80+ new releases today, with a few that have certainly caught my eye! I highlighted a bunch that sound pretty great, but here’s my own personal “extra-special-sounding” list (with quite a few from the bargains/reader recommendations section):
<— Black Sheep (all SORTS of dark family-drama sounding in this one!! They were in love and thought they’d be forever, until HIS father took her for his own…), Madly (She’s in a bar, spying on her mom with another man, and ropes a complete stranger into her drama), Rooke (she’s a romance-book addict and likes her quiet and “safe” single life, but this younger bad-boy throws her for a loop), Dishonorable (dark mafia romance and he steals her away to Italy as his restitution…), Juniper Smoke: Part I & II (I’ve actually just started this one, and this recommendation makes me extra-excited!!), The Last Girl (I one-clicked it, ’cause a story about an epidemic that leaves less than 1000 women left on earth has me terrified and intrigued!!), Everything We Keep (she lost her fiancé in an accident, but what she uncovers after him has her questioning everything…), Blank Space (I like the premise ’cause it’s a little different from our usual – they’re wealthy from their hunting empire!! – while still being similar to our usual, ’cause she’s a socialite with a BAD reputation, and he’s starting out his “deer stand” business, and her family gives HIM a big fat check to date her – and he’s all… OKAY!! 😀 *snort*), and Silent Child (me ‘n my vanishing child psych-thrillers. Don’t ask… I dunno. LOL! But this one sounds all sorts of traumatic and creepy)!
Don’t forget to check out yesterday’s earlybirds in case you missed ’em —> 10 Earlybird Book Releases

Juniper Smoke: Part I & II by Sadia Ash <— EPIC & DIFFERENT LOVE STORY BACK ON THE LIST ’cause Kristy found it on sale for us and HIGHLY recommends it!
“Juniper Smoke by Sadia Ash. Book 1 and 2 are on sale together right now. Just finished and whew… That. Was. Epic. Sadly book two ends in a cliffy and I’m trying to find info on when book three will be available. I figured you’d have better luck than I. Highly highly recommend these books tho. I was in sooooo deep. Also it’s set in Michigan and even has some scenes in an area not far from me. Pretty rare to have books that are set in Michigan without focusing on the bad parts of Detroit so I was very happy haha.”
Drunk In Love: Twenty Sweet and Steamy Romantic Wedding Stories <— ANTHOLOGY BUNDLE SUPER-BARGAIN!! ***100% OF DIGITAL PROFITS WILL BENEFIT ST. JUDE’S CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL***
- Tell the Truth, Shame the Devil by Melina Marchetta <— PSYCH-THRILLER ALERT that bev highly recommends and now Tasha agrees!! A teenager sets off a bomb on a bus, and disappears… “To find her, Bish must earn the trust of her friends and family, including her infamous mother, now serving a life sentence in prison. But even as he delves into the deadly bus attack that claimed five lives, the ghosts of older crimes become impossible to ignore.”
Tasha: I finished Tell the Truth, Shame the Devil. I agree with Bev, more people need to read this book!! It starts off with a bang and doesn’t let up. I didn’t want to put it down. It’s incredibly powerful and moving. I had tears, many times for the unfairness of it all. And chills a couple times, and some laughs too. I also liked following the mystery and clues to what happened. There were tons of characters, but I didn’t have any trouble following what was going on. They were very well constructed and I felt deeply for all of them. This book is definitely going on my favorites of 2017 list!
bev: Tasha! You’ve made my Saturday. Ha. Love it. Doesn’t it feel like this book is totally flying under the radar?
Maryse: *goes to Amazon to refresh memory of what Tell the Truth, Shame the Devil is about* Wait. This TOTALLY sounds like my kind of book!! :D!!!!
The Last Girl (The Dominion Trilogy Book 1) by Joe Hart <— I TOTALLY ONE-CLICKED this super-bargain!!!!! Right up my alley! An epidemic nearly makes women extinct, with only a few left, that are held captive for study… “Captivity is the only life Zoey has ever known, and escaping her heavily armed captors is no easy task, but she’s determined to leave before she is subjected to the next round of tests…a program that no other woman has ever returned from. Even if she’s successful, Zoey has no idea what she’ll encounter in the strange new world beyond the facility’s walls...”
