I know I’ll be kicking myself when someone guesses this right, like I should have known (*sigh* after so many books, titles elude me, but stories… I remember). And this one I loved!
I feel like this is an Aly Martinez book, or Mariana Zapata (at least… it has *that* feel, you know what I mean?) It is on the TIP of my tongue. I KNOW IT. Jewel E. Ann? I dunno. HELP US!
I’m a long-time lurker lol I’ve been following your blog for years now and it’s really given me some good suggestions. Thanks (:
A month or two ago I think I came across a book that was a new release. I started to read it but I don’t know what happened to it.
The book was about a recent widow raising her son and daughter alone. A guy moves in the house next door. One morning her son tells her that her daughter, without her knowledge, went over to swim in the neighbor’s pool and she’s irritated with him for leaving his gate open. And she can’t get her daughter out of the pool so he gives the daughter a pop tart. Lol
That’s all I really remember because I was at the very beginning of reading it.
Sorry if this is hard to read her all over the place.
Anyone have a guess? PLEASE!!! LOL! 😛
Maryse: EXACTLY!!!!!!! YESSSS I KNEW IT WAS ONE OF MY FABULOUS FAVORITE AUTHORS AND YES I’M SCREAMING (I’m delighted!!) LOL!!!! 😛 In fact, here’s my 5-STAR REVIEW.
