*Stomp, stomp, stomp* I’m done adulting. I don’t want to adult any more today. I haven’t so much as gotten to lock my door and hide to read my kindle *errr I mean* use the bathroom today!

Maryse… The Ground Rules Undone is sitting on my kindle taunting me. Can you please do me a solid and tell my family that I need the night off? There will be no further adulting done in my house tonight. Oh, and we aren’t commenting on this list yet either. For shame… I may never get to read if I Check out the list!

Ok. Adulting is officially over for the night. Just need to be tooth fairy in a bit here. So sh*t, I guess I’m not offiicially, officially done. But I can do that WAY later. Like, when I’m done with this book later.

Maryse, The Orginal Sinners is one of the best series out there! You will not be disappointed. It meets all of our book requirements. I guarantee you will have a huge crush on Soren, Kingsley and Eleanor by the end. They come as a team!

I was just thinking about how I have tbr books organized in my kindle- I think I have too many collections. There has to be a better, more succint way to organize my tbr books.

Well, I finished Ground Rules Undone. I’m anxiously awaiting what other people’s opinions are before I post my own. Any review I give at this point will ruin the series for this who haven’t read it. Anyone finished yet?

Did I mention you need to read Jack and Jill? I am not sure if I adequately expressed how excited I was. I may have seemed under-enthused. 🙂 I am telling you….telling anyone who will listen…telling everyone…READ IT! you will not be disappointed. I think I only slept 3 hours a night each night once I started the series- I literally could not put it down. I am dying to start the finale of the Ground Rules and am part way through Hidden Bodies. Why can’t my job just be reading books?!

I really want to read Slip of the Tongue. I hope I remember to buy it when it comes out, I saw its on KU too. I’m in the mood for a high angst read.

I binge read 3 of Lauren Layne’s books this month (Blurred Lines, and 2 Oxford series books). I’ve never read anything by her before, Her books have a little bit of everything: humor, chemistry, tension and angst. Plus the books were super hot between the sheets. Her men are dirty talkers and her girls are full of sass. I’m looking forward to,starting her other series. I gave all the books a high 4 stars.

Ok I’ve finished the 1st book and …… I don’t know how I feel I don’t like the feeling I think I just want her to be with gabe and that’s that I don’t think I can even read the second book cause I really don’t think that going to happen! I think I don’t like it cause I keep trying to put myself in the situation and I just can’t do it lol this is going on ur list of I will never forgive you for this recommendation maryse lol!

Amy, I’m surprised you’re reading it with your issue. I got it, but am too nervous to try due to my issue. lol Though, this is different than the book that totally traumatized my 13-14 year old self.

I’ve been on such a reading roll this year, eventually I knew I’d hit a slump in the road. That time has come. *hangs head down* I finished the Ground Rules and Risky Business series this week and now I have no clue what I’m in the mood for next. Honestly, I don’t think its so much of a slump as it is that a particular book didn’t end well for me at all. It’s put me in a terrible mood. 🙁

JEAN – Thank you thank you thank you for posting your first line. I didn’t even know Soulless was out yet. I loved King and Tyrant and Lawless. Poor poor Bear. Totally my next read.

OK – I finished The Ground Rules Undone. After multiple times of putting the back down because it made me so angry, I finally finished. I’m not sure I have ever had a book leave me this angry before. It’s very strange. But after being so invested in the first two and for it to take the path it did in the third, very unhappy. So much to say. The worst part in the book is the husband’s reaction to her “news”. I wanted to kick him. There were FOUR people who agreed to this arrangement and they have to know that when your participate in sexual activity there is always a risk. UGH! I’m still not over his reaction.

Amy, I understand where you are coming from. Although, if you stick with it I don’t think the “double-standard” will get to you as much since this is essentially permissible, “sanitized cheating.” We don’t get too much in the way of the husband’s pov or much from her “concerns” re: his arrangement. She reminds me of Kiera from Thoughtless- her motto seems to be “love the one you’re with!” Having said that my emotions are all over the place and I have no idea how this will turn out. Jean’s comment makes me even more nervous. GAH!! Also, I have to rant about an “issue” because it is driving me crazy. This may be a spoiler for book 3. so,

MichelleS, I DO have a special spot that I’m going to fix up just for reading. 😀 I’m so excited to pick up everything I’ll need to fix up my own little reading area! I’m even going to get a new Keurig that I can keep right next to my reading chair so I don’t have to go far for my coffee and tea. ‘Cause I’m lazy like that. 😉

Broken record (yet again) but I really do love how much feedback we get from each other here on different books. I have found and read so many books from various genres that I *know* I wouldn’t have tried otherwise…you guys are the bestest ever!

That’s what I thought, Fabi…to be honest, I think this is one of the rare times when that sort of book (male POV) would work best for me! Will wonders never cease. 😉

Bev, I can’t say to delete TGR. Did you read Thoughtless? I think the two h are similar in their conflict/ feelings. If you could handle that, I think you could handle TGR. Also, I think, even though it’s hard to read and oh so frustrating, how these h reacted is honest and “real” to what someone experiencing these situations must go thru. Besides if they didn’t have these issues we wouldn’t have 3 books; it would have been resolved in 1. 😉

YES Maryse…it is BOTH of those!!! 😀 But the installed organizers in the closets and laundry room and storage rooms…I literally squealed and jumped up and down when I saw them. *snort* My realtor was laughing at me the whole time. I KNOW you can appreciate the awesomeness of those organizers. 😉

So many comments about TGR. I haven’t read the series yet but definitely on my tbr. On a lighter note not the the book was light by any means, The Deep by Skye Warren was awesome!!! From the cover, hot hot hot HELLO Phillip!!!! I love Skye Warren’s writing & have read many of her books. Not that its a spoiler or anything but I love it when you get to the part in the book where you think “oh no he didn’t” several times & we still want him that’s for myself, another book boyfriend!! Anyone else read thia book yet? I started it last night read late late late & finished this morning.
