Wendy needs our book help! Ohhhhh paranormal drama, and I think we’ve had this question before, so I’ll post it, and backtrack to see if I can it. 🙂

I’m trying to find a book with this plot:
He is forced to protect her but he doesn’t like her, he thinks she spoilt.
There’s sexual attraction between the two but when he has the opportunity to mate with her, during a ceremony under the moonlight, he rejects her.

Another alpha is there and so she mates with him.
When it’s time for them to leave to his town she ends up sleeping with her reluctant protector. This leaves his scent on her and now her mate is made fun of by his father, who tries to make her his mate.

Wendy: I read it sometime between 2014-2015 and this book didn’t come out until 2018 🙁 that book does seem good though!

Rae: Just finished Clayton and this scenario doesn’t happen in the book. Loved the rejected mate situation though. It finishes with Dallas.
