Good morning and happy Monday!!
It’s a small earlybird list today, but I will be updating it if more books go live.
And if anyone missed it this weekend, my latest review is up (and I loved this book!!) ➔ Book Review – Transcend by Jewel E. Ann
LOOK WHAT JUST WENT LIVE !
Come As You Are by Lauren Blakely <— LAUREN BLAKELY’S LATEST IS LIVE!!! Oh oh… “my mystery man is the very person who stands between me and my dream job…” “...He’s charming, brilliant, and the best night I’ve ever had, but right now I want to stab fate in the eyeballs. I’ve had one goal I’ve been working toward, and lo and behold, my mystery man is the very person who stands between me and my dream job. A job I desperately need since my hard-knock life has nothing in common with his star-kissed one. But it’s time to put that fairytale night behind me, and focus on learning what makes him tick. Too bad it turns out his quirks are my quirks, and his love affair with New York matches mine. And as we spend our days together, I discover something else that feels like a cruel twist of fate — I’m falling for this modern-day prince charming, and that’s not an ending I can write to our story.”
- Just One Taste by Julia Bright <— HE HAS BAD NEWS… “...Unsure how to get her attention, he becomes a customer, stopping by every day. His attempts to ask her out are unsuccessful until he learns it’s her birthday. Jen isn’t sure if Brent has asked her on a real date or asked her to serve cake at his party. When they finally do come together, it’s fireworks. But Brent has to deliver devastating news about Jen’s business...”
Badd Boy (The Badd Brothers Book 8) by Jasinda Wilder <— JASINDA WILDER’S LATEST IS LIVE!! SHE’S THE MOST COVETED HOLLYWOOD SEX SYMBOL… and she just wants to get away. So she escapes to Alaska… “...Instead of a peaceful vacation, however, what I find in Ketchikan is trouble. The kind of trouble that’s six-plus feet of nerdy hotness I can’t resist. I mean, who could? He’s a genius with no idea how attractive he is, an enigma of contradictions: awkward yet confident, fascinating and flirtatious, yet aloof and evasive of physical touch. He’s utterly and deliciously sexy in every way—and oh, so innocent…“
- Everwylde (The Kindred Book 2) by Donna Grant
- A Deadly Whisper (Watchers Book 1) by Stacey Kennedy <— PARANORMAL… “…Knox, the Seeker, has waited two hundred years for his Watcher and now he’s found her. Paxtyn, however, is unwilling to join him. The more he tries to prove himself, the more she pushes him away…”
- Too Hard to Resist (Wherever You Go) by Robin Bielman <— HER BOSS... “...when I land a temporary gig with a worthwhile and exemplary startup, I’m determined to make it permanent. That my boss is the gorgeous, clever Elliot Sax is nothing I can’t handle. We may steal glances at each other and straddle the line of playing it safe, but our partnership is too important for complications. Not to mention workplace hookups are against the rules...”
Daisy (Archer’s Creek Book 2) by Gemma Weir <— THE BROKEN BOY THAT BROUGHT HER BACK TO LIFE... “…Such a silly name for a beautiful boy. Daisy is the saviour I crave and the safety I haven’t felt in years. My world is spinning out of control but he’s the salvation that can keep me alive — if I’ll let him. Two random meetings, nine emails, four days and a broken boy that brought me back to life.”

Happy Monday! I can’t believe we have snow on the ground. 🙁 I feel bad for Boston Marathon runners today. Ugh!
So, what is everyone reading besides Transcend/Epoch?
GAH!!! SNOW????
We had a huge thunderstorm yesterday with a tornado watch, and now today it’s nice and cool and brisk (but still gorgeous out).
As much as I hate snow, tornadoes scare the cucka out of me.
Missy Johnsons, Too Much Info, went live early.
I’m in rainy Maryland today! It’s nice to see a different weather pattern than sun and heat!
Good morning to my favs! I am in between books now…what to read?!??
Like Maryse, after a storm system came through over the weekend it is nice and cool today but the heat will be back by midweek!
Happy Monday! We are having major rain storms here today….. would have been good to stay in bed!
I’m reading The Hot Shot (book 4 in The Game Plan series by Kristen Callihan) and really loving it! The whole series is great!
Rainy here, but I love the rain. 😀
Still hungover from Transcend and Epoch. *dreamy sigh* Such a beautifully unique story.
