HOLY MOLY this just couldn’t be a more perfect Monday!!! What a list of “earlybirds” to wake up to, I just can’t even… The sequel to the Paper Princess, the latest billionaire by Max Monroe, a new one from one of my new favorite authors (Julianna Keyes), a new football star by Eden Butler… this mini-list is loaded in awesomeness.

Some of our latest favorites have sequels that we finally get to jump in to, and this just feels like a pre-Tuesday, to me. ;) It’s Tuesday 0.5. LOL!!!! *snort* I crack myself up!!!

Er… okay, I need coffee.

In the meantime, lookit what’s LIVE!!! :D !!!

  1. Broken Prince: A Novel (The Royals Book 2) by Erin Watt <— LIVE!!! PAPER PRINCESS SEQUEL!! POOR GIRL LIVING WITH RICH FAMILY ANGST ALERT! And hopefully, some serious relief from that last cliffhanger. ;) *oomph!!!* I can’t wait to find out what THAT was all about (and here’s my review of “Paper Princess” – book #1)
  2. Banking the Billionaire (Bad Boy Billionaires Book 2) by Max Monroe <— LIVE!!!! MAX MONROE SURPRISE!!! I know a ton of you here loved book #1 like crazy, so here’s some more! “Uncensored. Hilarious. And too damn hot to put into words.
Grab a fan and get ready for one hell of a ride because when the opposite of opposites attract, things are bound to get a little messy.” and DG LOVED book #1! “No but seriously…I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book! Funny does not describe it just.downright.HILARIOUS. And smexy. Loaded with hotness, tons of laughs, witty banter and smex. Benadryl and this book are 4EVER linked in my mind. Can’t wait to meet the other two billionaires in this series by the oh so mysterious Max Monroe!” (P.S. here’s the series reading order)
  3. Tapping the Billionaire (Bad Boy Billionaires Book 1) by Max Monroe <— P.S. BOOK #1 IS ON SUPER-BARGAIN ALERT!!!
  4. Ball Peen Hammer by Lauren Rowe <— LIVE!! HE’S A STRIPPER ALERT!!! Tee hee!!! This one is going live in just an hour or so and that title… *blush* Annnnnnnnnddd… he’s a stripper “Yup, the cocky jerk turned out to be Seattle’s answer to Magic Mike, a stripper known as “Ball Peen Hammer”–which meant Keane Morgan was emphatically not the kind of guy I’d ever fall for. Not. At. All. No freakin’ way. Well, until Keane convinced me to fall for him, that is. Which I did.
  5. The Good Fight (Time Served Book 3) by Julianna Keyes <— LIVE!!! HE’S A THUG FROM CAMDEN… (this is the 3rd installment in the series) “She doesn’t have time for a thug from Camden. But she keeps coming back…” (here’s the Time Served Series Reading Order)
  6. Open Road by M.J. O’Shea <— LIVE!!! M/M ROMANCE ALERT! Heartbroken after a breakup, he and his best friend take a road trip but… “They don’t have much of a plan; they just start driving. It takes Angus a couple of days to do much more than grunt when Reece talks to him, but slowly he opens up. They drive, talk, heal, shout, drink a bit too much sometimes, dance, meet new friends… and somewhere between Portland, Oregon, and Portland, Maine, they fall in love. Which was the last thing in the world Angus expected.”
  7. On Thin Ice (The Baltimore Banners Book 8) by Lisa B. Kamps <— LIVE!!! HOCKEY STAR ALERT!!Being saddled with her younger sister who refuses to grow up and take responsibility for anything is turning Lauren’s world into one crazy disaster after another. The last thing she needs to deal with is a professional hockey player who’s too attractive for his own good—or for her sanity.” Here’s the Thin Love Series Reading Order
  8. Thick & Thin (Thin Love Book 3) by Eden Butler <— LIVE!!! FOOTBALL STAR ALERT!! BUT! I think these have to be read in order… “I claimed her when I was a boy. I held her until I was a man. She was my first thought every morning, my last smile at night, and a million memories in between. Then one night, with her warmth still lingering on the sheets, Aly King walked away from me, from us, from our life…”
  9. Shelter Me: A Shelter Novel by Stephanie Tyler <— LIVE!!! SHE LOST HER MEMORY ALERT! “Falling for Lucas will force me to revisit my lost memories—and possibly lose myself, my art, and him in the process. And now he has me skating the thin edge between desire and fear as I use a past I don’t remember to leverage a future I’m not sure I want…”
  10. This Is The Route Of Twisted Pain (Neither This, Nor That Book 1) by MariaLisa deMora <— LIVE!!! BIKER BOOK ALERT! THEY COME FROM TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS… “Penny Dane’s background gives her an edge in the life she’s chosen to lead. Raised in a can-do family, she’s resilient, rolling with life’s punches and landing on her feet. But, when the past holds painful secrets—when a single misstep can turn deadly—can she trust the passion this man stirs in her?”
  11. Ignite (Legacy) by Rebecca Yarros <— LIVE!!! BEST FRIEND FIREFIGHTERS ALERT! “She’s stubborn, strong, sexy as hell, and my best friend. She also has no idea that I’m in love with her. But Colorado is calling me home, needing every Legacy-born firefighter to successfully rebuild our fathers’ team. One night will change everything between us, But she’s tied to Alaska and my future is in Colorado…”

PREORDERS (tomorrow’s!!! :D )

“One by Jewel E. Ann comes out July 28!!! It is a standalone which involves a couple secondary characters from the Jack and Jill series. It’s recommended to read the Jack and Jill series (End of Day, Middle of Knight and Dawn of Forever) first because One has some spoilers. So here goes… Maryse you MUST read the Jack and Jill Series!!!!!! It’s so good!!!!”

