Morning!!! :)

*gulps down cup #3 of peppermint mocha coffee*

I am desperately trying to finish the 3 books I am simultaneously reading and there are just not enough hours in the day.

Tasha J December 18, 2018 at 8:24 AM

Good morning! Thinking about going out for coffee this morning at the chocolate shop- to get a last minute gift of course. Mmmm!!
Books I’m looking forward to releasing soon- Jewel E. Ann has A Place Without You releasing January 1st, I think! And Lisa Jewell’s Watching You releases December 26 (gave me big time blurb jolt) And Sally Torn’s 99 Percent Mine releases January 29! I feel like I’m missing one.

Bev, so happy for you and your new puppy!

Maryse- thanks for letting me know how you backed up your pictures, I’m asking my brother to do that for me. Also, I sent my best of list back to the email you use to send out newsletters Bc at the time, I couldn’t find which one to send it to. I hope that worked.

Leslie M December 18, 2018 at 9:47 AM

Why do I read books that I know are going to hurt and I don’t like hurting??? Most of you are crazy Marmies that like pain. ;) But me??? Not so much.

I finished What He Doesn’t Know/What He Always Knew. It’s a marital strife/love triangle a lot of you have read. It’s a really good story and it made me cry.

Grey December 18, 2018 at 9:58 AM

Morning…*tosses caffeinated glitter* oh yes, Marmies…there is a Santa Claus and today, her name is Grey… *Giggle*

Oh, I have sooo much to do! I’m reading First Grave on the Right, makes me giggle. Right now, I just needed something light and funny…

Tasha J December 18, 2018 at 11:59 AM

My posters arrived today! I got 2 of them that Bev had posted a while back, Wintery Stars Hollow and In Omnia Paratus. They are awesome quality. Now, just need frames. :)

Amy December 18, 2018 at 1:52 PM

I found another one just released today that has achy potential all over the blurb…

IF by Randi Cooley Wilson.

*OOMPH!*

Maryse December 18, 2018 at 1:56 PM

Oh P.S. I finished Verity and yeah… whoa.

That was one of the craziest, most disturbing read at times (such incredible selfishness), but I loved it, because I had NO clue what was going on and what was happening… and the ending left me… strangely satisfied. LOL!!!!

HOLY. MOLY.

Michele G December 18, 2018 at 3:12 PM

Maryse, how long do we have to get our Favorites list to you?

bev December 18, 2018 at 3:17 PM

Tasha you got them? And like them? I’ve been tempted.

Tasha J December 18, 2018 at 3:24 PM

Yes, just today. I’m really impressed and love them! They really will work great with my wall color in my bedroom. It’s the only room I haven’t really added anything to the walls yet.

Robyn December 18, 2018 at 3:47 PM

Jean December 18, 2018 at 6:30 PM

I loved Devil in Spring (thanks to Jan for that recommendation)! You guys should try it!

Tessa December 18, 2018 at 7:07 PM

Okay, I needed something cheerful to read. So, I grabbed Well Hung by Lauren Blakely. I know it’s not Thursday, but the first line had me laughing.

Once upon a time, there was a guy, there was a girl, and some crazy sh** went down. The end.

:) I needed that.

Jan December 18, 2018 at 8:26 PM

Yes Jean! Devil In Spring is beautiful. Grab it while it’s on sale, folks. New one in series is out in Feb 2019 :D :D

Tessa, I don’t think Well Hung is my cuppa tea, but the title did make me smile.

Tessa December 18, 2018 at 11:54 PM

:) I just wanted fun and happy. That’s why I originally bought the book.

Jean December 18, 2018 at 11:54 PM

Tessa, I love that first line!

Leslie M December 19, 2018 at 6:23 AM

Tessa, next time you want a fun one, I would recommend Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter. It was funny, sexy and swoony. Perfect for a “feel good” read. :)

bev December 19, 2018 at 9:56 AM

Tasha just noticed your congratulations on my dog. Thank you, lol.
We’re still getting to know each other. I now know she is a bit if a bed hog and she snores a little .

Tasha J December 19, 2018 at 10:38 AM

Aww, she sleeps with you? That’s awesome. Has to be so much better than being stuck in a kennel all the time.

Tasha J December 19, 2018 at 10:42 AM

We visited with my brother’s recent rescue just last week. He’s still adjusting. He’s husky mix and wants to run. He literally jumped by turning his entire body sideways straight through the screen door to go out while we were there. He has to walk him on a leash outside for now bc he’s scared he’ll jump the fence. Crazy. He left him to roam the house while he worked too, and one day he came home and the dog was literally on the dining room table, all 4s, just staring him down as he walked in. Hahahaha. I’d say he has his hands fills. He was super sweet when we visited though. And smart, not just ornery :P

Tessa December 19, 2018 at 11:43 AM

OMG, Bev! That’s absolutely adorable. :) A warm cuddle puppy to sleep with. (6-year-old dogs are still puppies!)

Leslie, I’ll add it to my feel-good list. :) It does look cute.

