Niki needs our book help! Thank goodness she’s got a lot of detail just from what she saw on Facebook, so hopefully someone here recognizes it.
She asks:
Maryse, this will be a tough one.
I clicked on a book blurb on my Facebook feed, and was going to one click it, but had a phone call. Went back to Facebook and couldnβt find the book.
In the blurb the hero hears a terrible shrieking sound and it was his son, who was laughing. This was huge, because the son hadnβt spoken or smiled. I got the impression he was possibly on the spectrum. The little boy was looking at a woman dressed in a tutu and moving her hands. The little boy was responding to her movements with his own.
The hero looked at his mother and they realized the son had been trying to communicate with them via his hand movements, but this woman in the tutu had communicated with him.
Thank you for any help. I love your blog and you have helped me find some amazing books!
Anyone have a guess?
