Rei is looking for this one! Groveling Hero alert!!! It’s short and sweet but definitely a “catnip” trope. 😉
She asks:
In a reading app, I don’t know which one, there’s a story about a woman who learns she has a limited amount of time left so she asks her husband to be a real one to her since he seems to hate her, but he falls for her and wants her back, but he doesn’t know she’s sick.

What I remember of it, it was a tumor in her uterus or something that happened because he kept being intimate with her after her abortion/miscarriage. They were already married, but after that happened, he wanted a divorce, which they ultimately did, but then he came to find her.
Turns out she thought he was a guy that she knew as a young girl, named Taoran Gold, and he played the piano, but it happens as you read, that Taoran has a twin brother, Rook or something, who was the man that played the piano (used to call her ‘little girl’) after she played the song that the twin played, he went to the class she was teaching after their divorce and he asked her about the song, she didn’t reply, and he wanted to get re-married.
Anyone have a guess?
Lesley: Could it be A D Justice – Saving Grace?
Terena: That’s what I thought too! He didn’t hate her, but he thought the grass was greener on the other side.
Max: Hmmm, made me think about Noelle Adams’ Listed, released as one story but in small increments. Heroin is sick, marries the son of the person responsible for her sickness. Either way you will like this one too if that’s not it.
Rei: It wasn’t from a known book site like Amazon or anything like that. It was from one of those apps like dreame or any story, and bravonovel but a less known one, I think. I think the title has something to do with the man’s name like ‘something, something, Mr. Gold’
