But this has the potential to make me smile, and pull me out of my rut. So cheers to that friends!

OMG guys!!! The Captive series bundle by Erica Stevens is .99!! Braith the vampire is dangerous and protective and swoon-worthy and scary and just…GAH! It’s books 1 through 6 plus the prequel (which BROKE my heart and left me with a nice solid ache for, like, 3 days) but I would recommend waiting on the prequel until after book 4 to get the full effect of it. Even the author said SHE cried while writing the prequel.
Okay, I’m done gushing. 😉

She had issues with the nails bleeding. I wish I had a picture of my mom’s or sister’s hands. Their nails were insanely thick and when they broke, they would strip and bleed. However, it took a LOT to make them break. lol

So looking forward to soaking in a hot tub and reading. Woken up this morning, our first day back from vacation, with a LOUD crash from a HUGE branch from our neighbors tree falling in our yard and taking down our electrical, cable, internet and phone lines and ripping some siding off the house. Huge mess! :((
I never thought to take a picture of their nails. I don’t think anyone else did either. Yeah, I just imagined she had strong nails and rip, bleed at the quick. *shudders*

Her father was telling her he was not her father. She was so stressed while that conversation was happening, she was gripping her chair so hard, one hand started bleeding in the nails… and then she popped off two fingernails on the other hand, and they were bleeding too.

I’m addicted to Sherry vinegar. I toss it on roasted potatoes and carrots after they come out of the oven and I use it in potato salad (sprinkle it on the hot potatoes then let them cool) YUMM!

I’m at 92%!!! Trying to finish now that the boss left for the day! Lol! I have no idea how it will end!
Power back on and tree debris cleaned up. Luckily the tree was on “township” property along the road, so the township came out and cleaned it up. Now just have to get the siding put back on the house.
Just finishing Neighbor Dearest. It was a good read, not much angst, but for the most part it kept me interested.
Now not sure what’s next.
