The Fall Up sounds amazing. So does The Realm of You.

Jean October 26, 2015 at 3:08 PM

So many new books in the last week! I have been 1-clicking like a mad person! New releases and series continuations! Now, what the heck do I read next!

Just finished The Ground Rules Rewritten! Holy Hannah! I hate to ask, but when is the third book coming out? Any way you can find this out for us Maryse? I’m dying here!

I finished Commodity last night. For me, I’m thinking 4.5 stars. It was a nail biter and had a lot of moments I will remember, but the back story (what happened the day the world we know ended and why and who and all that) was just a “what the?” for me. Needed a little more than what I was given there. So a weird genre. And so very Shay Savage. Strong alpha male lead. But someone mentioned “trigger warning” (Fabi?) and I would say YES!!!! It needs one for sure. And the first half handled that like I would expect for PTSD behavior and the second half did not. Overall though, liked it a whole lot. I’m just being critical. I devoured it, so I must have liked it.

THE QUEEN COMES OUT TOMORROW!!! OMG. I can’t wait. I love Soren, Nora, and Kingsley and crew so so much. Amazing writing. What a wicked wicked tangled web she weaves. Anyone else excited about this one?

Fabi October 26, 2015 at 6:08 PM

I tried really hard to finish Commodity last night. But I only got to 94% before my eyes blinked shut and stayed that way. Honestly, I still like it. Even this far into it. But now I agree with Michelle that it’s not as deep as Krylov’s novel. I’ll come back with a final update, but I’m leaning toward MichelleS’s take on it. I also love Shay’s alphas. They are unapologetically bad a$$.

Lisa October 26, 2015 at 6:42 PM

Just finished Dirty English which was an OK read for me. Enjoyable but probably not memorable if that makes sense.
Think I’ll try The Fall Up. It sounded familiar to me but I might be thinking of Infinity + One by Amy Harmon.
Goodness there are so many stories and characters swimming around in my grey matter its no wonder they start to blend.

Robyn October 26, 2015 at 7:24 PM

I’m waiting for The Queen!! The last book in the series….Soren, Nora and Kingsley are like the kinky family you never had. Hehe! I can’t wait for Soren and Nora to get their HEA, whatever that entails.

Shirley October 26, 2015 at 8:24 PM

Jean, That cliffhanger at the end!! What the heck is going to happen in the 3rd and final book? Oh the anticipation! According to Roya Carmens facebook page the 3rd book is expected Jan/Feb.

Lisa October 26, 2015 at 8:52 PM

Shirley and Jean….you’ve just reinforced my decision to collect all three books before starting GR. I am pathologically phobic about CHs if I know there is no relief for months.
But I am so anxious to read this story…everyone is raving about it.

Cheryl October 26, 2015 at 9:12 PM

Lisa, I agree. Can’t wait to read TGR series, but not until complete!!

Amy October 26, 2015 at 9:23 PM

The Fall Up and The Realm of You…I’ve got butterflies on crack in my tummy over those two!!!!! And I’m thing Harlot and Now and Again are going to be one-clicks as well. :D

Maryse! You’re killing me with all these great lists the last few days…and I love ya for it!! Seriously, thank you for all the work you put into gathering together all these great finds. *big squeezy hug*

Amy October 26, 2015 at 9:25 PM

Lisa and Cheryl, I’m right there with you both…even though our trusty reading buddies are making it so dang difficult to hold off on it! :?

Lisa October 26, 2015 at 9:47 PM

Amy, Cheryl…lets buddy read when series is complete?? We’ll probably be the only ones who haven’t read it by then: )

fabi October 26, 2015 at 9:57 PM

I’m caving in. I tried so hard to avoid the whole “Halloween read” October trend. I don’t like scary or spooky. But here I go *resistance is futile*.

I’m going to start reading Stygian next. I can’t resist that title.

MichelleS October 27, 2015 at 7:39 AM

Robyn – the Queen is the final book in Original Sinners? Oh boo. But I do want a HEA for everyone. Like you said, whatever that means! A collar and some hessian boots for sure!!! LOL

Ela October 27, 2015 at 8:16 AM

Tessa October 27, 2015 at 9:17 AM

*grins* I pre-ordered The Iron Warrior by Julie Kagawa and literally fell asleep in the second chapter. I so wanted to read it, but I guess I was more tired than I thought.

Lisa M October 27, 2015 at 9:23 AM

Rachel don’t hid your kindle!!! I can’t wait to start KA’s new book. Already downloaded!! Reading it on my iPhone 6+ so I have it with me always!!! Read most of my books there. Sneaky sneaky this way no one knows what I’m up to!! Except for my family!!! They always know!!! You reading again Mom!!! You are addicted!!! Yes I am!!

Amy October 27, 2015 at 10:22 AM

TGWATG isn’t what I was expecting…it was supposed to be my creepy read, and yet all it’s doing is hurting my heart. How crazy to be getting a different perspective in this sort of story.

So far I’m really liking it! :D

Maryse October 27, 2015 at 11:12 AM

YAY!!! I have to finish November 9 first (by tonight) and then I’m on it.:D I’m so excited!!!

Maryse October 27, 2015 at 11:23 AM

It is my pleasure Amy. It’s kind of like I’m “archiving” all the cool finds… and if there are enough of ‘em in a day, I need to make lists. It’s a compulsion. LOL!!!

Maryse October 27, 2015 at 11:28 AM

I’ll look into it, Jean for sure!!! :D

Jean October 27, 2015 at 11:48 AM

Maryse, I emailed Roya Carmen and she got back to me that the 3rd book will be released Jan/Feb! Ugh!