- Bound by Steel by Connie LaFortune <— SHE HAS AN ACCIDENT & WAKES UP IN HIS CABIN ALERT!!! Nancy found us this one and I must admit, that blurb has me, too!!! 😀 Reclusive man rescues her… “She looks just like the one I’m trying to forget. Now my life has turned upside down and inside out. You see, I inadvertently revealed my true identity. Now, she can never leave. We will live in hell, until we take our last breaths, together.“
Nancy: Bound by Steel by Connie Lafortune is on sale… The blurb made me 1-click!!

As Aimee struggles to reconstruct her life, she delves deeper into James’s disappearance. What she uncovers is an ocean of secrets that make her question everything about the life they built together...”
- Elemental Mysteries Series by Elizabeth Hunter <— Kat found us this series on super-sale!!!
Kat: Absolutely love this series!
Pam: I would recommend the Elemental Mysteries by Elizabeth Hunter. They are vampire romantic. The main characters are amazing and the love stories are fantastic. Best Series Ever.
MichelleS: Elemental Mysteries (Gio Vecchio is a good Barrons type). Smart, well written… …was one the best vampire “worlds” for me. Really smart. Never has gotten the attention I think it deserves. It’s just that good.
Kat: Totally agree Michelle S. Elemental Mysteries doesn’t get the love and attention it deserves. I talked my mom into reading it after I did. She didnt really do vampires at the time but she still loves Gio. 1 of her kindle devices is named after him actually.
- Silent Child by Sarah A. Denzil <— PSYCH-THRILLER ALERT!!!! HER YOUNG SON VANISHES WITHOUT A TRACE… and comes back years later, a broken teenager. “Ten years later, Emma has finally rediscovered the joy in life. She’s married, pregnant, and in control again… … until Aiden returns. Too traumatized to speak, he raises endless questions and answers none. Oh yes, Maryse. You and Amy know me too well. Now… I need dark. Although I should be writing, I feel the need to have my mind twisted and pulled and jabbed with a stick- with a bonus side of a massive case of pretzel tummy topped off with a sundae of heart hurts. Or…a bully book! I’m really kind of craving a good jerkface bully… Suggestions 😀
Seriously Grey???? *shakes head*
Tee hee! 😆
Lots of mafia book on the list today. I’m still stalking Amazon waiting for Quarterback Sack’s release. Hate the cover, but looking forward to reading a sports romance.
Er… yeah. Yeah the cover is incredibly eye-popping. 😯 Although very professionally done, for sure. Quality is there big time. 😉
How Dark do you want it????
Sorry Ela… *Smooshy hugs* My cherubs and I had a snow day today! *lays down on the carpet in my basement making snow angels* (because it’s too dang cold to do such nonsense outside) I want dark. You know me… I can totally take it.
You asked for it Grey:
Her Master’s Courtesan (Masters #1) by Lily White
Bonus Ela! I am not breaking any buying restrictions because I already have this one! *twirls around in the dark*
Tessa?? my jerkface bully sister from another mister… do you have any bully suggestions to throw in the mix…
I made a promise I was going to write today…. so my reading will be my reward if I do what I am supposed to do. *hmph* being a good girl is so overrated.
Bully book:
Dominic (Slater Brothers #1) by L.A. Casey
Bully and Dark:
Corrupt (Devil’s Night #1) by Penelope Douglas
AND
Another Dark:
Topping from Below by Laura Reese
Maryse? How do you get your eyes to pop emoji?
😯
=
8 O (without the space between the two)
Dominic was good, but Corrupt. LOVE Corrupt.
Elite by Rachel Van Dyken, though it’s not as dark
Nero by Sarah Brianne – Totally recommend this one, though it is set in HS. NOT A CH!
LUX series by Jennifer L. Armentrout – You see this come up a lot because it’s that good, but it really is a bully book to start.
Finding a good bully book is hard. It has to emotionally go there, without being the I hate you, but now I love you romance.
How to make it to my Kindle…just put the word “reclusive” in your blurb. Just one-clicked Bound bySteel . And I am with Grey….I need a good, dark, book that makes me shudder and gasp. Silver Swan – though it promised dark and twisty, ain’t cutting it for me. I think I have Topping from Below, Her Master’s Courtesan and Corrupt on my TBR, just not purchased yet. My one click finger is feeling rather….itchy!!!
Her Master’s Courtesan is not available on Amazon?????? WTH?
Try your Corrupt sample. 😀
Lisa… it was banned. 😉
Oh, I’ve read Corrupt. It was SOOOO good! Lisa, definitely read Corrupt!!! 4.5 star read for me. Dark, twisted, pretzel tummy, yummy mind f*ck! Loved it!
