Happy Monday everyone! 20 earlybirds just went live so far, and counting (including books by (Stacey Lynn, Tiffany Reisz, Sawyer Bennett, Bethany Lopez). I’ll be adding more if we get anymore surprises. 🙂 Quite a few standouts including a funny sounding Christmas one that I’m totally in the mood to try!
Okay, now time for THREE THINGS:
I saw Bohemian Rhapsody on Friday and it was absolutely fantastic. Best. Movie. Ever! I’d watch it over and over again, and I just can’t stop thinking about it. Nobody got up from their seats at the end, we were all just so stunned and moved and just wanted to continue absorbing it all… and listening to the music. The actor (Rami Malek) that played Freddie Mercury was outstanding and deserves an Oscar. I mean, I’ve never scene anything so amazing portrayed in a retelling of a person’s life. In fact, ALL the actors were outstanding. They really put everything they had into creating this biography, and you guys know I love biographies so this was absolute perfection to me.- One of my new favorite quotes is “Fortune favors the bold” (also from that movie). Wow. It says so much and motivates me.
- I’m in the process of re-arranging the blog so that it is easier to navigate (a lot of the work is behind the scenes, with proper tagging and revamping the top main menu bar and side menus/columns) and soon, whatever your “book catnip”, it will be SO much easier to find a list for exactly what you’re in the mood for. 😉 I’m a list maker and an organizer at heart, so I’m totally having fun!!

Good Morning All-
I can take having my heart ripped out; I can handle gut wrenching sobs, I can handle my heart pounding in anticipation, and all the angst you want to throw at me….however HEARTBREAK WARFARE is in a class of it’s own. The level this book did all of that to me is like no other I have ever experienced. It has not been easy, very tough to read at times and I am not even done with it. (80%) I have had to take multiple breaks from it when the hurt got to be too much. Even when I was taking these breaks I could not stop thinking about them. I am starting to think there may not be enough stars in the sky for this one.
Jean, I don’t think you need to worry… I’m a book wimp and I am sure you will love Heartbreak Warfare.
1. I stayed up til 3am finishing HW. Still not sure how I feel.

1. My Bluetooth headset broke. *sighs* I am gonna be ordering a new one from Amazon today, but still, it’s annoying.
2. My niece introduced me to sugar scrub for lips while I was at the last wedding. So, I went out and bought some. Not her brand. She paid 60 for a scrub and a lip balm. I’m cheap. I paid 3 dollars for the Elf brand and just use my usual EOS. It will be perfect this winter when my lips chap. They get so chapped I use Carmex (which burns like a sob), so this as a preventative to having to use Carmex? YAY!
3. This song would be awesome if I could hear her voice more. She blends in too much with the background music. I want to see a revision with someone who can be heard.

1. I read Heartbreak Warfare in less than 24 hours. I was obsessed. For me it was such an emotional rollercoaster that I couldn’t sleep until I knew how it would all end. It gave me an unreal level of anxiety…but so worth it. It was an amazing story!
2. Now I’m reading Fearless by Lauren Gilley and guess what?! It’s an emotional gut wrencher too! I’m loving it though even though all this angst is wearing me out…
3. I’m in North Carolina for a few days visiting my parents…enjoying lots of iced tea and fattening food …and tons of reading time.
1. It’s nearly time to work on a best of the year list already, can you believe it?! Mine will be small this year.
2. My beauty blender developed mold after 1 use. I washed it correctly, let it dry right and everything. I couldn’t believe it! So, I’m also cheap and will not waste $20 for another that I hardly use anyway and I got the Elf brand. Feels the same. *shrug*
3. I’m getting excited for Thanksgiving now. My family on my Mom’s side, since my Grandma died, is crap at getting together, and this year I’ll see everyone again. We skipped last. Also, the food. My aunt is my favorite cook and she always makes stuff special for me. 🙂 I’m doing broccoli cheese casserole and apple crisp (never made it before, but looks easy enough). AND 2 of my cousins are pregnant, 1 at 38 years old with twins!! My Grandma was a twin and we would always talk of who would be the one to get blessed with them. She said this was the generation and everyone’s about done having kids. I was beginning to lose hope. And I’m so happy for her. She has a 13 year old too and is finally happy and settled.
1. I got a new car. Yay me!!! I’ve been driving old lady cars for so many years, that I feel all sporty and super cool in it.
2. My husband and I stayed in a Bed & Breakfast that was on a converted old Casino Riverboat sitting on the Missouri River this weekend. It was so fun and relaxing. They serve breakfast promptly at 8:30, and you just go down to the community dining area and they bring you your plate of food – whatever they are serving is what you get. And we drove into “town” in the evening for dinner and found the most amazing place to eat. I haven’t had a meal that good in a long time!!! I had the chicken fried steak and my husband had the pork chop with apples and campfire beans. Apparently I’ve never had really GOOD chicken fried steak because this was something out of this world.
3. I am wanting to read Heartbreak Warfare so badly, but I need to finish my last challenge book from last month, then the 3 from November, then I have about 10 or 15 Netgalley books I really should get to…oh screw it, I’mma gonna read it because I need my heart broken!!!

