Hey Maryse, Twisted Reality (Blind Reality Book 2) by Heidi McLaughlin releases tomorrow. Have to say I was initially mad, ok pissed off, that book 1, (Blind Reality) ended in a CH that I was TOTALLY unprepared for. If I had known this was going to end on a cliffhanger without a release date for the next book, I would have waited to read it. Definitely fell in to my “rant” about authors being upfront about CH’s and books being part of a series!! BR was great up until the CH.

Ok, random thought. Does anyone else think Michael Phelps life reads like one of our books? Celebrated jock, questionable personal life, 2 DUI’s, of which the last one he gets suspended from competing for six months. Soon after this, he gets back with on/off again girlfriend, gets engaged and then has a baby with her. Now everyone’s Olympic Hero. Yeh, I’ve read too many sports romances. :>

Reading Once Upon a Half-Time. So far, it is a hilarious, good read!! It’s part of a series, but each book can be read as a standalone.

I remember Phelps first Olympics. I and my family were just glued to all of his races. It was fun to watch and root for him.
I used to love watching gymnastics and just having to watch it when it was Atlanta, and how awesome that turned out to be.
Honest truth. I don’t have the newest Arcana yet. I lost my cell phone on Wed. and so I have to get a new one instead of books. (seriously my fault for losing it.)
That said, I am reading a fantasy romance? I think romance? that should be good, but is missing the mark with me. Dragon Unbound by Chelsea Campbell. *shrugs*

I have decided to try, for the rest of the year, to have a small tbr of 4 books a month. I read more than that……by a little bit. The extra books a month can be my squirrel books. I’m going to see how it works. My books read to books owned is so freaking ridiculous.
Bev…… So far I have stuck to my 2016 resolution to GR review every book I read this year and note start and finish dates. Admittedly some reviews are only one or two sentences but most of the time I write enough to jog my own memo about the book/characters/what I felt etc. Its going to make it easier to do my top ten books of the year!!