I do have Dominic and Her Master’s Courtesan and Obsidian (Lux #1)
I don’t have Nero or Elite or Topping from Below.
However, with Maryse telling me a book was banned from Amazon… it’s on like Donkey Kong. Her Master’s Courtesan, it is!!
I may need all of these books while I am snowed in by the blizzard today. Someone, send me warm weather.
Obsidian right after. Ask Fabi or Amy! That book was awesome. (I liked the other series more, but it’s not a bully type.)
Here, have my weather. *poof*
*whistles* and Corrupt is on sale for 99 pennies…
See, Why Why WHY would you ban Her Master’s Courtesan and NOT Topping from Below???? I bet you anything some trolls swarmed Amazon.
We only got maybe 6 inches??? So it’s not too bad…
Grey – I am so reading Her Master’s Courtesan over your freakin shoulder since the book is banned? Sighhhhh!! And I scooped up Corrupt for sure.
And is anyone else giggling because Ela was talking about banned dark, sexy schmexy, reads…and her next comments is about only getting 6 inches? Or is just me that turns into a 12 year old boy at comments like that?
6 INCHES OF SNOW… although 6 inches is a pretty good size…NO?
*giggle* no.
One clicked Corrupt. That looks Devine.
😯
No Grey??? You like more depth in your snow??? Like the East Coast up to 18 inches??? See, me I can’t handle that much “depth” that’s just NOT right.
Where’s Amy???
Burnt Hills New York and we have 13+ inches. I am trying to control my fingers from making a very naughty comment here . . . Struggling! We are in for lots more still.
Grey – where is the nice weather you tried to poof in?
I just saw Grey on FB calculating how much wine to order…
Nope, not me. I’m in the Nor’Easter belt getting pummeled on the East Coast today. It was Tessa on the West Coast trying to send us decent weather.
We got less than 6 inches. So sad…
Cheryl, 6″ isn’t bad! *Wink wink*
Grey, sending you a shovel! We could be neighbors!
Tessa, cans you hit resend?
*Poofs more weather* Seriously, TAKE IT! We should have had snow this year. The conditions were perfect for it. But, nope. It’s gonna rain. You will get flooding conditions that will close the freeways and it’ll be just warm enough to not snow.
GRR. Stupid mother nature.
The Last Girl – mine
Anarchy Missing – finally – mine
True Colors – MINE
A Careful Heart – I just finished reading this one today! 5 big, POWERFUL stars!!!
Oh Maryse! 3/20 is the release of The Struggle by Jennifer L. Armentrout. It’s the third of Seth’s series (called Titan Novels).
*giggle*
Here we go again… 😛
*chokes* You girls are saucy today.
Has anyone started Something in the Way series by Jessica Hawkins? Book one started out ok but actually got much better. Now I have to wait until May for the next book and it had quite a cliff hanger. It has quite a blurb jolt and was probably started 3.5 on the angsty scale, but was a 4 by the end. This is why I try to wait for an entire series to be done before I buy it. No patience here.
I wish my Kindle could sort by what I haven’t read. I one-click so much I lose track! Am I missing something? I read on my Kindle papwewhite and my iPad with the Kindle app.
Grey, still looking for dark? Have you read Pennies (Dollar#1) by Pepper Winters? Book 2 out as well Dollars. Also Button& Lace by Penelope Sky is another good dark one.
Anyone know anything about Blank Space? Is it a standalone in a series?
“…although 6 inches is a pretty good size…NO?”
*pats Ela on the shoulder, sighs, and shakes head* I’m so sorry, dear.
Her Master’s Courtesan… *shudders while eye twitches*
Grey, what about The Tied Man? It was SO good, and we had a super fun BR on here a while back with that one!! You should check out Maryse’s review. 😉
6 inches= NO
OMG, The Tied Man- so very dark, disturbing and heartbreaking!!
6 inches? someone’s been short-changed
Of snow, people! get your minds out of the gutter
😉
Cheryl, right?!? I’m so glad I had the ladies here to get me through TTM and HMC. 😕
I can’t even look up there at the books yet. I’m emotionally wrung out from what I just finished and I SO wasn’t expecting that. The Parts That Followed…GAH! It was the sequel to The Parts I Remember (which made my heart absolutely ACHE) and I didn’t even know it HAD a sequel until a few days ago.
