P.S. What am I reading now? EASY!!! THIS: Corrupt by Penelope Douglas and it is ROCKING WORLDS!!! Dark read, psych thriller has me anxious to get right back to it and I’m all… whaaaaaat is happening?
Just look at the reactions from our own crew!
Lori: I finished Corrupt by Penelope Douglas this morning after reading half the night! I had to read straight through, I couldn’t put it down it was that good – I haven’t turned pages this fast since I can remember. She nailed it!!! I’m on a huge book high. Thanks for the impromptu buddy read Ratula!! those are the best kind!! and I loved seeing your reactions Tracie
Tracie: This book was AWESOME!!! Seriously not a dull moment and I swear I didn’t know what would happen next. I mean, anything was possible. She nailed it! I feel giddy and full of adrenaline!
Ratula: Im telling you Lori. The bestt wait everrr. She released the teaser over a year ago and I’ve been consumed since!!! She needs to keep writing in this genre!!!
Maria: YAY!! Reading it now …Lori I’m only 25% in but i feel like I’m getting whiplash! I hate that RL keeps interrupting my reading lol
Lori: Its so intense Maria!!
Kandace: just finished! Loved the way it made me feel. it was intense and I couldn’t put it down.

Allison: I’m feeling all the feels. I feel panicky. And I’m cursing a lot. The more passionate about a book I am, the more I curse. And right now I’m like a drunk dock worker.
Jean: Tessa and Allison…..Corrupt……holy crap! This is why I read! Not quite done yet, but seeing Tessa’s reaction has me wanting to leave work right now and finish it!

Thanks for the great list, Maryse! Book 6 in the Afterlife Saga is now out!!!! 😉 The Cult of the Hexad. Oh my, I have been waiting for this one 😀 I cannot get enough of Keira and Draaaaaaven 😉 *squeeee*
Just finished Corrupt by Penelope Douglas. WOW! This book is major intense. It’s different and I had a hard time reading some of it. As the big confrontation is happening, I was feeling some serious anxiety. Didn’t know how far it would go. Overall I did enjoy it and would love to read a follow up with Kai and Will.
WHAT A LIST MARYSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STILL CAN’T GET OVER LAST WEEK’S LIST! THANKS *SMOOCHES*
Ohhhh Thank you Marit! I’m adding it now!! 😀
Everlasting Light by Shey Stahl came out yesterday!!! It’s so heat breakingly beautiful!!!
Finished Tangled. It was good, but the poor book came after Corrupt. Also, I admit. If someone is seriously addicted to drugs, I might love the book, but I can’t fall for the guy. There are all these evil guys I fall for, but one does drugs, poof, non-sexy. That said, I still loved the story, though yep. Bow at the end. 🙂
This list is craaazy!! I’m on book overload again! Next up…..I’m getting my Dominic Draven with a side of Pip on….The Curse of the Hexad is finally out! Yippee!!
Maryse…I forgot to mention that Bink Cummings who wrote The MC Chronicles has a new book out today. It’s about a new MC. The H is Scottish (you know I have a thing for Scots!) and he’s a firefighter…two bangs for the buck!! It’s called Beyond Her Words (Corrupt Chaos MC).
That you Stephanie!!! I’m reading it right now (hence my radio silence). LOL!!!
YAY Ela!
My pleasure!!! 😀
Thank you Jill!
LOL Tessa!!!
I melted when he pushed his head into her hand looking for that closeness… despite how much they hated each other.
Such a vulnerable moment, and so many more of those that had my heart.
And still… he continued being an ass DESPITE his occasional private awesomeness.
But yeah… the bow. A little too tight. 😉
Yay Robyn!!! 😀 I keep hearing about this Crave the Drave guy. LOL!!!!
Oooooh and thank you for the Bink Cummings update. 😀
Thanks SO MUCH for updating Binks new book!! Such a fantastic writer and really cares about her fans! I hope you start reading her books.. WILL NOT be disappointed!! Xo
Slut by Jettie Woodruff just went LIVE! I posted it up there (the very first one in the contemporary romance releases)
Yes! That moment was so sweet. There were quite a few of those. As I said, I loved the book. I just never turn people who do drugs into BBF. 😀 I just wanted to hug him and punch him a lot.
How’s Corrupt?
