Ellen needs our book help. I’ve read a few books about male escorts, but they had a more fun, and contemporary romance feel to them, and this one definitely sounds darker.
I DID read one that I LOVED and he was homeless (in fact, here’s my Book Review of Finding Home), but nobody was forcing her to do anything so I know that’s not the one.
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I need help finding the name of a book i read i only can remember bits and pieces of it.
I can remember the hero is a gigolo but doesn’t want to be. A man makes him do it I think the hero was maybe homeless. The man also makes the heroine do things as well.
I think either her or her family owes him money, the Hero meets the woman as a young girl in passing and then again a few years later when the Bad man makes them do a scene together in front of people,
thats all i can really remember hope someone recognizes it.
Thank you so much
Ellen xx
Anyone have a guess?
Lisa: A Boy called L and Lightning Boy by Amy J Heart. (SIDENOTE from Maryse: This book has been retitled to: Loving L: A Dark Romance (Damaged Souls Golden Hearts Book 2). The author says:
Previously titled Lightning Boy, Loving L is a full-length self-contained novel with a HEA.
Book 1, Finding E, tells the tale of L’s last night of homelessness and his first soul-shaking sight of Eden. It doesn’t need to be read first but does give some extra-juicy background that some may find helpful.
Ellen: This is it!! Thankyou so much
Maryse: YAY!!! That was quick, and this series sounds pretty great!! And dark and tumultuous. Thank you Lisa! 😀
