HAPPY LABOR DAY & good morning everyone!! Yes, I’m a little late with today’s list, still in “Labor Day” weekend mode, all sleepy and content while I search out some fun sounding earlybirds, and then get back to my own reading. 😉
Time for three things?
- I cheated on my Keto life for one day (only one day – the first time since I started) and had the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had from a place called “Grimaldi’s”. Loaded in meat, but super-thin crust so the damage wasn’t TOO bad. It was so worth it, too. 😉
- I can’t wait for it to start being cooler here in Florida. I’m so anxious for that crisp, cool breeze, and the scent of fall and woodburning stoves in the air. Also pumpkin and cinnamon smells. OH YES!!!!
- This has been one of the rainiest summers I can remember here in Florida. Pouring rain almost each and every day (not all day) but torrential pouring in the evenings for hours (and late at night while I sleep) and I just checked out my baby citrus trees that I sprouted from seed, and they are doing phenomenal!!!

1. I just started Until it Fades and I’m loving it so far. It’s my first “library book” so yay!!
2. I had cheese tots and a banana milkshake for dinner last night!
3. I’m doing nothing but writing today.

R… I had chocolate covered Banana Ice cream for dessert (although it’s “Halo Top” so it’s good for Keto). I LOVE IT!!
I love banana stuff!! The banana they used was too fresh though so it wasn’t as sweet as it should have been.

1-I’m relaxing and reading today. Alternating between “The One” by John Marrs and “Beauty’s Release” by Anne Rice, both are Library loans.
2-Currently eating boring eggs and grits and thinking I wish I had some scattered/smothered/covered
3-Can’t wait for fall type weather either which you know Maryse is only the 80’s rather than the 90s here in Florida
Oh, I forgot to involve myself in reading challenges on Good Reads this month so my personal goal it to read some of my KU that has been sitting there for way too long!
I got to say, I LOVE the Fallen Crest series, but the emotional backfire of NIghtmare has me re-reading. I needed something that made me happy. That book left me really unhappy. I found I can’t even read Christopher Pike level horror when it comes to adored characters. 🙁
smothered ‘n covered… you are speaking my language Steph!!!! I’m tempted to make a “fully loaded” cauliflower casserole (heavy cream and cheese and bacon and green onions and… Oh I could just eat it right now!!)
Maybe I can throw in some chicken in there too, and make it a complete meal. Yep. I think I’m gonna do it.

I had an awesome library with no book restrictions. I remember coming out and running into someone I knew and trying to make my stack of 12 (around there) books look less conspicuous, lol.
I borrowed actual books from my school library, but none since graduating, and this is the first e-book borrow!
1. Every time someone kills off Gong Yoo they kill a bit of my soul.
2. No one wants to do any BWs, cause they are all readers now. And they point and laugh at me.
3. I’m out of coffee.
1. Little dude woke up too early and fell 20 min ago. Now he won’t wake up.

3. Went to Target yesterday and no pumpkin spice creamer yet. I want my creamer!

I am loving my day off; however it is so hot, 91 With the humidity it feels like 98. So glad I walked my dogs very early this morning.
1. Funny bananas have been mentioned as I made banana bread this morning-Yum
2. Went to my first ever Chicken Wing Festival Saturday and tried so many different sauce flavors…. blueberry/ raspberry absolutely amazing.
3. Currently reading “ Accidents in Marriage” curled up on couch with my dogs.
Jenn…. I’m a chicken wing addict. That would have been HEAVEN for me!!!!
1. My Dad brought me a ton of fresh produce this morning and now I’m trying to use it up before it goes bad. Watermelon smoothies, blts, and chicken zucchini bake.
2. The local chocolate shop just released all their fall drinks and treats and I’m dying to go even though it’s so hot out, I can actually feel my skin cooking.
3. Ever since I opened my mouth about J’s sleeping, he’s back to tossing and turning all night and night time feeds. And I brought out the exersaucer today, cuz he’s a big boy now. *sniff*

It has been a very rainy summer here in Delaware too. That’s why I am so not ready for summer to be over. It officially won’t be over for a few more weeks at least. I finished Made Mine this morning. A crossover book between Lucy Lennox’s Made Marian series and Sloan Kennedy’s Protectke series. It’s a MM Romance. So good…Trying to find something else even though I should be cleaning

I just finished Some Sort of Crazy by Melanie Harlow. Not sure why I started with book 2, but it was a fun read. Just started #Lie by T. Gephart. I’m enjoying some quiet unproductive time today. (Unless reading counts as productive)
Maryse it sounds like you really enjoyed that forbidden pizza. A little break out from a diet now and then isn’t always a bad thing, anyway.
1. I’m going out later this morning to catch up with some old friends at a cafe where they make the best coffee.
2. It’s a glorious spring day here today. Yes, it’s spring! Yay. And not working today either. Double yay!
3. The new Christina Lauren shiny about Josh and Hazel has downloaded onto my kindle so I’m gonna start that later today. 😀
I am soooo late to the party (caught a bug and slept most of today), but can I still join in on three things?
1. I love Halo Top ice cream! I can indulge without the guilt.
2. Hubby brought me donuts from Voodoo Donuts in Portland, and let’s just say my cheat day has been enough to last for the next 6 months. *sigh*
3. I wore knee-high boots and a light sweater yesterday (3/4 length, but still), and I am SO ready for Fall!!!
I have just finished a fantastic book. You know the one, can’t go to bed, walking around with book in hand. And the annoying family that make you reread the same page 10 times.
Drum roll it’s called “Binding 13” recommended by Jan easy 5 stars. I loved it. It’s a rugby player book. The book is written really well. I think it’s 825 pages. The author is Chloe Walsh.
Jan it just came in on my kindle too.