WHAT A LIST, Maryse. I’m still reading Corrupt. RL been getting in the way of my reading time. After I finish I’ll take a second look at this list again. 😉
Home sick today what’s a girl to do….read Corrupt all day!!! Yipee!!! Just finished. So good!!! I was on pins n needles all day!! Holding my breath, what’s going to happen next??? Hot hot hot!!! For those of you that have finished you know what I’m talking about!!! Love Penelope Douglas’ books!!! Day book hangover now….what should I read next???
Wow, what a list!
I’m still listening to Nov 9. Around 65% I guess. I hate Fallonso much that I don’t know if I can finish the book. 🙁
*Fallon
Thirty Nights by Ani Keating came out today as well and sounds good!!
Fabi!! I just finished Tangled and trawled through my recent downloads deciding on Nov 9 as my next….but you’ve got me worried. Cant do books when I don’t like The mc’s.
PS: Maryse and Tessa I loved Tangled and had no issues with the drug use because it was framed as ‘self medication’ related to mental health issues rather than recreational. Not that I condone drug use….but the H was so messed up it wouldn’t have been genuine if he wasn’t hitting it hard. And I loved who she ended up with…the ending could have been a bit more ambiguous perhaps but otherwise loved it.
Lisa, Nov 9 put me in such a bad mood that I’ve spent the entire evening watching TV trying to shake it. I wasn’t fond of the h from the beginning and both MCs were too old for their ages. But the h just kept getting worse and worse as the book went on. I’ve never made it this far into a book and then dnf. But I’ve thought about it all evening and I think I’m just going to move on. I hate the h and nothing that could happen in the last 30-35% of the book is going to redeem her for me. So …yep, first time for everything. I’m going to dnf an expensive audio book after sticking with it for 65% of the story.
I’m finishing On Paper tonight. This one I’ve really, really liked. Then I think I’m going with a PNR or sci fi romance next.
Oh that does not bode well for me liking this book. Ive been very vocal in tbe past about my intense dislike for characters in Overruled (@##% Stanton!!) who still make me fume even though I dnf! A comet landing on and wiping out the MCs wouldnt have redeemed that book for me. (And sadly I cant make myself go back to that author even though I enjoyed her previous books). So I get where you’re coming from.
Mmmm maybe a fantasy H in a PNR is just what you need.
Think I’m gonna read something else. 🙁
Maryse….R Lee Smith also has a new one out. Land of the Beautiful Dead. Another dark erotica novel. Her heroes are definitely not what we are used to and the way the main hero is described in this one is very scary
Jodie I LOVE “scary” book heroes… thank you!!
I’ve been reading for days and I’m not even to 50% yet!!! This book is huge. (The Last Hour of Gann). I can’t stop thinking about it, though. It’s not for everyone, but if you like Sci-Fi or dystopian, and world building, it’s just amazing. Some really profound thoughts on the “fall of man” kind of thing in there too. Thank you so much for this recommendation. I would never have picked up this book if it were not on one of your lists!
Oh – and don’t let the cover fool you. It looks like it would be some cheesy alien romance, and it most definitely is NOT. Poor cover choice.
Fabi, a review I read they hated the hero in that book, lol. Um, because of who he has a relationship with and in regards to the twist.
I liked Tangle, but had a problem with that heroine. She was not very forgiving or compassionate but held others to a different standard. Plus the character change of the one, who otherwise would have good reason to be seriously pissed.
Not sure what will be next. Maybe Overruled, lol. Such mixed reviews and strong on that.
MichelleS, I remember when that book hit big last year or year before meant to read it. And then there is Corrupt. Decisions.
Bottom line with November 9 is that there was WAY too much hype surrounding it and all these great beta reviews so we all expected another Hopeless or Ugly Love but NOPE we got something way off! I didn’t hate the book and did finish it but it was just ok for me and both H and h pissed me off.
I finished Corrupt and was in a book haze for a day there. Loved it so much.
And I might have just one clicked 18 because nothing makes me weaker than an older man and a younger woman.
I hope it’s good!! Anyone else reading it?
I’m reading corrupt and it is effectively ruining my life. Just want you all to know…
I’m supposed to be writing. Nope , I’m reading… Supposed to be cleaning… Nope reading… Supposed to be eating lunch…nope you guessed it, reading. Gah, this book, these Horsemen. This girl…WTF is going to happen, she just robbed her own store, I have pretzel tummy in a major way.
Whose fault is it for making me read this book? *shifty eyes* hmm???