Maryse December 19, 2018 at 1:20 PM

Tasha!!! YES HUSKIES!!! OMG we had one when I was about 7 years old, and he was the most active, crazy, excitable happy dog ever. He’d knock me over every single day, when I came home from school and lick my face.

And one morning, I walked to school, and shortly after I got there, all these kids were screeching and leaping and running – pure chaos… Why? Because MY HUSKY had broken his chain off the side of the garage and followed me to school, only to be so happy and excited to see all of the kids he could mow over.

The janitor caught him, and walked me back home and re-attached the dogs chain and everything nice and solid. Then he walked me back to school, and my parents heard all about it, shocked (but laughing hysterically).

He was a good dog, just absolutely obnoxious. :P

Maryse December 19, 2018 at 1:21 PM

bev I LOVE that she sleeps with you. My dogs sleep with me every night… we have our exact routine, and if I don’t follow it per our schedule, they jump in bed and bark at me to get in.

Maryse December 19, 2018 at 1:22 PM

PUPPY PILE!!! :D

Maryse December 19, 2018 at 1:22 PM

YAY!! Thank you Robyn!!!

Tasha J December 19, 2018 at 1:47 PM

Omg what a scene to imagine, Maryse! LOL

bev December 19, 2018 at 3:22 PM

Huskies are gorgeous but I’ve heard very head strong.

I’ll get her her own bed too but have always let my dogs sleep where they want. *shrug*
Plus they are good foot warmers.

bev December 19, 2018 at 3:23 PM

And that was a very nice janitor. Poor dog probably thought he hit the jackpot all those kids to run with him and give kisses to.

bev December 19, 2018 at 3:28 PM

MARYSE!!! LOOK AT THIS TRAILER! THIS MIGHT BE YOUR KDRAMA!

http://www.dramabeans.com/2018/12/netflixs-kingdom-brings-terrifying-zombies-and-corrupt-palace-decadence/

Lol, I felt like Ela.

Theresa silverberg December 19, 2018 at 10:23 PM

Anybody know anything about Tiffany Snow or Laura Wright? They have just dropped off. Taking a break or no longing writing?

Tessa December 19, 2018 at 10:43 PM

Go to her site. She is writing a story for everyone, Bane’s story, on there. That was her latest update as of Sept.

Tessa December 19, 2018 at 10:44 PM

That’s for Tiffany Snow… :)

Tessa December 19, 2018 at 10:47 PM

Laura Wright’s site says she’s working on a book called Warrior.

Theresa silverberg December 20, 2018 at 2:27 AM

Thanks saw those but old posts. Tiffany Snow – not like her. She just came off a great series. Bane’s story seems just fluff. Think something more with these 2, but thanks for trying to help

Maryse December 20, 2018 at 10:55 AM

Oooooh and on Netflix too?? YAY ME!!! Thank you bev!!!

MichelleS December 20, 2018 at 11:08 AM

Congrats Bev! My three sleep with me & my hubby. One big “pack”. They sleep all night. Not a peep.

I’m almost done with Heartbreak Warfare. So glad I haven’t submitted a favorites list yet, because, OMG…. it’s gonna make the list!

Amy December 20, 2018 at 11:26 AM

Dang, I need to get on top of my 2018 list… :?

bev December 20, 2018 at 3:44 PM

Tessa? Can you maybe help me out here? There is a refrain in this song that is driving me nuts because it reminds me of ……something. maybe his voice or the way he is singing it, or the music. Its korean but sure it is reminding me of an English song. It’s like an itch everytime I listen.
Or R? Grey? Cheryl? You all listen to music a lot.

MichelleS December 20, 2018 at 3:52 PM

Bev – all I hear is a Korean Eminem!

bev December 20, 2018 at 3:55 PM

LOL! Mino’s rap part? You should hear G Dragon or E dawn they are all high tone rappers. And yes reminds me a bit of Eminem. I like that sound though.
Thanks for listening though. Its driving me nuts. Like just tickling my brain.

FLT- Prologue: “There’s an unfamiliar smell in the air today.“ The Lingering by SJI Holliday
I’m nearly finished. This is the book I was so excited to come out around Halloween and bugged the author like crazy bc it wasn’t showing up on Amazon U.S. kindle right. And, I’m so glad it did and I FINALLY got around to reading it. It’s a lot different than I thought it would be. I thought it would be way spookier, but it’s not. It’s mysterious and of course there is a paranormal storyline, but it’s not overpowering. I’m loving what all is happening with the newcomers, Jack and Ali, I feel like I might know some things, could go a couple diffeeent ways, and of course I want to know what happened with the history of Rosalind house too. Really well written, first time reading this author.

Also, can you guys believe Christmas is in just 5 days?!! I mean, I’ve been preparing so long now, but all the sudden it feels off. Like, it’s not really almost Christmas. I think I lost my holiday mojo. The weather isn’t right, there hasn’t been any Christmas movie watching, I’ve eaten nearly all the cookies, I don’t know. There’s not enough lights on the houses? Something.
