Sherry needs our book help! Oh I LOVE this trope. Well of course, the whole famous person with a “regular person” but especially the whole “accidental contacting” with a stranger… which turns into so much more. YAY!! I’m dying to know this one too!
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I have found many fabulous books from your reviews and recommendations over the years. I often refer to you in the mood for lists and your what to read after to find add to my tbr list. So, thank you for this sight.
I just finished reading Sweeper by Amy Daws and I got to thinking about a book a read a while ago about a group of rugby players or maybe soccer players who FaceTime or Skype with a woman they thought was an old friend of theirs. They shared the same name.
She becomes friends with one of them and the video chat back and forth. She doesn’t realize he’s famous until friends tell her. She may have been in college.
Any thoughts on what the book is? It’s going to drive me insane until I figure it out.
Thanks,
Sherry
Hi Sherry! Thank you so much for your sweet comments about the blog. You just made my day. It makes me happy that we are all so connected via our books. This blog is my happy place, and I’m thrilled it can be one of yours, too. 🙂
Now onto the guesses…
Anyone have a guess?
Lori: No clue, but there’s the one with the sportsball guy who texts his dead wife’s phone and the number is reassigned to a girl who responds.
Sherry: Found it! It’s Bedhead by Kayt Miller.
Olivia: I believe you are thinking about Bedhead by Kayt Miller…
Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved!!! 😀 Thanks everyone. This one sounds like so much fun… especially after I read that blurb.
