Anne January 11, 2016 at 10:16 AM

Guys! I am half way through The Score and loving it!! Dean is so Dean! Oh and the bath scene was hilarious! I couldn’t stop laughing! This is Elle Kennedy at its best :D

So excited about Love in the Light!

Also I think I need to read Kulti soon. I don’t know why I’ve been putting it off for so long.

Lee C January 11, 2016 at 11:01 AM

@Nicole I read Full Domain last week, and ARC and OMG!! GREAT way to end the series.. just swoon! PS: Aaron and Kreed are mines :P #dibs

@Maryse.. you need to update the list.. Love in the Light is ALREADY live ..

@Anne, I am going to start The Score this evening… #excited.

Lee C January 11, 2016 at 11:03 AM

PS: It seems it’s only live on my end of the world.. oops LOL***

Theresa January 11, 2016 at 11:19 AM

Yep, my preorder did not come up but their is review. Hope mine comes up

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 12:15 PM

Yep Lee!! You are lucky!!!! LOL!

Tessa January 11, 2016 at 12:42 PM

The Score is so good, I don’t want to stop reading it! I have to, but it is so funny and wonderful, I don’t want to!

Stephanie January 11, 2016 at 12:58 PM

This is killing me!!! I would normally one-click Kristen Ashley the second her book goes live but this time I have to wait until the end of the week for payday. I can’t wait! BTW, Maryse, it’s been about a year since I’ve discovered your blog and you are the one who introduced me to Kristen Ashley. I was looking for something new to read and I saw your list over on the left about what to read after Kristen Ashley. That intrigued me and I read The Gamble first and I couldn’t stop after that. My favorite favorite favorite has to be Kane “Tack” Allen in Motorcycle Man. Can’t get enough of him.

marina January 11, 2016 at 2:22 PM

I so want to read The Score but I’m obsessed with Making of a Murderer on Netflix right now…. I’ve deviated from reading this last week but I’ll get back!

Anne January 11, 2016 at 3:32 PM

Wait…What?!? I never saw that coming!! I am 86% in The Score and wow that shocked me! You guys this book might be my favorite so far from the Off-Campus series.

Anne January 11, 2016 at 3:32 PM

Stephanie I agree about Tack! I love him too :)

Theresa January 11, 2016 at 3:52 PM

Marsye, don’t forget Suanne Lacquer tor the 14th – no preorder- can’t wait. Half way through with an Emma Scott book I keep moving around , now I got new shinnies coming at me but I love my Emma Scott.

bev January 11, 2016 at 3:54 PM

Lol. Half of you will have it read before I even have a chance to open it.

*shakes head*

bev January 11, 2016 at 3:54 PM

Maryse did you see jean’s reaction to JR? ;-)

Theresa January 11, 2016 at 4:23 PM

Can I read Motorcycke Man as a standalone?

Stephanie January 11, 2016 at 4:27 PM

Theresa, you can read it as a standalone but since it’s the 4th in a series, it does reference characters and events from the previous 3 books. Plus, you meet Kane “Tack” Allen in the first book.

Stephanie January 11, 2016 at 4:30 PM

And also Theresa, you don’t want to miss out on meeting Hawk in Mystery Man, the first book of the series. So many hot alpha men so little time.

Tessa January 11, 2016 at 4:33 PM

Rachel Van Dyken’s Elite is on sale! Normally 4.99, now 99 cents. I loved the book so much, I have to tell you all in case you wanted to read it.

Anna, I just read the bathroom scene. I could not stop laughing. I had to put it down and walk away because I just kept laughing with each word. I needed a recovery moment.

Anne January 11, 2016 at 4:35 PM

Yes! I knew I was going to love this book and I was right! My first 5 star book of 2016 is The Score! God I love Dean! So cocky but sweet at the same time! And that ending! I am just saying I cant wait for The Goal to come out later this year :D This is one of the best NA series out there. I am on a happy cloud right now.

Anne January 11, 2016 at 4:38 PM

Tessa right?!? I couldn’t stop laughing! It was so hilarious and so Dean you know? I just freaking love this book!

Fabi January 11, 2016 at 4:46 PM

You guys are done reading it before I’m even halfway through work today. I’m so glad to hear such positive feedback. I can’t wait to get started on my copy. Elle Kennedy rocks!

Maryse, I’m totally with you on the date. I was for sure most of these weren’t coming out until tomorrow. Late last night I had to go double check Amazon because I was sure someone else was wrong. But no, it was me who was wrong. Go figure. *snort*

Grey January 11, 2016 at 4:47 PM

Just got home from work… The Score is mine! Ackkkk!! So excited! *throws pizza at my children and shuts my bedroom door*

Anne January 11, 2016 at 4:50 PM

Lol Grey!