I can definitely recommend these two books but only to specific people. This story is difficult and heavy and NOT a feel-good one, but I loved it for its brutal honesty and how REAL the emotions and actions and repercussions were. If you tend to hate heroines who are selfish and keep making stupid decisions and don’t learn their lessons, and you don’t like being emotionally exhausted without the payoff of a nice perfect bow, then don’t even pick it up. Just don’t. Because you’ll hate Kelly and the direction her life goes.
But me? All I wanted was to hug her and see things turn around for her. Two steps forward, one step back…one step forward, three steps back…all with conditional (however warranted) support from friends and family and heartbreaking self-reflection. Holy moly, I am WRUNG OUT. But thoroughly “book satisfied.” 😀
Um, yeah…sure…snow.
Short changed in the snow department.
Exactly what I was talking about.
*snort*
So…who would you rec it to, Amy?
I’ve been driving all day and I’m exhausted, but I had to pop in and tell you, Amy, LP just announced a US tour for Spring! Getting tix for Austin next week. Thanks <3
Grey…I would rec it to Maryse, Jean, Tessa, YOU. 😉 And I also second what Tessa said about Obsidian (Lux series). My favorite JA is still the Covenant series, but the Lux series starts out with a hot bully and was SO much fun. 😀
That’s great, R! Hope you have a blast!!
I’m throwing in my vote for the Lux series. I still think about it years after reading it. But you have to like YA. It starts out with the kids still in high school and later in the series becomes N.A.
Grey – you want dark? Try El Diablo, by M Robinson.
I am jealous of the inches. 80 degrees here and busted out the sandals for the first time this year! Since I can’t brag about my inches, can I vent? After all of the stepbrother books, of course they had to move on to Daddy genre!! I get the May to December romances, but just don’t call them Daddy!
I’m definitely no jealous of the snow. We got 1-3 and I’ve been hibernating since. I’m ready for spring!! The plants were blooming and the grass was growing before all this, I was thinking we’d have to mow soon. Lol. I’m about finished with Behind Closed Doors…holy wow!!! Crazy, crazy story. And I’ve been waiting for the new Tiffany Snow, so may jump into that next. Woke up to some exciting news this morning too! I still haven’t read the second, but I just may have too…https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/books/2017/03/09/jojo-moyes-new-book-louisa-clark-me-before-you/98870316/
P.S.- If you also haven’t read the second, it may be slightly spoilerish, and you may not want to click the link. I dk, I thought it vague enough it didn’t bother me, but just a warning!
AMY IF 6 inches is too little snow *lmao* then what’s the perfect *depth*
Doesn’t the Buttons series still have book 3 that’s not out until May?
WOW!! Great list!! Your lists always seem to find some books I would have missed, and just have to 1-click. That is a good thing right!?!
Her Master’s Courtesan… Whoa Nelly, I need a flashlight dark! which was just what I was in the mood for. Another snow day here today.
Lisa M. I’ve read Pennies, but the others you’ve mentioned. Thanks for the recs!
Amy, The Tied Man…I think I may have read that one. If not, I’m sure I own it, it sounds familiar
Tasha, I read Behind Closed Doors, very good. I have the first couple Buttons books… But I think it’s a trilogy…
Cheryl, are you still snowed in?
MichelleS, I don’t have that one either, I will definitely add to my post book buying restriction list haha!
Fabi, Tessa, Amy… Which of the Armentrout series are better?
Rofl Grey. That is the great debate. Lux and Covenant are both outstanding. The difference is Lux is a bully alien and Covenant is a Forbidden romance demi-God. So, sci-fi vs fantasy. Amy and I pick Covenant and Fabi picks Lux. Writing and story-wise, they are equal. (If you read Covenant, FYI. Those boys are taken. Lol)
Ela…hubby. *giggle*
Oh, TBR Challenge update. I’m loving True Love Story so far.
Amy, if she reads Covenant, make sure she doesn’t steal my Seth, k?
COVENANT!!!!!!
And Aiden is mine. I only share him with Alex because she is my girl crush. 😉
Amy *gasp*
I went back to Lux, am on book 3 and I really liked the first 2 when I loved YA but this one still feels very YA but I will carry on and try to finish the series.Haven’t read Covenant.
How far in are you Tessa? You aren’t throwing your e-reader yet so that’s good.
