha and I would sit all nice and warm on her porch reading and pretending we don’t really know you. Acquaintances really.

Alright, I am in. I will try the Hook up. In a coffee house drinking an iced peppermint mocha might as well read a bit.

Tessa December 19, 2017 at 10:39 AM

I’m not streaking. All the stuff we could do, and we run around naked? And according to Nay we’d be in the slums? Does anyone really want to run naked while in the slums?

Heck, if we must be in the slums, can we at least do something a little more exciting? I’d want to be vigilantes. Vigilantes with clothes on, of course.

bev December 19, 2017 at 10:42 AM

Tessa…that’s hilarious.

Tessa December 19, 2017 at 10:45 AM

Oh Leslie, I’m glad to hear Forever Your Girl was good. I’ve had it for a while and still haven’t touched it for some reason.

Tessa December 19, 2017 at 11:08 AM

We should all get vigilante names. I’ll be The Bully Beater. Amy and Maryse can be the Marmy twins (Marmy twins powers, activate), Bev the Devil Shamer, and… I went blank after that.

bev December 19, 2017 at 11:16 AM

Can we be really honest?

If I saw a devil coming towards me I am running the opposite way, naked or not.

bev December 19, 2017 at 11:50 AM

Well, if your running around the streets naked you’re already in the wrong crowd.

Grey December 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM

Well obviously I’ve got magical powers…a witch or a fairy or something (or I’m a deranged lunatic…either way we will be entertained) *tosses glitter* Stick with me, girlies!

Morning all!

bev December 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM

I think the hardest bit would be agreeing on a place to live, lol.

D.G. December 19, 2017 at 12:50 PM

We could always move to FL by Maryse!!!

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 12:51 PM

Please do!!!! Plenty of houses in my neighborhood for sale!!! :D

Nay December 19, 2017 at 1:16 PM

Maryse–I read the first few pages and then I had to go to my monthly cardiologist appt. Getting ready to get started now!

Robyn December 19, 2017 at 1:24 PM

I’ll walk with you cuz I don’t really run for much and I’m going naked! LOLThat would certainly cause the end of the world. I’ll just be a kick ass Mage or something, zapping things with my electrical current!

I’m going to start KA’S book. It will be nice reading it on the plane tomorrow to the polar region. Aka, Maryland. I’m from AZ, the sunbelt, and I saw predicted temps in the teens. What the heck! I’m going to freeze. I’m not set up for those kinds of temperatures.

Nay December 19, 2017 at 1:45 PM

Maryse–have you gotten far enough to have an opinion yet??

bev December 19, 2017 at 1:46 PM

I am not a Florida type girl, as much as I love those Golden Girls.

Tessa December 19, 2017 at 2:16 PM

If I’m running naked, run. There’s crap after me. I’d need a bra to even contemplate running.

Robyn, I feel you. I saw predicted 60 and froze at the idea. *shivers* Though, if I’m moving, I want snow! I want to be able to ski!

In clothes.

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 3:09 PM

I haven’t started yet… but will be starting in a couple of hours. :D

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 3:09 PM

So basically quite a few of us are buddy-reading. :) YAY US!!!!

bev December 19, 2017 at 3:09 PM

If we all chipped in we could probably rent a one room studio apartment in Aspen. Summer and winter activities.

MichelleS December 19, 2017 at 3:42 PM

I’m not running around naked either – but I would join the bad girls and TP Bev’s house and other pranks. I would love to live in your “hood” Maryse – but the hurricanes are a bit off-putting and scare me… so…. we will all have to move to Australia or something. No one knows us there, we ca pretend to be anyone or anything.

Nay December 19, 2017 at 3:58 PM

I want to move to Australia! I say it all the time. I love the land, I love the people, I love the produce, and I love the cooking shows! lol

Maryse–I haven’t started yet either, so we’ll probably start around the same time.

I just had 8 packages delivered by UPS. This year, I think I’ll end up having about 30 packages delivered by USPS and UPS combined. Major internet Christmas shopping!

Tessa December 19, 2017 at 4:08 PM

Michelle, right? I’d take earthquakes over yearly hurricanes any day. *shudders* You can’t feel 99 percent of earthquakes.