Amy, it took me while to get over that duet! I like the rain too…. when I’m home, on my couch, with a book in my hand!
Have a great day everyone!
Penelope Douglas’s Birthday Girl is Live. I’m 35% in and loving it!
Shelly!! I’m only seeing the paperback version… but no Kindle yet? Do you have the link?
Hmmm…I can’t remember if I read and/or liked The Game Plan series.
*runs off to check Goodreads*
I loved them Leslie and I’m just getting around to book 4 which I’ve had for a while. Transcend/Epoch hangover had me turning to this which i knew i could depend on!
Jean!! I’m halfway through Epoch, and what I love about Griffin (he’s my favorite even though he BURNS ME UP!!!!) is that when he’s being moody, or mad, or jealous, he’s SUCH A JERK (even if he has the right to be) and just… so intense! But SO believable.
I can see him vividly, especially when he’s being dismissive. Especially when he’s about to have a jealous fit.
I swear he’s real… *swoon* and… also… *throws my Kindle at him*
Yes, yes, yes Maryse! I love him!!!!!
P.S. The picture in the pocket is STRESSING me out. STRESSING. I’m so nervous.
You should be……
Oh Maryse, just you wait. 😉 Check out my post from yesterday on the other page if you want an idea of the feels coming your way…
I didn’t think I could adore Nate and Griffin more after Transcend, but Epoch took both of them to a new level. They. Are. Amazing. And human and REAL.
Birthday Girl is live??? Running to Amazon right now…..
I only see it in paperback….Gimme Kindle…now damnit!!!
I couldn’t find Birthday Girl!
I’ve spend the week getting lost in a really good series. The series is A Michell Sisters Series by Samantha Christy. They are not fluffy books. They have a lot of romance but they all have to work for it. I love how complex all the sisters’ stories are. The first book is called Purple Orchard. The second book really hit me hard emotionally. I just started the third book and I can’t wait to see how last sister’s story goes.
Kandace!!!! I’ve been stalking that series ’cause it kind of looks a bit darker.. I heard good things and now you’ve thrilled me!!
Maryse! I felt the same way about Griffin. *bites nails*
Birthday Girl will be live very soon. It has been submit to the ‘zon and it is just a waiting game now.
Thanks Grey!
*waves hands and gives a pointed stare* I call dibs on Griffin…just sayin.
Ummmm……no D.G….. just no! Lol
Eeeep! I wanna ask why Jean is saying NO and sort of chuckling… but I’m afraid it would be a spoiler and I have a feeling I’m going to find out. Eeeeeeeeeep!!!!!
Maryse, I’m saying NO because Griffin is MINE, MINE, MINE!!!!!
Now…Birthday Girl is live 😉
Transcend – swooned over Griffin
Epoch – tummy in knots over Griffin, even if I could see where he was coming from 😕
Overall – LOVED HIM
Exactly how I felt about Griffin. I understood where he was coming from, but he made me so mad acting like a big baby!!!
But I thought his behavior was totally justified!
For those of you on the West Coast, there is finally an author’s event over here!! The San Francisco Author Event on 8/25/18 will feature Emma Scott, L.J. Shen, Ella Frank, LJ Shen, and many more. Got my ticket!! So excited!!
Jean…I will compromise with you. Griffin will be mine Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. He can be yours on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Deal?!?
Deal!
Woohoo! Jean!
Jean got the short stick with that deal.
Unless…she takes Nate on Sunday or Monday. Or both days… 😛
Random thought…
Am I the only one who is hoping for a sequel to Author Anonymous?
I still wonder from time to time what is happening in that author’s life.
Two words…Team Nate. You can have Griffin. Robin and I are sharing Nate!
100% Lisa. Not a Griff fan.
Kinda reminds me of Twilight…which team are you on?!?!
I’m still not done yet (so I’m skimming through the comments VERY lightly) *covers ears and eyes* lalalalalallaalalaaaaaaa!!!
I had to stop reading to do the new release list but tonight… I FINISH!!! I’m delightfully scared. 😀
P.S. I’m a bit delighted that there’s a reader divide between Griffin or Nate. Means I have NO idea how this is going to end. YAY ME!!!!! 😀
I can’t wait for you to finish!!!!!
