@Amy I had to put it down. I was so shocked and sad. Even after the end of bk 1 I didn’t think it was going there. And I loved book 1 characters, so have a hard time letting go. Plus so not the right time for that book for me.
Also the Rylee Adamson series by Shannon Mayer is on sale with all books 1-7 for .99 each. Book 8 Wounded releases today. It’s a great PNR series that’s highly addicting!

Just finished Night Owl and I am dying for book #2. Like, seriously, DYING! What a book and what a cliffhanger!
Well, first, let me say that Sylvia Day waited WAY TOO LONG between book releases. She needed to get on that 50 Shades band-wagon and pump them out a bit quicker. I am so over the billionaire bad boy BDSM thing – and it’s expensive! ARGH!!! I have no clue what Mr. Gideon Cross was up to in book 3. Gone. Whoosh. Alzheimer’s. Going to wait for the library copy as my own little protest to authors who do this to us.

I totally agree about the Crossfire books….it was supposed to be a trilogy, now it’s going to be 5 books? The last book was more of a novella really. Oh, and the way I see it….no WAY can either of em walk, talk, or breathe really considering that novel-sized pre-nup they signed. Hope Gideon doesn’t accidentally glance @ another woman….BAM!!! Cheryl, Urban Decay is one of my absolute favorite brands, and I LOVE my Naked palettes! I end up interchanging the colors between all three palettes and end up with so many different looks. I have to recommend the UD Eyeshadow Primer Potion, especially if you spend a decent amount of time on your eye makeup. Love your site and it’s kept me so busy w tons of reads! I have to share one that I recently finish. Black Lies by Alessandra Torre. Amazing story – unique twist that will leave you wanting to reread it again because you won’t believe what happens! It’s well written and very well thought out! Guarantee you won’t be disappointed in this stand alone.

I’m in! I finished Rule. It was pretty great. I’d say about 4 stars, but I loved the flow of it, and his intensity. Believed it… Nothing too crazy (emotion-wise/love-fog wise for me) hence the 4 star rating, but darn good!

Reading Rock Addiction – about 60% in. I pre-ordered this book and my expectations were high. However I am a bit disappointed as it up ’till now is very predictable. I hope for more surprises and something that can speed up my heart beat 🙂

Epsom salt is not like regular table salt. It’s really good in the bath to ease pain and relieve inflammation. Probably would be enjoyable with Jaeger. 😉

EPSOM salt – I said epsom salt – not Morton’s table salt!!! My friend’s dad used it when he had penile cancer and the radiation left him raw, so I am assuming it would help you and your “burning” problem!! Or just have another Jeager, that works too.

I made it to 34% with “Uncivilized”…. holy hotness you guys…where do I start? The scene when she first meets him and that display? (And I think that poor author needs a new boyfriend if 3 soft inches is freaking her out! anyone else laugh at that?)…. okay back to the story… The “hammock” scene with him close by? When he discovers the internet? Or her toys? Or the “vocabulary” and his favorite words? This is just pure lady-smut but I am loving it. I just KNEW it would be all about that “assume the position” based on THAT cover!!! Oh Lordy. Who else is reading Uncivilized? (fanning myself).

I’m also busy with Black Lies, but I must say, I had it figured out pretty early on in the book. Great story though. I just want to tell everyone that I loved Accidently on Purpose, Worthy of Redemption and Worth the Fight (L D Davis). A love triangle that had me riveted from the start! Also, Transcendence, and Surviving Raine and Bastian’s Storm ( Shay Savage) are fantastic. Cried in Transcendence… Had a few reads of this one because I didn’t want it to end 🙁
Oh yes! Another “weepy” is Playing in the Rain (Jane Harvey-Berrick). This one had me teary-eyed – and I’m not easily affected by a book! HAVE to mention Jodie Ellen Malpas’s new series: One Night (Promised)! Ughh… I cannot wait for the second one out soon. If you loved the This Man trilogy (who didn’t, honestly?), then you have to download this one and get reading quickly! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Morton, Epsom, “salt”. If it has the word salt I am not immersing an open wound in it. I’ve heard Epsom is good for muscles, rashes, etc. But have never heard of using it on a cut. And Amy, stick with wax. 🙂 bristles are not sexy hahaha If I can’t get to the salon I’ll use those home wax strips which hurt and don’t work as well but I’m also impatient if I can’t get to the salon in time.

Uncivilized is WAY fun in a totally smutty way. The central theme being “the wild man wants to learn how we have sex in the civilized world” and discovering all the delicious ways that can be achieved. Not sure there is any other plot so far! But I’m good with that. He’s bossy and described as super hot looking, so I am giving him lots of leeway. She is an anthropologist, so she chalks everything up to differences in culture and just goes with it, but also resists him because of the ethical dilemma.
I like that the author made her a freckled red-head, because he has never seen a “female” with this coloring. I am worried about how totally low my entertainment bar has fallen that THAT is the kind of crap I like in a book. No pulitzer prize winner, but really fun and hot.

As long as you “go with” the fact that he speaks perfect english (I can’t detect a hint of an accent), “picks up” on guy-speak (like, “man that’s hot”, or swear words – and properly used), stuff like that and the fact that she was completely safe bringing a “savage” home with her to her apartment to live with her, that’s used to just commanding the woman to “do him”… <--- just go with that, and it's GOOD!! AND STEAMY!!!
Oh, and Amy – with that biiiiig bag of epsom salt, you can fertilize your roses too! Double the benefit. After your “bath” dip down for a while and soak your hair. It’s also a volumizer for hair! Triple the benefit. (And it’s not salt, BTW, don’t even know why they call it that.)

I read the first one, Elite, through the Pandora box set. After Bang Bang, I’m going to finish the Elite series. The first one was sooooooooo good.

Yes, Maryse, I agree – the fact that is grammar and syntax and vocabulary skills are that high after being in the jungle for most of is life only having that priest occasionally come and bring him books and such is amazing, isn’t it? A little effort to have him talk a bit more “wild man” like would have been nice. It gets distracting when you think that every other page. Still having fun with it though. Only got to 53% (you know, life happens when you’re trying to read). So far my review would be “the cover IS the story”…. that is all….

Bev, there was almost a murder of crows in front of my house today when I saw the mess they were making out of my neighbor’s garbage and getting it all over my lawn. I’m sure it was pretty entertaining for the neighbors to see me out there freezing in my pajama bottoms and tank top (braless, no less!) and yelling at a bunch of crows while simultaneously throwing trash at them and back into the garbage cans.

When Seth leans over and gives Alex a little kiss on the forehead at the end of Half Blood… that scene where they are lying in bed next to each other just talking? Yup. I have replayed that stupid little kiss over and over like a love-sick teenager. So this is setting up some love triangle or something? Because I am now rooting for both guys (Aiden and Seth). So I want to hurry and read the next one. Has to be this weekend.