So many of these sound good! I added Sinful Longing, Some Sort of Crazy, Cruel & Beautiful, Something About Lorelei and My Soul to Keep to my TBR.
I’m trying to decide what to read next – Marley, November 9 or Nuts (which is on sale for $1.99).
I’m in book heaven with Beyond her Words!! It is very different from what I thought would be another book about a MC!! Love it!!!!
Also Eighteen came out today!!! Looks good!!
*blinks at Grey innocently* Huh?
Allison, yeah! Now you know why I was in a book fog.
Awwww, guuuys, I just finished On Paper and it was so good. 100% pure love story. No gimmicks, no tricks, just two people falling in love. Super sweet and beautiful.
I am in an absolute book fog over Corrupt too! I could not put the book down! Amazing!!!!!! That last line of the Epilogue had me grinning like a crazy person! Hard to start a new book now…….
Bev one thing I can say in Overruled’s favour is the character development is strong. I remember the characters perfectly even though it was a dnf when often I cant recall names and details of books months after reading them even if I remember enjoying the story. Stories do start to blend together.
*waves* I’ve been MIA a bit but get a break tonight to continue with one of my ‘must read by the end of the year’ books, Queen of Shadows. Then I’m going with the new R Lee Smith. Looks like I NEED to pick up Corrupt too!
Few freebies: Here With Me by Heidi McLaughlin, Love In Between by Sandi Lynn, Every Heart by LK Collins, Familiar Ground by Michelle Lynn. Sales: Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews is 1.99, Nuts by Alice Clayton is 1.99
Thank you Michelle!
I’m still reading Corrupt. Good stuff so far!!
And now I shall backtrack backwards through the comments. 😛
Still reading Corrupt. Damn RL messing with my reading time.
I started Born of Betrayal. Reading a Kenyon book feels like coming home after an extended trip. So good. I love the League series. It’s easily on par with the BDB.
I finished Corrupt last night and I’m right there with you all – massive book fog. Loved that book so so much – Ms Douglas did it again!! The characters, the writing, the story and character development, the ending. Everything was so on point for me!
But that leaves me with the whole what on earth do I read next – needs to be something good to live up to Corrupt! I’m thinking maybe 18 (like you Allison) or maybe Nuts.
Fabi, I love the League series too! I think Born of Betrayal might be next up on my tbr list. 😀
I am at 91% in Eighteen and am looooooving it! Another one I don’t want to end! I love the characters, the guessing that I’ve done throughout the book, the second guessing of who I thought should have ended up with whom. The hotness. Yowza.
Between this and Corrupt, what a one two punch!
I just 1-clicked 18 Allison! Is it really based on a true story?
The Unraveling You series by Jessica Sorensen is 99 cents today. 4 books bundled.
Finished Corrupt and absolutely LOVED it! It had me on the edge of my seat the WHOLE time!! Could not put it down! Went to work the next day on four hours of sleep (oops!) But sometimes sacrifices must be made. 😉 Penelope Douglas rocked it!! This is EXACTLY they type of book I was looking for and she nailed it! I’m kinda hoping for a book about Kai… I’d LOVE to get to know him some more. 😉 Like others have asked… What in the world do I read next?! That’s one of the toughest questions in book world, ESPECIALLY after an emotional and exciting book like that! 🙂
Jean, at the end JA Huss explains how it is based on her life when she was 18. She was in a relationship with a much older man, though he wasn’t her teacher. But she went through the same thing as Shannon, having extra credits but still not able to graduate HS because of the timing of when she took her classes and having a counselor who rallied to support her. She goes into much more detail about who each of the characters were based on from her life. She claims to have written it in just 2 weeks because the story was already there from her real life. Loved the book so much!
I’ve been reading the reviews on Overruled by Emma Chase. I did read it and my thoughts on it were mixed as well. That’s a really hard subject matter to write about and not make the characters look wishy-washy. Maybe it was because I loved Tangled so much, that I expected more. Plus, it’s hard to top Drew. However, the next book Sustained (after Overruled) was really awesome! Had me laughing out loud like I did while reading Tangled. Don’t let one book scratch an author for you. I’ll admit that after Overruled, I didn’t jump on Sustained right away, but I just finished the Twist Me series by Anna Zaires and was looking for something to make me giggle and took a chance. I’m so glad I did, because I was laughing out loud so hard, I was getting “the look” from my husband. FYI… That “look” originated when I was reading Tangled (Emma Chase). I loved reading Drew’s point of view so much that I read parts of it out loud to my husband (who is def an alpha type) and he was cracking up with me. I got through one part and then went back to reading to myself, and he was like… “so what happens next?” I wind up reading the rest of the book out loud to him so we could enjoy it together. It was AWESOME!! 🙂
Thanks for that info Allison! Moving it up on my list!