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 4:52 PM

Stephanie I LOVE TACK!!!!

My favorite is Hawk (from Mystery Man), and Tate from Sweet Dreams. *sigh*

I’m SO glad you found us!!! *hug* :D

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 4:53 PM

Ohhh Anne and Tessa!! I LOVE “wait… whats?!!” YAY!!!

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 4:54 PM

I love the shinies this month, Theresa. What a way to start of the new reading year!

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 4:54 PM

bev I haven’t seen it… I’ll stalk her comments right now. :D

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 4:56 PM

Lol fabi!! I was so disoriented this morning. Excited… but so very very confused. :P

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 4:56 PM

LOL Grey!!!!!!! *snort*

Anne January 11, 2016 at 5:06 PM

Maryse The Score was so so so good!!! Its my favorite out of the 3 so far :D Dean is just so *sigh* And yes my “wait…what?!?” Is what I exactly said once I read that scene! Elle I freaking love you!!!

Maryse January 11, 2016 at 5:22 PM

LOL!!!! I LOVE hearing that!!! I loved The Deal the most, but I am SO game to love The Score even more.

Hey I rhymed!!! :D

Anne January 11, 2016 at 5:52 PM

Lol! I just loved it so much *blushes*

Guys! I was browsing GR and guess what’s coming out January 31st? Eidolon by Grace Draven!! I loved Radiance so much! I’ve been waiting for this book for so long and its finally here!!

Anne January 11, 2016 at 5:54 PM

Oh no :( Just read on Grace’s blog that it wont be coming out January 31st after all. So bummed!

Anne January 11, 2016 at 6:52 PM

I feel like reading The Siren. I haven’t read any of Tiffany’s books but I am kinda scared lol Don’t know why.

Grey January 11, 2016 at 7:10 PM

Oh Anne… Don’t be scared… *sets up the blankie fort, gets Anne a snack and a glass of wine…and Manny* oooh The Siren *twirl* I’m so excited!

On a sad note, I haven’t gotten to start The Score yet… All of my children are grounded! *pout*

Anne January 11, 2016 at 7:21 PM

Yes! Manny!! *grabs glass of wine from Grey* cause I just downloaded The Siren and starting tonight. I figured if its too much or I don’t like it I’ll just leave it and move on. But I could love it too so I am taking the plunge lol

Oh no!! I can’t wait for you to read The Score! Its soooo good! Dean is soooo *sigh*

Tessa January 11, 2016 at 7:23 PM

Rofl. What did the little ones do? Took little dude to Target because the movie he wanted was on sale and someone gave him a gift card for Christmas. :D He’s so happy right now.

I’m still only 63% in. LOVING it.

Cheryl January 11, 2016 at 7:31 PM

Just got home and squeeeee The Score is mine and then Aced and then For The First Time!!!! I am in reading heaven- now worries about what to read next! :)

Cheryl January 11, 2016 at 7:32 PM

Damn autocorrect *now* is no.

Sharon January 11, 2016 at 7:41 PM

The Score!!!!!!

Grey January 11, 2016 at 7:42 PM

Tessa… They’re brats! Just like their mother… I meant their father of cours,e because I’m not a brat (quiet Amy), sh*t…that came out wrong didn’t it? ;-) Nah, nothing crazy just practices and dinner rush, and now I’m trying to herd the littlest one toward an early bedtime with promises of an extra cuddle. *Dear God child, go to sleep so I can read for crying out loud!!!*

Oh Anne…I’m so excited, I want to read it with you!

Anne January 11, 2016 at 7:45 PM

Aww so happy for little dude Tessa!

Yaay Cheryl hop on the Dean bandwagon!

Anne January 11, 2016 at 7:47 PM

Lol Grey! I can feel your pain! I would be the same knowing Dean was waiting for me ;) Oh don’t worry I’ll be posting here like crazy cause if I freak out I’ll need your support (wine and the likes)

MichelleS January 11, 2016 at 7:54 PM

So first, I heard about David Bowie, and I wonder what Bev thinks (since you loved Labrynth, right???)…. This blog is creeping into my life…

Second… Slow down ya’ll. I’m just STARTING the Score. I feel like I’m so behind…

Fabi January 11, 2016 at 8:03 PM

No worries MichelleS. You’re still ahead of me. But I’m on my way home. :-)

Celeste January 11, 2016 at 8:06 PM

I loved The Score! I practically inhaled it! What I love about this series is that her characters don’t need to be doing anything huge or over the top for things to be interesting – they can have fun just sitting there watching TV. The dialogue is the best. Also… after the last few pages? I’m dying for Tucker’s story now.