Told Ya Grey…there’s a reason THAT book is way the heck DARK! Next I suggest Topping from Below….That’s WAY more dark and disturbing
Lol Ian is dumb. Asher needs to be punched. Sparrow needs to get over Ian. I don’t trust the guy. Dies that say where I am?
LOL no not really! I think I felt like that for most of the story!
I should clarify the above statement…the perfect depth of *ahem* snow is whatever hubby can shovel. 😛
Tessa…don’t worry. Grey can window shop our guys but NO SALE!!
Nancy…that IS a good thing. 😉
Tasha…I didn’t know about that! I liked After You, although I do think it could have been more of a novella then a full-length book. And I’ll probably end up reading the third one at *some* point, but I was actually happy with how the second one was left open ended but with an optimistic feel.
Actually. NO shopping. Book buying restriction *giggle* I have Obsidian. But none of the others so… This obsession may have to wait.
Grey, you have a library near you? Armentrout books are usually stocked in them.
She says house full of secrets, magic words right there! So I obviously totally need to catch up on this series. And, I mean, Jojo Moyes wouldn’t leave a sad ending or anything right?!
Girth, not length.., except for snow, then depth. That is all…
I just saw this on GR. So appropriate. I very often feel like “no one understands!”

Getting Harry Potter 5 at midnight after waiting years, staying up until 4am reading it, only to have to attend your nephews wedding (at 10am) the next day. (Yes, the book was in the car “just in case”).
I can’t even tell you the number of days of work I’ve missed over my working lifetime due to a good story.
No amount of logic (this book will wait for you to come back) can pull me away from “one of those”.
Fabi…that’s hilarious!!
I just tried to show it to a coworker, and she gave me an aren’t-you-adorable fake smile.
Yeah, $#%& you. My MBB friends get me.
You know, reading this book, I wonder if the author and I met. Lol The best friend’s name is Tessa and she messes up words the way I do due to my hearing. Yep. I identify with the BBC more than anyone else in this book. 🙂
Ergo. BBF not BBC. Why autocorrect? I’ve never referred to that station ever. Geesh.
And now Ergo, rather than errg? And why is Ergo always capitalized? *ponders*
What’s my hubby “shoveling”? The girth or the depth *takes out ruler to measure the snow*
Fabi! Those are awesome and oh so accurate! I too share in the missing work for a book problem or sitting in my car at work’s parking lot to get more reading and telling hubby had to do OT….
*cackles* oh girls… naughty naughty! This is our wolfpack that is for sure!
Fabi! Love the list, I have totally stayed late at work to read… and several others on that list I can easily identify with.
Tessa, I have SO many books that I have trouble rationalizing going to the library, haha. I know, isn’t that ridiculous?
R, be safe!
Anyone heard from Nay?
hahaha Ela I’ve done the after work in the car thing too.
Amy, see what I mean? “No one understands!”
Not ridiculous Grey. I too avoid the library. I have more books than they do. :-/
YES! Renee made an appearance on our GR chat group. Come on over…
lol I wouldn’t have read half the stuff I did if it weren’t for the library. I am cheap and don’t want to spend 8 dollars on a book I don’t know if I’ll like. Thus, library. Also, if I know I’m not going to read it again, why am I going to buy it? I can’t loan it to anyone.
Tessa, I love my library. Great way to supplement my reading. I have ten, I think, checked out right now. If around 10 dollars each? A hundred dollars saved right there. I can’t always afford traditional published books otherwise. Plus, the library’s collection is much more diverse than my own a great way to expand my horizons. As a child my love of reading was nurtured and fed through the public and school libraries. My mom in no way could of afforded to keep up with the amount I read.
I even used to daydream about being a librarian, lol.
Oh and books that aren’t digital yet, the older books or back catalog of an author.
Here I am! I’m really trying to get back into checking in! I’ve been watching the past couple of weeks though. Are any of the new releases over the last couple of weeks angsty must-reads that I’d love??? I need a really awesome book to get back into the swing of things before Robin and I BR Badger next week.
Btw, I’m getting heart biopsies once per week to measure my level of rejection (so they can adjust my meds if needed) and I had my 2nd one on Monday and it was R0, which is the best and means no rejection!
YAY NAY!!!! NO REJECTION. This makes me happy. What a good heart you have!! <3
So I’m liking the books that got recommended to Grey. I have Corrupt, so I may start that one. And The Parts I Remember sounds like my kind of book, so maybe that?
