That is hard Jean, especially at this time of year. I sometimes think we put too much expectation on this day, and time of year.
It can be nice for it to be a quiet time for self care and starting the new year in peace and healing.
I’ve been burning candles, listening to good music and reading some good books. And eating some rich comfort foods.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Just now finding time to get on here after such a busy, busy weekend! I’ve missed so many posts that I don’t think I’ll ever get caught up!

Jean–I’m so, so heartbroken to hear about your friends’ son! And it’s especially hard this time of year. My prayers are with you, and them, and him. **hugs**

bev, yep Harry Potter and Spiderman at the end of the week when we hit Universal…I’m going to need a vacation to recover from my vacation. Counted my steps today… I walked over 10 miles… And this was when I remembered to turn the stupid thing on LOL! and I’d already been on the move for an hour and a half. Today was Magic Kingdom day. Tomorrow Hollywood Studios.

Jean. How heartbreaking for everyone involved. Thinking of you all and sending you all strength. Just tragic.

Thanks for all your kind words ladies. I really appreciate it! Major decisions will be made tomorrow and I’m dreading the next couple days. I’m working today for a distraction but leaving early to go back to the hospital.

It is the same way I’m eating too many Christmas treats, the 1st and all those resolutions are coming up.

OMG bev, I bought so many too! I just went back to look and since December 20th, I’ve bought 14 books! I’m out of control!

Buying books on sale is a no-brainer; although I buy them anyway!!TBR out of control!!!
