Oh the little things in life that bring us joy….Maryse guess what I have been doing all night and day with no sleep…….yeap drinking deep and I truly believe I have abused my brain cuz it is in overload from all the reading……..squeee
You really shouldn’t read Chicagoland. It started off as one of my favorite series, but after book 4s. Cliffhanger that totally made me want to punch Neill in the face for doing that to us, and then for the predictable 5th book….she has killed it for me. I’ll wait to finish until the rest (now scheduled for 10) are all released….and at a bargain prices
LOL Christina!!!
Did you read the Fever series while that one wasn’t yet completed? Talk about evil cliffhangers!! Thank goodness it’s complete (for now) for new readers.
No! I started a couple of months before the fifth book was released! I would have thrown the books after her evil cliffhangers! She, by far, had the most cliffhangers and the best cliffhangers I have ever read. It left you gasping and grabbing the next book. I feel for every one who read them while waiting for the next to be released.
So happy to have stumbled upon your site while looking for the Lords of the Underworld reading order! Finished those (whew!) and JUST (20 minutes ago) completed the Fever series. The cliffhanger in book 4 killed me. Killed me, I tell you! Ah, Jericho! I can’t wait to begin another series tomorrow! I, too, began with Twilight, Sookie then Anita Blake. I love them all but think Immortals After Dark may be my favorite; they’re predictable but I love those Valkyrie! Or maybe it’s the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Or Merry Gentry. I now know I’m not alone – you understand my newfound obsession with paranormal romance. What was I doing reading all of that non-fiction all those years?? Lol.
