Rene is looking for this book! Ohhhh interesting! A bit of jealousy between the two main characters, other relationships in the mix, and the two main characters are also neighbors that seem to can’t stand each other. I LOVE THAT!
It almost sounds like an awesome book I loved by K.A. Tucker called The Player Next Door: A NovelΒ (P.S. Here’s my 4.5 STAR review). A few details don’t quite match, but quite a few do, so even if it isn’t then, everyone should read it! π
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I cannot remember the name of this book!
H is interested in h and moves in next door. h is resistant to H (I cannot recall if they were together in the past or not, but she will not give him the time of day) and h has a long term hookup and they are not serious. That OM runs a bar/club. H is really jealous of h and OM.
H meets an OW who has left an abusive marriage and while he is interested in h he hooks up with OW and it is meant to be just as friends. h sees the H with the OW at a club and is very jealous as well. She is upset when she finds out H and OW have been together. H and OW are not in relationship and I don’t think there was technically any cheating in the book.
h and OW actually become friends, and eventually h and H end up together. A subsequent book has the OM and the OW as the H and h.
Any help would be appreciated!
