Reader Question – The book about the high-schoolers with an accidental pregnancy that planned to get married, until her mom gave her baby away!!!

Bewaji needs our book help! Ooooooh romance angst and something that would make me furious!! I feel like I’ve read this one (especially the last part too),  or something similar ’cause I felt that shock before.

Or maybe it’s when I experienced a “someone’s mom gave away my loved one – my cat!!” one time. This is my true story from back when I was in college. I was staying at my boyfriend’s parents house for a week (I think it had to do with something about my apartment being fixed or painted), and I brought my new cat that my cousin had just given me (which they allowed). My cousin worked for a vet and it was abandoned or given to them, and I was so happy to take her.

Then, the final weekend I was there, while he and I were out, she gave my cat away!!!!! TO HER SISTER. I freaked out and demanded she get it back for me, but according to her, I was too young and too busy to have pets, and her sister was already home which was 3 hours away, and her sister fell in love with my cat. I freaked out, crying and couldn’t understand what had happened. What a setup!!!

My boyfriend told me I was overreacting (any emotions to him was overreacting, come to think of it), we broke up soon after, and that was the end of that. I still can’t believe the gall, and I still wonder how come I let her get away with it. I think it was the gaslighting about how I was too young and immature to have pets and how I was being silly when she did good for the cat by giving her to a responsible adult. Grrrrrr! I was in college and had my own apartment and a job for crying out loud, I obviously could handle myself, but… I just gave up, and never spoke to them again.

Er… oooops, sorry. I got side-tracked. And I’m angry all over again! 😤 LOL!!!! 😂 Okay so….

It’s about two high schoolers, lovers, accidental pregnancy, and they agreed to keep the baby, get married etc etc.

The girl’s parents (or mother), gave the baby up for adoption unknown to the two lovers. The boy was heartbroken, left that same day for maybe twenty something years.