Ela–Unless we have a BR that we decided on after you realized you’d read Jack and Jill (am I remembering that correctly)???? I’d rather do a BR actually if there’s one we can do.
Great to “see” you up and around, Nay!
Nay, you’re off to a wonderful start. So happy for you!!!
I agree MichelleS, depth is not the right measurement.
Grey, not still snowed in. Sadly, we didn’t even have a snow delay today at school. I was so crossing my fingers for that!
Tasha- huh, I was ok with the way book 2 ended and really didn’t expect another book. I’ll probably read it though.
OMG Fabi, all of those are true. I swear people at work probably think I have irritable bowel, because I’ve been known to sneak off to the bathroom to read using my phone when I’m at a part I just can’t put down. Yep, I’ve also had to stay “late” because I’m reading. 😉
OMG! Bathroom reading–I’m with you, Cheryl! My guys know I’ve found a great book when they see the Kindle going into the bathroom with me! lol
Yes! So far, so good!
Maryse–Are you reading Juniper Smoke? That was the one that I considered until I saw a review that mentioned a ‘lack of contractions’. If you’re reading it, are you finding it bothersome or even noticeable??
Fabi, love the list! What about – When you get up from bed to read because you just can’t sleep without finding out what happens next in book. I’ve done this numerous times. In fact I did it few days ago with Rock Bottom. And…..my husband does not understand. 🙁
Amy, WE get you, no worries!!!
Nay, that’s great that your testing going well. I’m in no rush for Jack & Jill BR. I have 723 books on my TBR to keep me busy. *giggles* About the “lack of contractions” thing, I think that would make me crazy. When authors write in a weird way, it pulls me out of story.
Tessa, funny you say that author must know you….have you read/seen the dedication in Tapping the Billionare??? It’s to Leslie and it actually freaked me out. I thought someone hacked my Nook and punked me.

“Tom Fearnes shook hands with the estate agent and watched absently as she disappeared into the bustling streets of Camden Town.”
Misfits by Garrett Leigh
Such a bland first line for a book that has one of the hottest sex scenes I’ve ever read.
FLT. Wow this feels good to do again 🙂
“Some seek the limelight and some hold the light in place.” The Man I Love by Suanne Laqueur.
I started the audio on my super long drive and now I’m totally and completely hooked again (like a little fishy). I can’t believe how many things you miss the first time around. Just subtle little hints.
Hey Renee, we were supposed to have read GSH with Maryse (yup she bailed, SHE BAILED EVEN AFTER ALL HER PROMISES) we Paula and I read it at the beginning of March, it was good. I wish I didn’t read Badger but I don’t feel like reading it a second time.
I’m hearing great things about the latest Nashoda Rose book??????? Thoughts?
And yes I did read the Jack and Jill series!
I think we should all BR Rebecca this summer. I’ve been wanting to do another re-read. It’s probably been over a decade—ouch. It hurts to be able to use decades as a time reference and still refer to my adulthood. :/
I want to see if I still like it. It could be fun. That book is a mix of genres.
–Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again-
Today’s Snapchat filter… The hole in the bread. I legit LOL-ed. 😆

I love Thursdays. Especially Thursdays that mask as Mondays because I had a snow day yesterday too…

Possession by Jaimie Roberts
Very dark, which, yeah! Finally in a dark mood. This isn’t as good as I’d hoped, but it’s definitely interesting. The prologue should’ve been in sequential order. It would have hit the gut so much harder if it had been.
Ela–OK, now I remember! Re: the Nashoda Rose book–is it the Tear Asunder #4 ‘standalone’, Kept from You?? Does is matter that you and I have only read the first book in that series (unless you’ve read them but not reviewed them), like is this new one truly a standalone??
Jean–are you around? It looks like you’ve read the entire series and this new one. Will Ela and I be lost or miss/spoil anything if we’ve only read the first Tear Asunder book??
Renee, I think I read the first 2 books??? No????
Ela–if GR is correct, we’ve both read the first novella and bk #1. I read about half of book #2, but that was around the time my health started getting worse and I just about quit reading altogether, so I never finished it. But I’m fine with going on to #4 if you are. It says it’s a standalone, and we’re both familiar with the other characters by now. Want to just do it??

Uh-oh…things are gonna get rocky!! 😀
MFK
Travis, Edward, Mark Watney
Travis, Mark Watney, Edward
I don’t know Mark, but he seems nice and smart. I think Travis is awesome. Erm, not so much Edward.