Australia… spider… scared. 0.0 Other than that, it sounds awesome. How about Connecticut. It snows there.

bev December 19, 2017 at 4:48 PM

I am just a bit in…..and ok. I hope it picks up a bit, but only on 2nd chapter. However, I now think dinner might be bacon and eggs, lol.

Which reminds me, if R comes around I wanted to ask how she does her roasted vegetables again.

Grey December 19, 2017 at 4:51 PM

NY isn’t bad… Except for taxes… All four seasons in one week, LOL!

MichelleS December 19, 2017 at 5:04 PM

You can all move to Texas and we can go stalk Fabi!

R. Renee December 19, 2017 at 5:22 PM

Here you go bev!

Cut carrots and potatoes in uniform chunks. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic (I use jarred) and fresh rosemary (or other herb). Roast on sheet pan for 40+ minutes at 400 degrees until tender. Before serving, toss with a dash of sherry vinegar. <– the best part.

Leslie M December 19, 2017 at 5:50 PM

Yes, everyone move to Connecticut!!! I am in Massachusetts so you would all be within driving distance. ;)

bev December 19, 2017 at 6:18 PM

Thanks, R. I love vinegar and garlic and it sounds good.

R. Renee December 19, 2017 at 6:27 PM

Sherry vinegar isnt always the easiest to find, but if your store carries it, get it. It makes a huge difference.

D.G. December 19, 2017 at 6:27 PM

I do not recommend Alabama, Georgia, or any neighboring states…can we all say humidity and not enough of a defined season!

Not sure what I am reading next KA or Meghan March!!!! Decisions, decisions?!?!

Missy December 19, 2017 at 7:02 PM

I love your list! Thanks for posting! Does anyone know if the Fighting Series book 7 can be read as a stand alone? Definitely getting the KA book!

Tessa December 19, 2017 at 7:10 PM

Finished Sinning Empire. For those waiting for the series to be complete, it is! It ended wonderfully, and honestly, I just want more just to have more. Gah, it was sooooo good!

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 7:20 PM

I just ate a Chicago style hot dog (My FAVORITE kind of hot dog), and am enjoying a “light” lime beer with it (I even squirted more lime in it!!). It feels like summer! LOL!!!!!!!

Also, I’m NOW sitting down with my latest Kristen Ashley release. YAY ME!!!!! BEST TUESDAY NIGHT EVER!!!!

Robyn December 19, 2017 at 8:14 PM

I’ll go to Australia! I need warmth. It doesn’t snow there right? I only want to see snow on Christmas then I’m done.

Maryse December 19, 2017 at 9:08 PM

Hi Missy! I think they all can (I believe they’re all about different couples)… but I’ll find out for sure. :)

Cheryl December 19, 2017 at 10:09 PM

Hmmm, I want somewhere warm, but not too humid and near the water, but no running around naked.

Not sure what reading next. Just read the sample of Crash Into Us. Not sure…

bev December 19, 2017 at 10:09 PM

So, I have been reading the Hookup pretty much all day. Very stormy so good day for it.
And it’s……pleasant. *shrug*
I feel like she comes up with these interesting premises and then at the end they all end up basically the same. I mean I usually am ok with low angst but there is no tension or even really any swoon.
Just pages of people telling the heroine how great she is and how great the hero is and yet I never feel like they get to really know each other.

It is sad to say bit I think this will be my last KA for awhile.
I at least need not to be bored by the romance.

Nay December 19, 2017 at 10:19 PM

Ok, so I have a new favorite word for our bearded friends–lumbersexual!

I’m only 21 pages in, but so far, I’m enjoying what is reading like the KA of old (which I’ve sorely missed!) I hope it continues!

MichelleS December 20, 2017 at 8:30 AM

Bev – I have a rec for you!! Read Beautiful Monsters. It’s dark, has paranormal world that’s super cool, and the characters… sigh. This guy… I swear, no one has gone through what he goes through to “survive” – it’s brutal! But beautiful. Go for it.

Maryse December 20, 2017 at 8:49 AM

I AM LOVING KA’s latest you guys!!!!!!!! I’m 25% in and STILL IN!!! This is PURE her, and I was of course, totally in from the start (she’s one of the best story-starters), and since it’s only 350-something pages, I know I won’t lose my focus).

