Colleen is in search of a book!! And I think I’m DARN SURE of the answer even though she suspects it’s not one of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, but I beg to differ. 😉 If you ask me? This has GOT to be Vishous (V) from the BDB.
That said… I’m still posting this in case there is ANOTHER book out there with a similar character and premise. Maybe we can get more suggestions! For example… I do also wonder perhaps about Joey W. Hill’s BDSM Vampire Queen series.
I love your blog, I too am an avid reader and have read a lot of your suggestions, Kristen Ashley is one of my fav’s!
Weird question for you – I read a series a few years ago, vampire/paranormal, and I know it is still in my collection somewhere but I can’t find it. I thought it was one of the BDB but it is not. Basic storyline is a vamp who lives in a highrise condo, meets his “mate” of course, but he has a tortured past, needs to be tortured etc for his pleasure – he has a special room in his condo setup, whips, gags, masks the whole thing. For the life of me I can’t figure out what series this is in – does this trigger anything for you? He reminds me of Zhadist from BDB but he is really dark….
anyhoo, if you can help me out that would be awesome!
thanks in advance,
What do y’all think? Is this Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 5) (V’s book)?
Sidenote… I’ll never forget in Rehv’s book (Lover Avenged (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 7), when his potential mate mistakes his condo for V’s condo. Tee hee! What a shock she walked into. *snort* THAT scene made me fall in love with Rehv HARD. And V. I always loved V. But my favorite is Z. And HIS book (Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 3). Forever and ever. And in vampire years, that’s a LONG time. 😉
YAY!!!! UPDATE!!! Colleen replied!!
“You are so right, just started re-reading BDB and got into V’s story and Lo! It’s him :).
Thanks so much for replying to me, I really enjoy your site, so many books so little time! I read several books a week and people think I’m crazy, but a well written book is sooo much better than the crap on TV.
