Cheny is looking for this one! Ooooooooh a good grovel book!!!!! YES PLEASE!
She asks:
Hi Maryse!
I’ve been trying to search for this book for a year now and no luck! I’m hoping someone here can help!
Read this book about 3 years ago maybe.
It was about the hero and heroine being a couple during their high school or college years I believe. They broke up due to the Hero cheating on the heroine with the OW in a truck after a party since the heroine was holding out.
Fast forward a few years and the heroine returns to the small town (country setting I believe). The hero grovels for a long time for her. What stands out are ice tea and pie, not sure why!
Thank you so much!
Anyone have a guess?
Mallory: Sounds like Forgiving Reed by CA Harms
Harper: It sounds like The Player Next Door by K. A. Tucker, but I don’t remember ice tea and pie and it’s a small town, but not country.
Maryse: OMG YOU KNOW WHAT? I suddenly had that flashback from that awesome book (I LOVED it!!), and I’m thinking the same thing suddenly. But I don’t remember ice tea and pie either so maybe not. But YES! This.
Rebecca: Sounds like Tempt Me Tonight by Toni Blake
Cheny: Hi Maryse! Oooh it’s Tempt Me Tonight by Toni Blake! Thanks so much Maryse!!
Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved. Thanks to all who submitted guesses and big thanks to Rebecca who had the correct guess. 😀
