Thank you for the mention. Love your blog!

Grey June 13, 2016 at 6:10 PM

I believe that Into The Light by Aleatha Romig goes live tomorrow too… and by believe, I mean, that I’m stalking that ish like it’s my JOB…

bev June 13, 2016 at 6:26 PM

Grey are you driving on the Jellicoe Road?

Grey June 13, 2016 at 6:29 PM

bev, I started last night, didn’t get very far. I plan to get back on it tonight after I get the kidlets tucked away!

Jan130 June 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM

*checks out Into The Light*
Grey, it’s already gone live on amazon australia. I haven’t read any Aleatha Romig. Looks like suspense. Is it PNR?

Grey June 13, 2016 at 6:35 PM

Jan, I don’t think it’s PNR, she is one of my favorite erotic suspense writers. Like.. FAVE FAVE! Must haves… LOL. Like I said, I’m stalking that ish haha!

bev June 13, 2016 at 6:36 PM

Maryse, what are you reading, or is it going to be a surprise?

Grey June 13, 2016 at 6:37 PM

I should probably also give a warning… she’s one of the queens of the mindf*ck… and writes psychological twisted sh*t… it’s awesome. I love it haha! But, some of it, is brutal and it’s definitely a trigger for some, and not for everyone… just a heads up. I’m not sure this book will be like that, but… just wanted to warn ya, that some of her other books are… like LoA hard.

Tessa June 13, 2016 at 6:55 PM

Which of hers are LoA hard?

Cheryl June 13, 2016 at 6:55 PM

Grey looked at ITL and sounds like a unique story that I want to read, but noticed it’s 2 books and the 2nd one doesn’t come out till October! :( (

Grey June 13, 2016 at 7:03 PM

Tessa, I’d say the Consequences series. It was pretty rough. At least for me, because it didn’t have that fantastical element to it. But I still loved it… it’s the great writing.

I know Cheryl, I can’t help myself though. I have to read it now. I can’t wait. It’s like her other series. I am reading those as they come out too… even though they are a series. Craziness I tell you!

Amy June 13, 2016 at 7:05 PM

OOOOOOOOOH!! 1986 is so freaking MINE!!! :D

And Here’s to Us…I read her book The Rumor and it was really good, so I want HtU now, too!

Jan130 June 13, 2016 at 7:14 PM

Erotic suspense. OK, maybe. I’m not normally a big suspense reader. But I liked the blurb all the same. I might try a sample of ITL and see how scary it looks. But I think I’ll keep away from the Consequences series.
*peeps out of blankie fort with scared eyes*

Tessa June 13, 2016 at 7:21 PM

Thank you Grey. I read Consequences. (Boy was I swearing a blue streak at Tony!) so I think I’ll be fine with her other stuff. The reason I asked was I had Into the Light in my pre-order list and forgot about it. I was just worried it was something worse.

Tessa June 13, 2016 at 7:24 PM

Quick clarity on that statement, Consequence was a train wreck of awesome. I’m still not sure if I loved it or hated it, but it definitely was one of the darkest contemporary novels I’ve ever read. However, I could handle it and that was all I was saying. :P

Grey June 13, 2016 at 7:26 PM

Yeah, Consequences is not for the faint of heart… a strong constitution is needed… I threw my kindle at one point *blush*

Amy, I’m liking the look of 1986 too.

Maryse June 13, 2016 at 7:28 PM

*phew* I finished Idol, and now I’m looking for my next read. I want INTENSE!!!!! I want:

1.) My heart to break in a million pieces (maybe like “Rainfall or Me Before You) OR
2.) To fall head-over-heels in love (like I did with Travis) OR
3.) To laugh my butt off while swooning over the slow burn and scream the awesome fun-ness of it from the rooftops (like The Score or The Deal or Undecided)
4.) Or to be scared out of my mind, or enjoy a gasp-worthy plot twist that I didn’t see coming, and have an ultimate adrenaline rush.

So what next?

Amy June 13, 2016 at 7:37 PM

“1.) My heart to break in a million pieces (maybe like “Rainfall or Me Before You) OR
2.) To fall head-over-heels in love (like I did with Travis)” <——— *raises hand* Me too.

Amy June 13, 2016 at 7:41 PM

Grey, right??

I wonder if 1986 might bring about some heartbreak…

Maryse June 13, 2016 at 7:41 PM

Amy, we need to fill the spot for each of these numbers, and turn it into our mini ultimate-book-luck list! LOL!!!

Grey June 13, 2016 at 7:55 PM

2.) To fall head-over-heels in love (like I did with Travis) OR
4.) Or to be scared out of my mind, or enjoy a gasp-worthy plot twist that I didn’t see coming, and have an ultimate adrenaline rush.

3.) To laugh my butt off while swooning over the slow burn and scream the awesome fun-ness of it from the rooftops (like The Score or The Deal or Undecided)

I started Jellicoe Road last night, literally just started… but I’m thinking I want Into the Light… gah, I’m sorry bev…maybe I should go read Jellicoe Road so I can go into the light lol… bad pun…

Amy June 13, 2016 at 8:03 PM

YES!!! And I looked a little closer at #4 (all I saw at first was “to be scared out of my mind”) and I SO want a gasp-worthy plot twist! We haven’t had one of those in a while. Oh wait, we did recently…but I want another one!!

*sigh* What do we do? I’m so swamped and stressed with end-of-quarter work and finals, and I NEED a guaranteed read from that list. Maybe I’lll let you guinea pig a couple for me first ’cause a Maryse-went-nuts book from those categories will be an Amy-went-nuts book as well!

Amy June 13, 2016 at 8:14 PM

Hmmmm…Brutally Beautiful just wasn’t working for me yesterday, so I’m giving 1986 a shot. THAT is another type of book I would love to find…an Arsen-like book!! And I mean ALL the crazy, heart-achy, angsty feels of Arsen in their entirety!! :D

bev June 13, 2016 at 8:39 PM

Cause that’s not a tall order, lol.

Grey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Cheryl June 13, 2016 at 9:33 PM

Maryse, as far as #3 the other series of Kristen Callihan- The Game On series has a similar feel as The Score or The Deal. College football player H, strong, sarcastic h, slow-burn relationship.

Theresa June 14, 2016 at 12:17 AM

Andrea Smith Southern Comfort just went live and I think it may be taboo. Paige Tyler just had new release in her SWAT series. Karina Halle has cover reveal for The Debt this week. Can’t read gast enough fir the releases. Have at least 10 paid for new releases waiting for me.

Mar June 14, 2016 at 8:58 AM

Hey, wasn’t Up In Flames releasing on June 14th? I thought I had seen that, but now I see is on June 28th… Was I the only one mistaken?

Maryse June 14, 2016 at 1:11 PM

Hi Mar! It was but then the release date was pushed up (down?) a week…
