Really need your help in finding the name of the book or the author.
So here it goes, it is a forced arranged marriage the hero does not want and neglects and ignores his wife and he goes back to his old life before marriage and cheats on her with women while the heroine is left in the countryside and having fed up she goes back to him for revenge after years and meets him in a ball (which is a masquerade ball I think).
Over there the hero doesn’t recognize her and instead desires her without knowing who she is.
It is a hero grovelling book I think.
I hope this is enough to pinpoint the book or the author. Thank you and please help TT
