I’m back again hoping some new people will look at the post and help with a book I’ve been looking for so long!
The details that I remember-
The heroine’s name could be Echo though I’m not completely sure.
The h lives with her father and stepmother who physically abuse her. She is bullied in school because of the clothes she wears and her timid nature. The bullying at the school gets bad. The H who goes to the same school also says mean things to her like ‘Why does she even bother living and she should die’ something along this line.

It becomes too much for the h to handle so decides to commit suicide but H sees her and the h tells him about her family life and the H feels very guilty. The H saves the h from the suicide attempt. The h is then admitted to the hospital where her father and stepmother lie about her injuries saying that those are self inflicted.

They then try to kill her but some nurse I think catches them at the right time and then they are jailed.
I think after this there is a time leap and we see H in college. The H is a part of anti-bullying initiative in college because of what happened with the h and the guilt he feels. He sees the h in his college and then they become friends and later start dating each other.
This book is not Reason To Breathe, Heart on a Chain, Scars of my Past or Pushing the Limits

Filthy, Rich Boys her father is okay and that’s a back story with the ex-boyfriend. I’m gonna keep an eye on this because BOY DO I WANT TO READ IT! 🙂