I don’t know what happened but Amazon canceled my pre-order for Charlotte Stein’s Never Better book that was supposed to be released for tomorrow. I loved the first two books! The 5th book in Shay Savage’s highly addicting series Unexpected Circumstances is out tomorrow too!

Maryse July 25, 2016 at 8:28 AM

Oh thank you for letting me know, Jen!! I’ll take it off the list. The publishing date must have been pushed back…

DG July 25, 2016 at 9:41 AM

Woohoo! Banking the Billionaire is MINE!!! Happy Monday dance!!! So excited for this book…if it is half as funny as Tapping the Billionaire then my week is made!

marina July 25, 2016 at 10:34 AM

Maryse, I am ploughing through a second half re-read of Paper Princess and cannot wait to start Broken Prince TODAY!! Your review totally helped me refresh my memory! So excited!!!!!

Grey July 25, 2016 at 11:04 AM

OMG…. yay!! Banking the Billionaire and Broken Prince!!! woot woot! Which one first though!?!? I think I need to do a reread on Paper Princess and I read Tapping Her not long ago, so I’m pretty current on Thatch and Cassie… hmmm, gah, First World Problems…

Maryse July 25, 2016 at 11:13 AM

LOL Grey!!!!!

Maryse July 25, 2016 at 11:13 AM

My pleasure Marina!!!

MichelleS July 25, 2016 at 11:25 AM

I stayed up until 1:30 am trying to finish Paper Princess – I have about a half hour left. I am late to this bandwagon – but I wanted on it. We will see if I am ready to dive into Broken Prince after this is done.

Tessa July 25, 2016 at 11:51 AM

*yawns* I finally put Broken Prince down at one o’clock. I’m not done yet, but it sucked me in.

Fabi July 25, 2016 at 1:07 PM

I didn’t know Elle Kennedy was Erin Watt. :-0

I just put that comment in the wrong thread. So embarrassed. Clutzy fingers.

R. Renee July 25, 2016 at 4:57 PM

I’m starting a Paper Princess BR today. Hoping it cures my Fish hangover!

Fabi July 25, 2016 at 5:15 PM

Fight the Tide: Shifter Gay Romance (Kick at the Darkness Book 2) Kindle Edition

It’s live a day early. Kick at the Darkness was one of my favorite books last year. And Keira Andrews, well, she’s written more than one of my favorite books.

Fabi July 25, 2016 at 5:16 PM

R, I’d be tempted to join I’m but I have to wait to see if Paper Prince is a CH like Paper Princess was.

R. Renee July 25, 2016 at 5:30 PM

I didn’t even think about that LOL. Honestly, I hope it is. The only thing that will get me over my current book hangover is another one of lesser intensity!

bev July 25, 2016 at 6:46 PM

Landline & Devil in Winter are on sale. Both are excellent.

Lisa July 25, 2016 at 8:38 PM

Fabi….it sounds like Prince IS a CH too. Im waiting til the final book Twisted Palace comes out before I start. I tend to go a bit postal over CHs ;)

Lisa July 25, 2016 at 8:39 PM

Grabbed Max Monroe’s new one for now. A good laugh is in order!!

bev July 25, 2016 at 8:50 PM

It’s funny. A CH can be hard but, for me, only a few days or so and with random thoughts popping into my mind. I usually then move on. When the next story comes out it is then a nice little present like, yes I get to find out now.
The one I’m mostly looking forward to is the sequel to An Ember in the Ashes, though that wasn’t really a CH. I just want to see what’s going to happen next.

Lisa July 25, 2016 at 9:30 PM

Bev….my issue is more that I forget too much detail between books and I can’t be bothered having to re-read the previous book. Sometimes the gap between books is SO long Ive just lost interest by the time the next one is published. Lets put it down to old age and grumpiness. ;)

R. Renee July 25, 2016 at 9:32 PM

That’s exactly my problem Lisa. As long as I know there is a CH going in, I’m cool, but if it takes too long for the next book, forget it. That was Sylvia Day for me. Loved it, but gave up.

Lisa July 25, 2016 at 9:43 PM

Most of the trilogies/series Ive loved, I have waited to read them back to back. I never finished Sylvia Day either!
On average I read a book a day…..so if its three months between books in a series, I’ve got 90 plus other stories clouding my memory of that CH ending!