2-I read Royally Yours this weekend and loved it! It was sweet and sad and oh so good. This whole series is one of my all time favs. I started a few other books but decided to go with Not Until You.
3-I got Starz yesterday just so I can watch Outlander. I started reading Drums of Autumn over a year ago and I need to get back into it so I can stay ahead of this season.

3. I love this dance. Just love. Posted a version before but posting another because any version I love. The woman is the choreographer and she gave him moves that are sometimes seen as more feminine….he wanted to play with adrogeny. I think it is deceptively simple and sexy.

The guy in the beginning is the choreographer. I watched him on something else and his hearing ….all the hears and sounds he picks up is insane. Then seeing how there is a move or more for every beat.

Okay, Bev, I watched the first one so far. I gotta say, it was interesting. Men and women dance differently not just because of feminine/ masculine, but because their body weight center is different. So as I’m watching the girl, a lot of the moves are either purposely sexy or more, strong and tough. When he does it, it does come off as androgynous in the sexy parts, but the weird thing was, in the strong sections, he comes off as weak.
This isn’t saying I didn’t like it, but it does say something. The sexy… I expected that. But I didn’t think of the fact that men’s center of gravity is their chest while women’s is in their hips. So the “tough” didn’t come off as strong for him because the body parts used just weren’t his “tough” area. 🙂
I loved the second one. He just moved so smoothly. I liked both songs.
Ooh Wall of Winnipeg and Binding 13 are both so good. WoW is a quicker read though so that might help you decide which to read first Nay. But I think you’ll love ’em both.

Rainy day here today (and it’s a holiday!!) so maybe a good reading day for me 😀 I’ve got the new Jana Aston Good Time (we’re a day ahead here in Australia remember 😀 😀 😀 ) but also a HR preorder the new Grace Burrowes My One and Only Duke just arrived too. Both look good. I might go Jana Aston first maybe??? Not sure. Which one, which one….. (first world problem)
3. Eeep I just heard on the news they’ve had heavy rain at Flemington this morning. That’s the race track where they’ll run the famous Melbourne Cup horse race this afternoon. All the ladies in their beautiful fashions and their fascinators might get wet!!!!! How sad for them. It’s one of the biggest fashion days of the year here.
Binding 13 is crazy good. If only ppl understood my need to live in this book and leave. me. be. It’s giving me old school feels! And talk about fleshed our characters. Something about the way they curse makes it feel more classy than over here. Lol! The spelling too.
Happy Monday!! Enjoying my week off from work so far!! Heartbreak Warfare sounds good, but I think I need something more lighthearted right now.
1. Was good and started the day at the gym.
2. Spent 2 hours at the wallpaper store looking for a wallpaper for my bathroom.
3. Rearranged and touched up the paint in my upstairs hallway.
I hadn’t thought of the different points of gravity. I was a little underwhelmed when I first watched Move but kept coming back to it. Now love it. I like the practice version best and then a show version because they show reactions. I love reaction shots.
One thing that surprised me in kpop is different looks for each album. Reminds me of Madonna. I am not sure if I didnt know him I would know it was the same guy because he looks so different to in the two different videos.
The underwhelmed feeling at first probably was due to that. I don’t think they even took that into consideration. lol Though they also did the feminine shoulder to head thing a lot. Honestly, I don’t know why I know this crap. lol But for fun, walk with your chest like a guy. It doesn’t just feel awkward, it feels like you are about to fall. 😛 The fact that he did that without looking uncomfortable is amazing.
Might I just say, I didn’t remember a thing about this book except sexy rugby players, set in Ireland (sucker for those) and all the talk of the angst. So, I’m thinking forbiddeny (yay!). I remember wanting to read it way back when Jan mentioned it and now that everyone has been talking it up, this is what I pictured.
SOOO not what I thought!! But, I can’t stop reading and it’s late and I’ve got such a busy day tomorrow. BAH!!!

I use cocoa butter on my lips all the time and never have chapped lips anymore. Just buy a jar at Walgreens. I have a small container that I put some in to put in my pocket to take on the go. Also works good on my legs as a moisturizer.

All though I am late here are 3 things-
1-Had a Pup-Party for my furbabies on Saturday. They actually turned 4 on 10/27 but their furry friends all could not make it so I had it a week later. I have never done this before but it was a blast. My babies are still recovering.
2-Went to the Bears/Bills game on Sunday and had a blast, ever though the Bills sucked a** it was so much fun!
3-Finished “Heartbreak Warfare” yesterday and the first word of the title says it all. I downloaded a book last night that came out I think a month ago and I am really liking it so far; at 25% It is called “The Fall Before Flight” by L.M. Halloran.
