Alex is looking for this book. I was reading this question (liking the idea of a heroine overcoming panic attacks) and then… tee hee!!! I came across the “comfort object” in Alex’s question and totally snorted at the matter-of-fact way she put it. 😉
Let’s just say I have a feeling this one is steamy…
She asks:
The book was either a contemporary or a billionaire romance.
The heroine of the book is homeless and suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. The hero of the book takes her in. I believe he owns his own company and his best friend works for him and his best friend both own the company.
The heroine grows attached to the hero to the point of getting separation anxiety any time he leaves. Finds comfort in the hero’s c**k.
It was around 2010-2012 that I read it.
Do you think you could help me?
Anyone have a guess?
Marla: Could it be Three Two One by JA Huss?
Alex: It is not a MMF book. I know I mention that the best friend, but it was meant to be in reference to the hero. I am sorry.
Though that looks like a good book. I just may have to read it!😉

Maryse: Ooooh I LOVED that book! Here’s my 4.5 star review. But I think she already lives in an apartment that she won’t leave due to her agoraphobia, but then she goes to a nightclub with her friends (though she wants to cancel badly).
Anna: Could it be Keeping Denver? She’s homeless and has a lot of panic attacks / issues due to not being able to eat. She gets a job as an admin and he takes over her life. Then, he messes up and she leaves him to go work for the best friend.

Maryse: I LOVED this one!! Here's my 4.5 STAR review.
...she didn't foresee losing everything, becoming homeless, sleeping in shelters, and sometimes on the cold city streets of New York. One day, her luck turns.
