I am trying to recall a book (think it’s the first in a series) and could use some help!
The heroine has a skin disorder call XP – xeroderma pigmentosum which is rare and doesn’t allow her to go out in the sun. She works at home and runs alone at night in the woods.
She catches the attention of the hero who leads/is part of a group who are either genetically enhanced or shifters (I can’t remember which!) and romantic suspenseful drama ensues.
Any help is appreciated as it’s driving me a bit crazy – thanks!
