THEY MET AND HAD A ONE NIGHT STAND AT A WEDDING... “...The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number. I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn’t dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home. Morning! Now we have snow and I’m debating working from home or going into the office!

Maryse January 15, 2018 at 7:56 AM

Ooooh well if it’s an acceptable option, work from home sounds fun!! :) Er… I mean… productive!

Nay January 15, 2018 at 8:04 AM

I say work from home!

Good morning! Day two of every muscle in my body being so sore I can barely move, but I’m just thankful I didn’t break anything when I fell on the ice Saturday!

More snow for us tonight!

Maryse January 15, 2018 at 8:30 AM

OH NO NAY!!! But yay that you’re okay… now I need to backtrack for this story.

*gentle hug*

Tasha J January 15, 2018 at 9:00 AM

Boo! It’s snowing now and everything that was a little clear yesterday will be a mess today. I have to leave soon and I don’t wanna!! I’m so scared to drive on crappy roads, I generally avoid it at all costs.

Leslie M January 15, 2018 at 9:13 AM

I loathe snow and driving on it is major anxiety for me with my sled of a car. I totally give all you “no snow climate” peeps the stink eye all winter. ;)

See, not only is it dangerous to drive on, its dangerous to walk on per Nay’s poor bruised butt.

I need to go SUV shopping with Cheryl.

bev January 15, 2018 at 9:34 AM

I give you all who get snow every year and hate it the stink eye, lol.

Nay January 15, 2018 at 10:19 AM

I have 2 doctor’s appointments this week and I’m rescheduling both of them. We get too much ice on the roads around here and I’m not taking a chance on it.

Leslie M January 15, 2018 at 10:40 AM

Crabby snow rant over, let’s talk books! *grins*

Lots of goodies up there. I def want to read Sex, not Love. Not sure about Man Card, but it reminded me of Man Hands #1 which I need to click. Scoring Mr. Romeo, click! Ooh, and the first one from that series with hot man in swimsuit on cover. Clickety, click. Cake at Midnight, CLICK! Scoring with the Wrong Twin, covergasm! Phew, my clicky finger got a workout. ;)

Leslie M January 15, 2018 at 10:45 AM

Nay, I am with you. I got stuck not being able to get up my street a few years ago (was stranded in my pj’s for several hours after bringing my son to school) so I avoid it at all costs. I have stupid, cheesey, compact sedan and hubs has nice, sturdy Jeep Wrangler, so he doesnt get it when I freak that they barely plow our dead end street.

Tasha J January 15, 2018 at 11:38 AM

The Skeletons of Scarborough House by Kitty French is .99! I love this series, there are only 2 books out so far.

Tasha J January 15, 2018 at 11:45 AM

I made it, the streets weren’t too terrible. Not great either, but I’m home and warm! I can’t wait for school to be back on tomorrow, I swear these kids cooped in this house together all the time will be the death of me. I’m looking into preschool registration today. Organized and cleaned a lot of the upstairs yesterday. I’m on a roll! Except, not with my reading. I’m hoping to rectify that as soon as life settles down a little. Hopefully in the next few days.

D.G. January 15, 2018 at 12:11 PM

Happy Monday my bookies!!! As in you read books bookies!!!! LOL Fun Monday when off for the holiday…but ladies, seriously. I am just laughing my tail off as I read about several having snow and my alert pops up to say “more on forecast for snow on Tues-Wed” which is a local forecast alert! ROFL!!!! I mean seriously…snow here is about as rare as a unicorn. Not happening so I really wish they wouldn’t tease us!

Anywho…lots of lovelies listed above with ONE special one live tomorrow R!!!!!!! So excited for you and can’t wait to read it!!!!

R. Renee January 15, 2018 at 12:20 PM

Thank you DG!! My nerves feel fine, but my stomach is doing Olympic sized somersaults. I think chocolate may be the only cure.

bev January 15, 2018 at 12:52 PM

Tasha I downloaded the first ep of the Marvelous show. Though not sure when I will watch it.
And though I would probably have watched it because of Amy Sherman Palladino I still think you may owe me one. ;)
If I like it and watch it then when your up watching shows with Jasper you may have to watch a kdrama with me.

bev January 15, 2018 at 12:53 PM

I signed up for a newsletter and got a short novella from Ellen O’Connell. A short well written western romance may just be what I need today.

Tasha J January 15, 2018 at 12:58 PM

Lol, it’s very different from Gillmore Girls. Lots of swearing, some nudity. I will watch a kdrama if you like it. Isn’t it subtitles? I watched the skits that you linked to YouTube a little while ago.

Nay January 15, 2018 at 1:03 PM

Oh yeah, Robin! Tomorrow’s the day!!!

Squee!!!