STARTING CORRUPT 🙂
You GUYS!!! I’m in such a wonderfully blissful state right now after finishing Rush!!!
Skipping and twirling through a beautiful field while tossing flower petals in the air and tra-la-la-ing with sunrays beaming down on me and surrounded by the sound of birds singing…THAT’S ME RIGHT NOW!!! 😀
Okay, so it’s more like stumbling through my untidy house while spritzing the air with vanilla spray, and the birds are actually crows cawing outside while eating the food I tossed out for them BUT STILL…I’m in a book love fog so who cares ’cause EVERYTHING is beautiful right now! *sighs and falls back on sofa while blinking eyes dreamily*
Hopefully I’ll have a first line for today by the end of the day…I wanna stay in this wonderful state for as long as possible so I’m going to pick from a tried-and-true read that all y’all loved. After I run errands and clean my house first, of course. 😉
I love Noah and I love Rush and I love being in a book love fog and I love all of you!!! *squeals in pillow*
Amy I cried real happy tears at the whole last part of that one. GAH SO GOOD!!!!
Yay Amy! I knew you would love it! You MUST, MUST, MUST read the short novella now…..Endless Possibility!!!!!!! You MUST!!!!!!
Forgot it was first line Thursday:
“TODAY’S WEATHER FORECAST: imminent shitstorms across the Tri-State area.” (Chase Me by Tessa Bailey)
After Corrupt, I needed something light, funny, and cute!
Amy, I may have even loved the novella more than Rush and I loved Rush as much as you did! Just sayin…..(read it, read it, read it)
Jean! I swear, you always have the best first lines!
So, you’re saying I might want to give the novella a try? 😉
Amy! wow, who is Rush by?
Jean, you are the queen of First Line Thursday!
mine:
“Where are my clothes? And what did you do with my towel?”
Born of Betrayal by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Emma Scott is the author fabi.
Amy, you will not regret reading the novella and it won’t take you long! Please?!? Do I have to beg?
Yep Fabi, that’s the author…and it is soooooo good! 😀
Hmmmm… *taps finger on chin* What have I been nagging you to read lately, Jean…
I had to read something lighter and paranormal after both Corrupt and Tangled. I couldn’t even write after that double whammy of book fog. Though, it did make for one of those awesome first lines I rarely get!
“Nutty Squirrel to Purple Pussy.”
Death Rejoices by AJ Aalto
Omg Tessa! I don’t even know what to make of that first line! Lol!
HA! yessss I loved the first line of that book Tessa! Love that whole series and need the next book asap.
Just started…”The ferryman had six more fares in the back of his van and a long way yet to drive, so he didn’t stop at town.” Land of the Beautiful Dead by R Lee Smith
Room 212 is free!
Oh yes you need ro read Rush and then the novella. Really good. But i have found all of Emma Scott’s work great
Amy so glad you loved Rush. Definately one if my top books this year…I loved it. NIah is up there with Archer for me. Sigh.
Her other books are excellent too in this series. All different couples…you don’t need to read in order or anything. Try Love Beyond Words…after you’ve read the novella ofcourse!!
@#$% autocorrect & typos!! Noah!! I meant Noah!!
First line:
‘I’m standing here naked and staring at him as he dips his hand into his wallet.’
What book Lisa?
goodness Lisa, what ARE you reading?
I think we should all try to brainstorm our own great first lines. Who know what we could come up with. 🙂
Lisa, um, book please. lol
Fabi, that could get very bad very fast. Nothing that hit my mind when you said that is something I want to type for the public. 😛
Ha Tessa! I thought the same thing…..i keep thinking “dirty” things! Lol! But it would be funny to see what everyone came up with!
Oooooh Lisa!!! That sounds… *waggles eyebrows*
Nine. Its a Jewish. She’s an escourt so it is as naughty as it sounds *waggles eyebrows*.
