Reader Question – The cowboy book where the the mom was thrown from the horse and suffered an injury.

Happy Reader Question day! This time, I don’t think we have to play “guess the book” because it appears it may have been guessed correctly, but for those in the mood of a super-steamy cowboy series, this one is INCREDIBLY popular. And… if you have a different guess, feel free to post it. 🙂

“there was a series I saw on your page once about a series on cowboys and each book was about brothers/sisters/parents. I read a sample of one I think and it started with the mom was thrown from the horse and suffered an injury. There were a lot of books in this series but I don’t recall what it was called or who wrote it. Do you remember or know? thank you for any help you have.”

Rita: Rough Riders Series by Lorelei James… In the Rough Riders series, book #16 (yes, book #16) the matriarch, Carol McKay is thrown from a horse. The whole book revolves around her husband at her bedside as she is in a coma, and he thinks back to how they began as a couple. The book is called Cowboy Take Me Away.