D.G. January 15, 2018 at 1:19 PM

R, chocolate works wonders….always! *tosses R a big ole bag of various chocolates*

Lisa Aiello January 15, 2018 at 1:44 PM

Robin – tomorrow is your day!! From seeing how much love you’ve already gotten (and knowing how awesome your writing, the story, and Frankie and Darian are), you’ve got this one in the bag, Grrrrrrl!!! I hope you do realize that this isn’t just your Mom having to saying you’re pretty…you knocked this one out of the park!!! Your book deserves all the love it’s getting and will continue to get! Now when is book 2 out?

R. Renee January 15, 2018 at 1:50 PM

Thank you!! The love has been truly overwhelming! It seems to have taken on a life of it’s own. Around the house we’re calling it the little engine that could LOL. And I had a totally epiphany last night about book two so I cannot wait to get back to it!

MichelleS January 15, 2018 at 2:30 PM

Sex, not Love sounds super fun. I love a good meddling-mom character!

Grey January 15, 2018 at 5:03 PM

*tosses Godiva to R.* Girl, if that’s not the ultimate test of friendship here… I’m giving you the good stuff… LOL! *huggles my friend R.* You’ve got this, darling! It’s going to be a fabulous release day!!!

MichelleS January 15, 2018 at 6:41 PM

I just started Drive. I’m totally confused already. Too many guys! I’m going to keep on keeping on though!

Leslie M January 15, 2018 at 7:43 PM

Michelle, EVERYONE but me loved that one. It will probably end up being one of your all time faves! Hee hee

Cheryl January 15, 2018 at 9:28 PM

Leslie, hop in I’ll take you for a ride; finally got a new suv today. Marathon time at the dealership. Think we set a record. Was bittersweet trading in our minivan. So many memories with the kids. ;)

Calling for more snow here, so we’ll see how the AWD performs.

R. can’t wait for tomorrow. So excited for you!!

R. Renee January 15, 2018 at 9:33 PM

Thank you Cheryl!

So I’m just sitting here twiddling my thumbs, waiting for midnight! I was swamped the other night and missed 3 things, so I’ll do it now.

1. One of my UK friends did a book countdown on my FB group when it went live there tonight and made me cry.

2. I’m drinking equal parts Pepto and pink champagne.

3. It JUST occurred to my husband that my book releases tonight.

bev January 15, 2018 at 9:48 PM

I suggest drinking pink champagne with Cary Grant.

I was all set to sit down and read. …instead I’m puttering around listening to Delta Dawn.
*shrugs*

R. Renee January 15, 2018 at 10:22 PM

LOL right now I’m drinking it with Led Zeppelin! The hubs gave up on me and went to the couch. Lame. WTH? I can’t go to be tonight!

R. Renee January 15, 2018 at 11:36 PM

Staying up til midnight is harder than I thought! Anybody still awake?

bev January 16, 2018 at 12:20 AM

Yes. And…..

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Melinda January 16, 2018 at 4:43 AM

Yes, early evening here.

Congratulations Robin.

I read Leslie’s recommendation and it was awesome so do yourself a favour and read “ Behind the Bars (music street series)”by Brittany Cherry.

But it might make you cry. Right Leslie?

And it’s a bully book, but the writing is soooo good. A very emotional read.
I LOVED IT. 5 whooping big stars.
.
And it’s HOT here. Tomorrow 100 then 104 and the day after. So from one extreme to the other.

D.G. January 16, 2018 at 6:39 AM

Woke up to something exciting on my kindle!!!! Happy Release Day R!!!!! Can’t wait to start reading it!!!

D.G. January 16, 2018 at 6:40 AM

Bully Book?!?! *ears perk up* catnip, catnip, catnip…..

Lisa Aiello January 16, 2018 at 8:05 AM

Melinda…100 degrees? You have so many degrees, why not share some with those of us who are at -30? Schools are closed again today due to the temperature. Last week they closed one day because the forecasters predicted a pretty heavy coating of ice followed by snow and then below freezing temps…only to have a very thin, almost non-existent coating of ice followed by just a trace of snow. Ohhh, I want to be a weather forecaster when I grow up!!

Jean January 16, 2018 at 8:54 AM

Congrats Robin! Your book appeared on my Kindle today (yes, i bought it even though you gave me an ARC)! Best to you!

Jean January 16, 2018 at 8:58 AM

Oh and guys, that book my friend begged me to read, Mister McHottie, is so freaking funny! Hysterical! These two hate each other and the pranks? They’re great! And it has glitter bombs galore so there you go!

Melinda January 16, 2018 at 8:03 PM

Lisa, we need to swap, you can give me some degrees and I can give you some degrees.

Congrats Robin, I’ve just bought the book too. I’m really looking forward to reading it.

Cheryl January 16, 2018 at 9:26 PM

Jean, I read Mister McHottie based on your rec. It was hysterical! Loved it.

R. CONGRATULATIONS!!! BOUGHT MY BOOK!!

Jean January 16, 2018 at 11:47 PM

Yay Cheryl! I think some of the girls here would like it!

Robin, hope you had a great release day!