Plus, I found the perfect PERFECT Johnny Gamble online (I saw him in a recent Christmas movie that I LOVED!! He was a moody angry ghost that wanted her out of his house) Tee hee!!!–beautiful-boys-beautiful-people.jpg

Ela December 20, 2017 at 9:28 AM

Ela December 20, 2017 at 9:30 AM

Oh and don’t forget all the other peoples in TX….we can all stay with Robin…thanks Robin for the invite (well I invited us myself but no need to be rude) She has the best trail ever EVER (no I didn’t go see it when there)!

bev December 20, 2017 at 9:37 AM

MichelleS, thanks I’ll look it up.

R. Renee December 20, 2017 at 10:48 AM

Ela, you guys are always invited! Anytime! And the pool people JUST drove up to stake out the back yard! #squee

Tessa December 20, 2017 at 11:05 AM

You’re getting a pool built? If so, if I visit you, I probably would never leave the thing. Just saying. :P

R. Renee December 20, 2017 at 11:09 AM

Especially in the summer when it’s a thousand degrees. OMG you guys. This pool dude is adorbs! Why don’t I ever wear makeup? Or dye my grays? Or put on actual clothes?

bev December 20, 2017 at 11:17 AM

How pretty is this poem?

Ela December 20, 2017 at 11:20 AM

take a pic Robin and send….

Nay December 20, 2017 at 11:57 AM

Maryse–that’s exactly what I was thinking, this is PURE her! flower-printed toss pillows, ‘all that hair’, everything ‘fabulous’ KA!

bev December 20, 2017 at 12:06 PM

Is this going to be a I’m disappointed and everyone loved it type thing? I swear she did a bait and switch and I feel cheated, lol.

I figured what really bothers me about a beard on most men. On most (not all) it makes them look like they either have a weak jawline or they gained weight. I saw a pic of Tom Welling today (Smallville Superman) and that beard made him from handsome to meh. 0.0 The beard made his chin look weak, and he’s got an awesome jawline.

R. Renee December 20, 2017 at 12:50 PM

I took pics but they’re awful. It’s kind of hard to be stealthy whilst giggling. My friend Donna and I decided he’s Cory from Unbreakable. He’s got this Charlie Hunnam thing going on. Even his voice. #swoon.

bev December 20, 2017 at 1:01 PM

Not creeper pictures. Eeww.

bev December 20, 2017 at 3:54 PM

Tessa, and them some look odd without. Like Mathew Fox or Joe Mang..however you spell it. Or Tom S without the mustache.

MichelleS December 20, 2017 at 5:07 PM

For me beards are like fancy sports cars… only SOME guys should have them. When too many have them, it loses the appeal. But maybe it’s like the Rachel do or Farrah Fawcett hair. We all went there when it was in!

MichelleS December 20, 2017 at 5:09 PM

You know what’s worse than a beard? Men who part their hair in the middle. Should be illegal! Scott Baio called & wants his hair back! Not a good look on anyone.

bev December 20, 2017 at 5:44 PM

So, Jan has a great list of favorites up.

Maryse December 20, 2017 at 7:02 PM

LOL MichelleS!!!!!!!!!!! :P

Maryse December 20, 2017 at 7:02 PM

I still love the Rachel hair. It looked good then, and it still looks great when I watch reruns. Suited a TON of women wonderfully too.

Tessa December 20, 2017 at 7:57 PM

Bev, Matthew Fox actually has a weak chin. It hides it well. Joe Manganiello (I totally copied that) looks sexy both ways. He’s got a good jawline. Who’s Tom S?

Some men look good with their hair parted in the center. Though, I think it was popular in the nineties, with the overly long bangs

Rachel hair is made for people with square/ triangle faces, which is why it was so loved. It’s so hard to find a good one for that face type. She basically kept the same style, just updated it slightly to make it look modern. But the layers are still there!

bev December 20, 2017 at 9:33 PM

Tom Selleck. ;)

Tessa December 20, 2017 at 10:46 PM

Eeew! lol Sorry, my dad’s ex-wife had a thing for him, so he’s tainted in my eyes. :P Though I went to look and he looks so much better without the mustache, even if he doesn’t have an upper lip.

Tessa December 20, 2017 at 11:47 PM

Okay, Maryse! You read two of her other books, but Amy Harmon’s A Different Blue blasted me with feels. You have got to read it. At one point I cried; I’m not going to lie. It just was so good and so emotional. *sighs* So good.