Actually its testing me…1st chapter too. Good ole double standards…. cos Ive read books with Him as the escourt…no problems for me…but with the h it seems seedy and a tinsy bit degrading *shrugs*
OMG AUTOCORRECT!!!! Its NEWISH dammit not Jewish.
*snort* I was like.. a jewish… what?!!!!
Lmao!
It reminds me of when I talk of polish & Ela thinks we mean Polish. Lol.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!
I read polish as “Polish” and I was all… what am I missing, here? 😛
Then I clued in,
*snort*
Ooooh! Lisa I’m the opposite. For some reason, if she’s an escort, fine. However, if he is, bleh.
Now I have an urge to buy nail polish from Poland.
Lol. Did you think you were missing whole conversations on Polish people?
Hahahaha…..
I’m pretty certain this chick is neither Jewish nor Polish…..but who knows??
I think a book that opens with a sex scene is probably going to be pretty steamy though :/
Tessa.. I don’t know what it is about a female character as the lovable hooker that doesn’t work for me.
I have all of these visions of sad sweaty fat old men as clients who want to be spanked while they suck their thumb and it just kinds spoils it. Sooooo not sexy. *winks*
Damn now I’ve got ‘Roxanne’ earworming into my brain.
Rofl That vision is soooo wrong. lol That would have made Pretty Woman more interesting if they had only added that scene. Nah, for me it has to be a good reason or a strong character. Then I can get into it. Erm, without the man being spanked. 😛
LMAO ……yup Polish/polish way different *wink wink*
OK WHO IN THE &^^%&*(^&%&^(*(&) RECOMMENDED CORRUPT???????????? HUH???? HUH::: I CAN’T EVEN TYPE DAMITT!
I HAD TO CREATE A SPOILER THREAD SO THAT I CAN RANT WITH MYSELF ON MARYSE’S BOARDS
Ooh! I know what you can read, Jean…Thicker Than Blood or the Holy Trinity books. Wait, I guess that’s not fair because they are full-length books and you want me to read a novella. Okay, I got it! Read The Bridge and I’ll read the Rush novella. Deal?
Or maybe it’s just that I’m looking for another standoff with you. 😛 Hey, at least I’m big enough to admit to that!
No kidding, Maryse! I was teary-eyed but grinning through the last bit of it. *sigh* Such a great book…
Lisa…that first line alone makes me want to read Nine. 😛
Tessa, still craving a Polish polish? ‘Cause OPI has one called Oy, Not Another Polish Joke which is a gorgeous shimmery gold, not quite a foil but not glittery either. Just thought I would throw it out there for ya. 😉
Who’s the author of this Nine “newish” book???
Tessa…te he he
https://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/22/fashion/22SkinOne.html?_r=0
The Oy, Not Another Polish Joke is pretty, though I’m not sure I can actually wear that color. It’s too yellow for my skin-tone. 🙂 (Imagine skin that can pull off strawberry blonde, though tan currently). Breathable nail polish? That’s insane if it really works.
Off to look at the rant post. And Ela…. uh, we’ll blame Maryse. Not me, even if it was me. Yep, not me.
Those Polish/Jewish comments last night were like a comedy skit! Lol!
Amy, I already read The Bridge based on your recommendation (or challenge) so the ball’s in your court! I do love our little standoffs. Heehee! You could have been done the damn novella by now!
Ha! I love when Ela starts screaming!
*waiving like a loon* hi Jean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t believe that Maryse (not Tessa, no totally not Tessa) recommended Corrupt without serious warning and waiting to BR or giving you a buddy reader??????
Wait what????????
Warning? You mean for darkness, or for a collections for buddy-readers?
I’m still reading Corrupt, my friends. First half was a little harder for me to get through… just… trudging I suppose, because I didn’t “get” it yet. And I have a hard time with teenage boys having that much power and clout. LOL! But once we hit that part where she smashes the store window… HOLY MOLY it picked up hard from there. So I’m almost done and am hoping to review it tonight.
That said, I’m back to struggling with their plan and how they are working her over. I’m all… OH HELL NO!!! LOL!
How horrible of Maryse. Tsk, tsk.
*shame-faced*
I’m sorry Ela and Tessa….
Oh yeah, Jean? Yeah?? Well…well…well…YOU could’ve read The Soul Mate by now with how long we’ve been tellin’ you to read it! You are missin’ out, my friend. And guess what…it’s still FREE if you haven’t one-clicked it yet so NO excuses for not reading it.