Edward, Travis, Mark
Renee, You remember the characters? Because I sure as heck don’t…lmao! I’m trying to plow through the youngins’ in the Lux series (way to YA for me NOW).
Sure if you wanna then let us….
Um what are the names for? BBF???
MFK
Is Mark Watney actually Matt Damon, cause if so, that will alter my answer.
Yes, Matt plays Mark in the movie
Just had to pop in and say I just walked by a bouquet of yellow balloons. Anyone get me? I gasped. Ok back to my beer…
Yellow balloons hurt my heart!!!!
MFK for me:
Edward (of course), Mark Watney aka Matt Damon, Travis.
Yellow balloons!!! Sob
David Gandy
Whoa.
Fabi, hard core move. Poor Mark……except I bet he makes it in the end. 😉
Ok, Ela.
David Gandy, Charlie Hunnam, Hugh Jackman.
EASY! Charlie, David, Hugh.

I’m still on the fence whether this is a dnf. The cover makes me cringe and I’m turned off by the crassness of the H and I’m hoping the h finally grows a pair. Ugh and I was so looking forward to a good sports romance.
I think
Hugh, Charlie, David
You guys!!!!!!
Look what I got in the mail!!!

Awwwww!!!!! Amy! You did it! Maryse that is so cute! And I love love love your video.
Amy is just awesome!
Seriously sweet and creative, Amy.
Wait. Wait. Wait.
You thought they were going to be candy penises and you opened them on camera?? Lol.
Did you have a moment when you opened them and before you realized they were peanuts that you though, ooh they are so little and pink?
I feel like you just opened yourself up to a whole deluge of interesting packages.
bev I just thought I’d go with the flow, and if they ended up being candy penises, I’d decide on if my reaction was funny enough to post it anyway. But yes… I will admit that I second guessed myself a million times before I finally started filming and opened that sucker up.
Especially since THAT day, or the day or so before, R had admitted to helping “her friend” find candy penises online to purchase. Right around the whole Book Blog Birthday Trilogy posts, and then Amy the penis-thrower saying… “You’re getting a package!!!!”
And I thought… Oh I’m so getting candy penises. Gah! How to film that with tact? LOL!!!!!! 😛
*snort*
Those look awesome, Amy!

Somehow, candy penises and tact don’t quite fit together in the same sentence. :-/ LOL Amy is awesome and so are you Maryse.
That was great Amy- you put a lot of time and thought into that!! 🙂
Maryse you crack me up.
How to film that with tact–*snort*
You’re getting a package–LMAO
:P!!!!
*happy dancing all over the place*
REAL book peanuts!!!! 😀
Thank you to all the ladies who gave me book suggestions on GR…y’all played a part in this as well!
I can just picture you, Maryse, staring at the box and biting your nail, wondering if you should dare make a video not knowing what was in there. *snicker*
The best part? Proudly wearing Christmas jammies in March. AWESOME!!
I love it when you kind of forget about a book you’ve been anticipating, then check to see how much longer till release, and surprise! It’s out now!! Anyone remember Melody Bittersweet by Kitty French? I believe Tessa read it also. Anyway, I loved it and I know it had a cover change, possibly a title change, but book 2 is out now! 😀 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06WP33Q7X/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489757994&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=mystery+at+maplemead+castle&dpPl=1&dpID=51MQ-xaNJaL&ref=plSrch
YAY Tasha!! I’m posting it in today’s Friday Finds. 😀
That was the cutest thing ever!!!!!!! AMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay! It came! So glad! Thanks Amy for sending for all of us and spearheading! You’re the best too! Xoxo!
Uh…Maryse, I spied with my little eye. We need to talk girl! 😉
LOL!!! I haven’t read it yet, Grey. It’s KILLING me not to. But I’m waiting for a closer-to-June date, to rip into it. YAY!!!! It physically hurts to look at it like that…
Yeah!! I spied that too!
Amy!!!! So cool!!
So does anyone know who Lil Yachty is? Rumor has it I partied with him last night. Right before I went to the wrong hotel and my husband had to collect me from the nice security guard. SXSW is not for the weak…
Watcha guys spying???? Yep! Nosey 😯
Ela, I received an ARC of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and it’s killing me not to read it now.
omg R! LOLOLOLOL
Oh Maryse…just read it already so we can live vicariously through you!!! 😀
I second that! READ IT!