Sinful Empire by Meghan March so good!!! Can’t forget to mention Buttons & Grace!!! Read it loved it!! Those Barsetti boys are something else!!! One of my fav series for 2017!!!

Nay December 21, 2017 at 9:48 AM

Jen–I just came here to post that! Actually, ALL of Leylah Attar’s books are on sale for $0.99!!

Maryse December 21, 2017 at 10:51 AM

AWESOME SALE!! I’ll post!! :D

Maryse December 21, 2017 at 11:24 AM

Tessa!! I half-read that one back in 2012 or 2013? Was it the student-teacher one? I don’t remember why I didn’t finish…

Tessa December 21, 2017 at 1:59 PM

She’s really hard to like in the beginning. However, it slowly grows and you learn more about her and you start to like her. It starts as a teacher-student, but it isn’t a romance when he is her teacher. It’s a SUPER SLOW build, but I was enthralled with each word.

Marion December 21, 2017 at 3:21 PM

I think if men want to know what most women want in a guy they should read a KA book! Her heroes love, honor, protect and cherish their women. That’s why I love all her books and the Hook Up was no different!

bev December 21, 2017 at 7:05 PM

See how everyone starts to disappear?

R, think I’ll make some potatoes &carrots tonight. Have some chicken, maybe can make it like those one baking sheet whole meal type meals.

R. Renee December 21, 2017 at 7:29 PM

bev, I’ve never tried it, but I bet you can. You might want to line it with foil and make a ridge in the middle so the juices from the chicken don’t get on the veggies (or else they won’t caramelize). You’re making me hungry!! I’m too busy to eat and the hubs ordered pizza which I’m not partaking in!

Maryse December 21, 2017 at 8:06 PM

bev… I like those. I’m a one pot/one pan sort-a-gal.

I want all the flavors and spices together… all the caramelizations, and toasty-goodness at the same time… it’s pretty. And it’s easy. AND best of all. It tastes GOOOOOOOOOD.

Casseroles, too. <— I’m a casserole/crock-pot-one-pot lover.

Kooloo December 21, 2017 at 10:14 PM

R. Renee December 21, 2017 at 10:14 PM

OMG Kooloo! I’m glad you aren’t hurt worse! That is some amazing perspective.

bev December 22, 2017 at 12:30 AM

Yes, you do not have to feel guilty if you change your perspective to stay home and heal. Take care of yourself too.
So the pharmacies are open on Christmas there?

bev December 22, 2017 at 12:32 AM

Are you all texting each other?

Ladies be careful with info on the internet.

Leslie M December 22, 2017 at 6:28 AM

Bev, you don’t have 24 hr pharmacy there? I am not in huge city and we have one.

Kooloo, I am sorry about your accident and your aunt. I do love your attitude though….I need to try to be more positive.

Tasha J December 22, 2017 at 9:05 AM

Wow, Kooloo! You have a great outlook on life. I hope you feel better soon also, what a crazy week a lot of us have had!!

bev December 22, 2017 at 10:07 AM

Um, no. No 24 hour anything, lol.
That’s why sometimes when reading about small towns and they have all these stores or × amount of people but know everybody I am like….what?
I do not know everyone though not one of those 100 people live here small towns either, lol.

Tasha J December 22, 2017 at 11:09 AM

I think Kroger is the only 24 hr store here open on Christmas. Walmart is just 15 min away. I live in a small town too, but not as small as where I grew up. That was actually a village, just 10 min away, but nothing there either. It drove me nuts having to go 10-30 minutes to get to any good places. And the cost of living there is so much more than here.

Tessa December 22, 2017 at 12:43 PM

Make sure you are okay, Kooloo. Work isn’t more important than health.

We have Denny’s and 7-11 open 24 hours. :P Most fast food places, at least their drive through. Some close at midnight, but most don’t. CVS is also 24 hours. Oh, and of course, 24-hour fitness. This city is next to one of the populous cities in the country (San Jose) so there is probably more.

Maryse December 25, 2017 at 12:52 PM

OMG Kooloo!!!!!

I missed your comment, and I would have FREAKED out in that accident. That must have been terrifying. How are you feeling now?
