Monday Earlybird Book Releases + some that are going live at midnight! 11-19-18

Happy Monday!!! It’s time again to start the new week and Thanksgiving is almost here and then crazy fun (or just plain crazy) Black Friday!! 😀 YAY US!! And here are the early bird book releases of the day (I’ll add more as they go live). 😀
Three things!
1.) I made pan fried Pork Tenderloins with preserved lemons – super salty and delicious (oh and green bell peppers, onions & mushrooms even though the real recipe only calls for onions – I like more veggies!!) this weekend, in a butter-sage-vermouth sauce. SO. FREAKING. DELICIOUS. It’s a french dish called “Filet Mignon de Porc aux Citrons Confits”. P.S. Here’s a quick video I made of it simmering in the sauce (AND the recipe if you want to go for it).

2.) I make my own preserved lemons (my sister taught me) and it’s so easy. Just cut a washed lemon in quarters (peel and all), shove it down into mason jar, squeezing the juices out into the jar as you go, pour kosher salt all over it, then another layer with another lemon and so on. Left in the fridge the lemons soak up all their own juices and salt and become so tender and the peel gets an almost translucence to it, and now you can use them whole in recipes and as garnish. SO yummy! And if you’re not in the mood to make them and wait for them to “do their thing” (takes a few weeks to months), you can get a jar on Amazon!
3.) I made more cute candles on Saturday! It’s such a calming and peaceful hobby. This time I made blueberry muffin scented ones!!

Jenn: oh and three things for me…hmmm

1-Yesterday was my Dad’s BDAY-he is 67! Every year I feel blessed for another year with him. He is one of 6 and out of his 5 siblings he has lived the longest. We lost my Aunt in 1994 (his oldest sister) at 46 years old, and we lost my two Uncles (his only two brothers oldest and youngest) at 61(2011) and 55 (2017). It is so freaking scary. He has two sisters both younger them him still with us. I know I should not think about this but I feel so bad for him. He lost both his parents young too my Grandpa at 55 (I was so young when he died and the only thing I remember is he called me “Jenny Penny” and my Grandma at 67 (we share the same bday, so out of 40 something grand kids I was her favorite  and she got to name me too) So sorry for all that just feel extra emotional this morning from sharing his day yesterday.
2-Well after I am sure depressing all of you, sorry not my intention I just emailed Maryse a pic that will make all your days…well at least it did mine. It is my newest nephew rocking is xmas jammies…I know it’s not the 21st of Dec lol but I could not help myself.
3-Did a BR of Cold Cole Heart with Michele G, Nay, Judy, Ela, Lisa however I think Ela and Lisa abandoned us half way through…not sure if they finished but any way so freaking good! Definitely for you Maryse!
