What’s even more fun, is that we have two kinds of lists requested (books “geared” for boys, and also of course, for girls). So I’ve tried to separate them a bit here, to make it easier to focus on what you’re looking for, but in the grand scheme of things, it ends up all mixed together below since we can all read them and enjoy them.
I’ve been looking for a book I started but never got to finish.
Its a YA romance book where the male lead is ostracized because his father comes out as transgender.
The female lead is part/or fully Native American who lives in her grandmother’s trailer after she passes away. Her father is alcoholic.
Both are bullied and its dual POV.
I really liked the premise and with your help I hope I can get to finish.
Bec has a new question for us! I have no clue for this one, but I’m dying to know the tragic even spoiler, though I won’t ask. I might wanna read this one! A few detailed scenes here that will hopefully spark your memory.
I need your help again. I posted in another group and no luck.
After a tragic event the h (teenager maybe 16 or 17 I think) is sent away to a family friend (I think) who live on a farm. At first she’s sent to do laundry because she dresses sexy Goth like.
Ibi is looking for this one! Short and sweet and the description makes the title too! 😉
I need your help finding a book.
It’s a high school book about a girl and her mother living with her mother’s friend who has a troubled son.
Anyone have a guess? Let’s make a list!
Have a reader question for us to solve? Send it to me here.

Amber had a reader question about a book series that had possibly been turned into a movie. And I was able to find it! 🙂
I feel like I may be 3 years behind but I just watched Fallen on Netflix.
I pretty sure it’s based off of Lauren Kate’s Fallen series. Am I right?! Or crazy!
Either way I was excited to watch it!!
Maryse: Hi Amber!! I THINK SO yes!!! 🙂 I can’t find it on Netflix, but I did find it on Amazon Prime, and if it’s THIS one you’re referring to, then the author blogged about it on her website a few years ago. 🙂 http://laurenkatebooks.net/
