Good morning and Happy Early Bird Release Day Monday! There’s a new bully-book out (that one there to the left). 😉 Also quite a few others below that I couldn’t help but highlight. Lots of great early birds today. But first…
THREE THINGS:
1.) I watched The Possession of Hannah Grace this weekend. It was GOOOOD & pretty scary. There are a few scenes that still give me the heebie-jeebies when I think back on them.
2.) I made my very first Corned Beef & Cabbage in the crock pot this weekend. With a bottle of Guinness beer in it, veggies, and everything. IT. WAS. FANTASTIC!!!!! Hardest thing to do? Peeling my carrots. *snort* Oh how I love my crockpot. Throw everything in, in the morning, and by evening, a big hearty meal, people raving about how incredibly delicious it is and going back for seconds. And it, yet again, being one of the easiest meals I’ve ever made. Happiness!!
3.) I’m still sick. Functional sick, mind you… which is much better than a week or so ago, when I stayed in bed for three days in a row (literally!!). But OMG this is the longest lasting, most annoying cold (or whatever it is) that I’ve ever had. I’ll feel better and think I’m finally kicking this thing, and then it powers up again. If the zombie apocalypse comes, I’m hoping (as vicious as this one was) that this was the early stages of the”originating virus” that I’m now immune to, and won’t become a Zombie once the virus mutates into that mode. *snort* I know I know… I read too much. 😉 Speaking of which…

Maryse, I don’t know if your cold consists of a bad chest cough but I would caution you that I’ve had two good friends who thought they had bad colds/flu this year and both ended up having pneumonia. It sounds like you are on the mend…but just keep that in mind. Take care of yourself. Hugs!
Just letting everyone know I’m feeling MUCH better. This is my very first day in 2-3 weeks where I actually feel like myself again. 🙂

1. I honestly don’t like corned beef and cooked cabbage. 🙁 My dad would insist everyone eat it on St Patty’s since we’re Irish, and I never liked it. *shrugs*
2. I need another hair cut. The last one was in early October, and it’s grown past my bra line again. It was a bit below shoulder length when I had it cut.
3. I started to watch The Order on Netflix. I got to the third episode and it started to get too dumb. I think it might be the third episode is just dumb, so I’ll finish it and try fourth and see if it was an episode issue.
Tessa thanks for the updates on The Order. I was contemplating starting that one…
Oh! And snagged Broken Wings. 🙂 Maybe bullies will become the trope of the year. A girl can hope.
Goooooooooood MORNING LADIES!!! I’m off today and then it’s back to it, but at least this week should be less than 50 hours…probably 48 or 49 but hey, it’s still less than 50! 😀

Three things:
1. Ulta is having it’s 21-day sales! YAY!!!! Love getting 50% off so I can buy double the amount, LOL!
2. I made bangers and mash for St. Patrick’s day along with dijon sautéed onions and Mexican leprechaun margaritas. Gluttony was my major sin yesterday.
3. Biotin is helping my hair grow back, but now I have a bunch of these short strands sticking up all over, and those b!tches won’t be tamed. I feel like a hedgehog right now.

1. I’m still wishy washy every which way with every decision I make. It’s making me feel bonkers. I’ve decided on a navy polo. Ooooor a light blue polo. Or button up. GAH! I’m killing brain cells over matching sunglasses for the boys too. Black aviators (or dark blue) or grey with light blue shades. Cheryl, I found the perfect pinstripe shirt w/your suggestion. Well, it looks perfect online anyway and I saved it as a favorite bc I like it so much.
2. I can’t decide between brown and black mascara (or brownish/black!) even though I already bought black. See? I swear something’s up with me. I can’t focus on anything but driving myself crazy.
3. Our local store has a closing sale and I got some Clinique redness reducing face lotion/wash on sale! My face is so incredibly mad at me for the makeup I’ve been using everyday and I hope this works. I think I’ll try using my bare minerals foundation again too, once my angry face calms down.
I finally made an apt. with the dermatologist to access the issue, though I’ve already self diagnosed myself. It’s months away though.
Tasha J… let me clear one thing up for you. Always black mascara. In fact, the BLACKEST BLACK. 😉
P.S. I AM tempted to get the Dior Show Mascara in burgundy. Supposedly that looks extremely black but when the light hits it, it becomes so pretty… so that would be my splurge.
Or… was it Dior’s blue mascara that did that (super-black then… pretty in the light)? Hrmm… maybe I’ll get both!!

Oh my goodness, Tasha…no brown mascara. You want your lashes to stand out. Eye makeup without black lashes is like cake without frosting.
YES to burgundy mascara. It’s gorgeous! Black lashes with a hint of color, and I’m partial to burgundy and wine colors on the eyes anyways. The burgundy mascara works beautifully with neutral/light taupe eyeshadows.

Amy I am SO with you. I’m ALL about the deep burgundys and plums and feather light peach touches and cream colors right now.

*facepalms* I realized that I grabbed that book and didn’t even look at the authors. That makes it doubly awesome. I absolutely adore Jaymin Eve and Tate James. Both have some of the best PNR, and though Tate James has only done RH, this was in the description:

1. Did an accidental celebrity spotting thing yesterday. Sir Bob Geldof is in Australia at the moment, and I drove right past him on my way to choir practice last night. He was sitting on a park bench behind the venue where he was going to speak last night, just checkin’ his phone. But OMG it was him! I NEVER see celebrities.
2, Last night at choir we were practicing some of the fun songs from Calamity Jane. Just Blew In From the Windy City, Windy City is mighty pretty, but it ain’t got what we got, no siree….. Eek. Now that’s gonna be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
3. I’m loving my KU subscription. It’s saved me lots of money in my super-cheap 3 month sub. It will run out soon, but I think I’ll keep it on, for a while at least.
Fine. No brown. 😛 Honestly, I had no idea it was a bad thing! Lol. I’ve never even seen burgundy mascara. I will google it.
Tessa, I watched some I’ve those episodes from The Others, definitely odd. I couldn’t tell how much I liked it. I may go back someday and watch more. I’m trying The Imortals now.
Happy dance! Sin & Salvation (Demigods of San Francisco Book 3) comes out tomorrow! I’m really loving this series and it’s on KU! I am definitely a new fan of K.F. Breene!!! Oh and I need to check out this burgundy mascara too!

On the burgundy mascara…just my little opinion, but the best ones look mostly black with just a hint of burgundy. Not the kind that makes people stare like, “huh?” but the kind that is subtle enough that it makes people do a double take and go “whoooooa!” Ya know?
Well I was looking at the cover for RUTHLESS and it just cracks me up. Seen a few like this where a guy is looking into his pants? Is my ding dong still there? Book sounds good though.
