Katie has a sparse description, but there are a FEW details that might be exactly what sparks your memory.

She asks:

I need help. I’m looking for a book that you mentioned before about a woman who marries and her husband turns out to be really terrible.

I remember it wasn’t that long ago you posted about it. A girl who marries a guy and he seems so nice but he’s a monster after they marry. I’m not much help

Can you remember the name? I should have just bought it when I saw it. :P

Welllllll…. since I’m a sucker for posting (and wanting to READ) this trope, it could be ANY of ‘em that I’ve posted lately. Makes me think maybe Skye Warren? But I don’t remember marriage in her latest blurbs…

Anyone want to venture a guess? If worse comes to worse, we end up making a list of similar genres, and well, that just sounds AWESOME!! :)

Linda: Behind Closed Doors: A Novel by B.A. Paris? Really good!!

Maryse: YESSSS!!! I bet that’s the one! I read this and loved it! GAH!! See? This IS my trope. LOL!! P.S. Here’s my 4.5 star review.

Carol: Is it The Unwanted Wife (The Unwanted Series Book 1). Natasha Anders. i wonder

Maryse: I read this one TOO!!!

Katie: Thank you so much. I think it may be the one you posted (Behind Closed Doors: A Novel). I bought it last night. Sounds so good. I’m reading Kulti right now and loving it.

Maryse: YAYYYYY!!! Another one solved. :) I love these creepy-scary books.

Jen C: Just wanted to add (in case a list is made) Translucent (Luminous Book 1) (and sequel) by Erin Noelle – similar sort of trope. After marriage, husband reveals his true monster side.