Fabi July 25, 2016 at 10:45 PM

Lisa, thank you for the heads up on Paper Prince. I “go postal” too. I feel cheated and angry that I was sold a partial story in the guise of a “book”. If I can – if at all possible – I avoid them like the plague.

On a happier note – I think I’m going to line up Max Monroe’s new one too. :-)

bev July 25, 2016 at 10:57 PM

Ok, going to try and get an hour in of reading before bed. Been watching TV so haven’t been able to get back to it yet.

Jean July 26, 2016 at 10:38 AM

So excited about Banking the Billionaire! But reading Bossman by Vi Keeland right now….it’s really good and H is really loveable!

Another one I’ve been waiting for, Perfect Rage, Unyielding series by Nashoda Rose…..came out 2 days ago! The Tear Asunder series with the Unyielding series spinoff are awesome!!!!

Missed you guys! I’ve been MIA!

Fabi July 26, 2016 at 11:31 AM

Missed you too girlie.

Have fun with Bossman. Let me know when you going to hit up BtB and I’ll join ya.

Jean July 26, 2016 at 11:45 AM

I’m at 50% of Bossman and then BtB is next. Hopefully by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest! There are too many new books out and it’s killing me!

Fabi July 26, 2016 at 12:11 PM

Sounds perfect.

Cheryl July 26, 2016 at 12:37 PM

Thanks for the heads up about Paper Prince, thought for some reason it was just 2 books. Lisa, that sums it up exactly for me too regarding CH’s.

Finished Act Like It. Enjoyable, light-hearted read. Just what I needed for a vacation read. Thanks Bev!!

Now what to read… maybe BR BtB with Jean and Fabi?! ;)

Fabi July 26, 2016 at 12:55 PM

yeah Cheryl :-)

Jean July 26, 2016 at 1:05 PM

Yes Cheryl! Do it!

Maryse July 26, 2016 at 1:50 PM

Oh I wanted to read that one, Cheryl!!! Okay I’m adding it to today’s list. Good price too!

Maryse July 26, 2016 at 1:59 PM

I’m adding ‘em bev!! :D

bev July 26, 2016 at 2:33 PM

Cheryl, when she held the cat up to him, that still makes me smile.

Cheryl July 26, 2016 at 4:16 PM

OMG, hilarious Bev- “Twinsies” and his reaction to seeing cat Richard for the first time!!!

Lisa July 26, 2016 at 6:20 PM

Jean Cheryl and Fabi..Im jumping on your BR of BtB too. I’m just finishing up the novella to TtB.

PS: loved Max Monroe’s Dedication: ‘To the extra five pounds we gained while writing this novella: F@#k you.
And to donuts: You’re delicious. Don’t change’.
Too funny!!

Lisa July 26, 2016 at 6:25 PM

Gotta love a book with a good animal cameo to make you smile:
Hollywood Dirt, Cocky Bastard, Bossman, Tapping the Billionaire…..

Fabi July 26, 2016 at 6:36 PM

Woohoo Lisa. Jump on the pony express with us.

Well, uh, mines leaving tomorrow or more likely Thurs since I have to finish an ARC I’m on right now.

Do we have to read the novella first? I haven’t read that yet.

bev July 26, 2016 at 6:36 PM

Lol, Cheryl. Keep hoping she comes out with a new book. I really enjoyed it and like this type of CR. Just fun and likable heroine.

Lisa, love a well written animal. One of my favorites is Jim the Newfoundland from the Aisling Grey series, though really a demon. And just read a YA with Baconnaise the gerbil.

R. Renee July 26, 2016 at 6:37 PM

Fabi, is that the one from GR? Have you started it yet?

Jean July 26, 2016 at 6:47 PM

You guys should definitely read the Novella first!

Jean July 26, 2016 at 6:52 PM

Yay Lisa! That dedication is great! And yes a good animal cameo makes a book even more memorable for me!

Maryse, Hobbit is so adorable!

Fabi July 26, 2016 at 6:57 PM

R, no idea which one you’re talking about. I’m currently reading/listening to Something like Summer by Jay Bell and an ARC of All Note Long by Annabeth Albert. I have both of those listed as currently reading on GR.

Wolfsong by TJ Klune is the one I suggested to Maryse – because it’s so good and original. I think I read it last week? I don’t remember. I read too much. I can tell you that it’ll be my July favorite.

The BR with Jean, Cheryl and Lisa is for Banking the Billionaire by Max Monroe. I’ll be starting that one either tomorrow or more likely on Thursday. It sounds like I also need to go back and read the novella first. So it may push it out to Friday. Hopefully not, but I’m busy at work so I don’t have as much reading time this week.

Somewhere in all that, did I answer your question?

R. Renee July 26, 2016 at 7:02 PM

Fabi, hahaha I read ARC and saw “beta.” I was talking about that MM that you were going to beta read.

Fabi July 26, 2016 at 7:04 PM

ooohhh, I started it yesterday. But it doesn’t have an official title yet. Although, she’s already working on covers and I really like her ideas. Beta reading is super slow. I told her it would take me anywhere from a week to a month to finish depending on the book.
