Reader Question – The book about the bartender that helps her out by being her date to a wedding…

Mony is looking for this book. She’s one of our very active fellow readers in our book crew here, and she is always giving us her favorite book recommendations, so I’m thrilled that maybe we can help her out. 🙂

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

I’m looking for a book and need help! 🙂

It’s a romantic comedy.

The h has not been able to find a date for an upcoming wedding. I think it may be an issue because she has a history with the marrying couple.

She is in a bar talking to her friends about her problem, and the bartender says he could do that for her. He’s very good-looking and a nice guy. As they plan their date, she finds he’s even more considerate than she anticipated.

When they get to the wedding, he’s polished and out-going. Her family loves him and invites him to a family dinner, causing her to freak out.

It’s not Too Good to Be True by Kristin Higgins… but it’s along those lines.