*crosses arms and turns away*
*giggle* I’m cuttin’ off my nose to spite my face by not reading the novella, aren’t I? 😛
You know what, Tessa…with as careful as I am about not wearing the wrong shade of foundation or the wrong colors on my eyes or lipstick shades that look awful on me, I am not careful *at all* when it comes to wearing nail polish shades that go with my skin tone. In fact, I couldn’t tell you if a color doesn’t look good on my skin tone or not because I do NOT have an eye for that. 😉
I just finished Born of Betrayal. It was so freakin’ good! Right up there with the first few of this series. So many feels. I busted out crying at one point. Talk about a second chance romance. This one is the ultimate.
My friends, if you have not read The League series, you are missing out. If you’re a fan of BDB and have not read The League, then shame on you. These can be read as stand alone, but like any series, you get the most oomph if you follow it in order because past characters make an appearance.
Ok, I’ll shut up about it now. So glad I can come here and gush. What in the world did I do before this? 😐
Fabi. I’m a little behind on the League. I still have to read Hauk’s story. I like them, but not like I adore the BDB series. That said, I think Darling’s story was my favorite so far.
Yeah, Maryse. Totally not me who had it on my Goodreads TBR since last year. Nope!
Amy… How can that not matter? You look all good then, ack, your hands are diseased! Oh, wait, nope. Just a weird nail polish color. I can’t wear orange, gray or yellow. I look sickly in those colors. My skin looks sickly with them.
The one I just finished is Fain Hauk’s story. *swoon* I loved it so much.
For me, there isn’t another series that comes as close to the BDB as this one does. The Hs are so hurt, so broken, so fierce, epically alpha. And yet, they still find that deep down honor that won’t break. And, when they meet their one true loves…*sigh*…sparks fly, flames ignite, and their world is turned upside down. Gah! Traditional PNR goodness.
Fabi, I haven’t read the League series (or even heard of it) *ducking* But I love the BDB series so I’ll definitely be checking it out!
Amy, you NEED to read the novella! What are you waiting for? And to show my loyalty, I will start the Soul Mate tomorrow. I’ve had it downloaded for a long time! You game?
I’m with you Jean…I’ve never heard of The League series and I’m a massive BDB fan even though I came to them late (I basically read one after the other and Z and John’s stories along with Blay and Quinn will always be a tiny bit special).
Thank you Fabi!!! All the best books come from Maryse or her peanut gallery’s rec’s. Checking out League series now.
And Amy put the Polish polish away and READ THE NOVELLA! (Note shouty capitals and no ‘please’!!)
Seriously Jean?!?
SQUEEEEEEE!!!!
*squeezes Jean while jumping up and down*
Of course I’m game! I’ll start the novella tomorrow…ohhhhhhh I think you’re going to LOVE The Soul Mate!!! 😀
Wait. correcting myself. NOT a BDB fan here. I like the stories, not the writing. I totally read that as a DH fan. *facepalms* That said, the next League book I have to read is Dancer, not Fain. I think Dancer is awesome, but I got a sample and the beginning slowed me down for some reason. Then, I just never got the book.
Lisa…put the polish away? Them’s fightin’ words, woman!!! 😛
But did you see?? Did ya? *points to Jean* She’s going to read a book we’ve been hounding her about for a while now, so I’m definitely reading the novella for her doing that! Speaking of The Soul Mate…have YOU read it?
Tessa!! Diseased hands?!? That was NOT nice at all!
Pshhh…whatever. I’m gonna go pour another shot of Jager and paint my nails with a lovely burnt orange foil color BECAUSE I CAN!! *pbltttt!!!!*
But if I did that, people would think I have jaundice hands! I don’t want to die of jaundice hands.
Mmmmm *mutters under breath* no I haven’t read The Soul Mate. Is it the one by Madeline Sheehan? Not sure if I’ve read any of her books to be honest.
Huh! Well there you go. It’s already on my Kindle tucked away in a folder called tbr! In my defense there are over 250 books in that folder.
I was on a huge PNR kick a while back but haven’t read anything in that genre except The Community series by Tracy Tappan in a while.
I’ll get to it Amy..promise. PS: I have vibrant coral orange polish on my fingers atm and I’m loving it.
Just finished My Soul To Keep—–grrrr major cliffhanger. So bummed, never would have picked this up. Second book doesn’t come out till March. It was good, not great. Doubt I’ll remember much by March.
