Tracy needs our book help! Ohhhh bad boys, and police officers (could this end up being a love triangle)?? *rubs hands together with glee*
Longtime follower first time interacting 🙂 I have been searching for this book for a couple weeks.
Think this book was only from the last couple of years. The story takes place partly in her last year of high school and her parents die in a car accident the same time her boyfriend (or almost boyfriend) gets in a fight with his abusive father and the father dies. The boyfriend also had a friend in a motorcycle club who helps him out so he doesn’t go to jail. Boyfriend then disappears to become part of the motorcycle club.
Then the story skips forward a few years and she is starting over in a new town post college. There is a new love interest who at first they don’t like each other. He might be a sheriff??? She is also renovating a house out in the woods and has a dog. There is a mystery element since someone is after the heroine because they think she knows something about boyfriend fathers death. And high school boyfriend has been watching her from afar and he also ended up being the leader of the MC.
I feel like this book isn’t older than 2-3 years but my sense of time is so warped with covid.
Anyone have a guess?
Jessa: I actually know this one it’s Letting Go by L.A. Fiore. Childhood friend who fall in love, Cedar and Brock. Brocks family life is not a good one and has issues with his dad and the father dies. Brock runs because of it and cedars parents die the same day, and is left alone. Time jump like the original poster stated and moves to small town in Wyoming and meets Killian, who is the sheriff. Hope this helps.
Tracy: Yes this is it!! I have no clue how I read this book but it’s not under my kindle purchased books or showing up as a book I borrowed from kindle unlimited 🧐 I had gone through them both multiple times. I do remember thinking the cover of the book wasn’t a good fit for the story. Anyway thank you!
Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved. Thank you so much Jessa!!! 😀
