If I remember correctly it’s a bully college romance, the girl and the boy know each other from their home town.
She moves into a house/dorm but her housemates don’t like her and the girl she rents the room from didn’t tell her friend she was going to rent out her room.

I clicked on a book blurb on my Facebook feed, and was going to one click it, but had a phone call. Went back to Facebook and couldn’t find the book.
In the blurb the hero hears a terrible shrieking sound and it was his son, who was laughing. This was huge, because the son hadn’t spoken or smiled. I got the impression he was possibly on the spectrum. The little boy was looking at a woman dressed in a tutu and moving her hands. The little boy was responding to her movements with his own.
P.S. It looks like each book is about a different couple, so I’m assuming they can be read as standalones.