Michelle January 11, 2016 at 8:16 PM

Well dang you guys now I have to read The Mistake tonight and The Score tomorrow (I have to read them in order but I know I could skip). You’ve derailed me but I’m excited to get to The Score now with those reactions!

DG January 11, 2016 at 8:28 PM

So many choices *sighs heavily*. Debating whether to slip in a KA fix or the Score….

Anne – Kulti is great. Got to love those strong silent types!

Maryse – I am right there with you – Tack and Tate and oh, oh! Sam too! (from Heaven and Hell)

bev January 11, 2016 at 8:56 PM

MichelleS, shocked. Sad for his family having to go down this road. Grief …..just cuts you off at the knees, you know?
I’m about to have dinner and then be starting.
So right there with you and Fabi.:-)

Its kinda weird. I have this group I’ve been talking to for ,man, couple years?!? And its so isolated from “real” life. Odd.

Anne January 11, 2016 at 9:16 PM

Celeste I know right?!? That ending!!! And I totally agree about them not having to do anything over the top to be interesting. The dialogues are one of the best I’ve read. Period.

Stephanie January 11, 2016 at 9:23 PM

Anne, loved loved loved The Siren. Actually, I loved it more after I finished the series. After I binged read the 8 book series, I went back re-read The Siren. That really helped because they’re a couple things that happen in book 1 that don’t get explained until later books.

Tessa January 12, 2016 at 12:24 AM

OMG, that was awesome. I adore Dean. I laughed so hard in some places. I finished it and loved it! Now, I have Dirt on the Ninth Grave to read. :D :D ;D *squees*

Theresa January 12, 2016 at 12:34 AM

New shinies!!

Lisa January 12, 2016 at 2:37 AM

The Score. Awesome. Dean is hilarious….love being in his stupid manwhore head.

Anne January 12, 2016 at 2:42 AM

Tessa so happy you loved The Score too! I just love Dean so much!

Lisa lol! I loved being inside his head too!

Ok so I am at 40% in The Siren and I am not feeling this book. I know many love it but I just can’t seem to get into it :/

bev January 12, 2016 at 9:17 AM

50% in. Will pick it back up when home again. Yes, the bath scene was hilarious.

Amy January 12, 2016 at 10:16 AM

Oh geez…I had been trying to read Missed Connection but just wasn’t feeling it, and I didn’t start anything new so that I could read either Unhinge or And Again (how unique does *that* one sound??), but all the love for The Score has me wanting to read it now. At least all three of them count as a 2016 read for me. ;)

Uhhhh…I know it sounds awful but I don’t remember Dean. In fact, I had to refresh my memory with the blurb from The Mistake because I couldn’t remember anything about it other than I really liked it (I LOVED The Deal though and remember more about that one).

Wait…wasn’t there a list in TM that he had to complete? And it included a naked picture on a chaise?

Theresa January 12, 2016 at 10:56 AM

Dean is the rich one total manwhore. Never much mentioned in the previous books

Theresa January 12, 2016 at 11:33 AM

Tessa, this is an intervention. You must read Karina Halle. The Dirty series is nor for everyone I agree but The Play , The Offer those are sooooo good

Amy January 12, 2016 at 12:23 PM

Thanks Theresa!

Nope Grey…none of us are brats around here. None. At. All. :P

Tessa January 12, 2016 at 1:56 PM

Theresa, erm, eventually? lol It’s not that I don’t want to, but for instance, I only read the first Experiment in Terror (which everyone says is the worst of the lot) and thought I’d continue there one day. I might do The Play instead though.

Loving Ninth so far. I want to yell at them, but I can’t. It’s anticipation at it’s finest. Still humor, of course, but knowing and her not knowing is true anticipation.

Theresa January 13, 2016 at 10:36 AM

Anybody read The End of Day? It’s on sale today for .99. Heard CH but the next book is out.

Theresa January 13, 2016 at 10:43 AM

Tessa, I did not read the Experiments in Terror- did not hit me. The Offer, The Play and the third were great romance nothing out in left field. All those were great. I did read the Dirty series, raw, intense, gruesome maybe for some – it’s Mexican Cartel so go from there.

Theresa January 13, 2016 at 10:51 AM

Marsye intervention for Tessa before she thoughs her life away not reading Karina Halle!

Theresa January 13, 2016 at 10:52 AM

Does anyone know when Harper Sloan is coming out with new book? I hate it when authors don’t update. Wrote note on FB no answer

Maryse January 15, 2016 at 11:27 AM

TESSA!!!!! Must read Karina Halle. MUST MUST MUST!
