Reader Question – The book where she hits him with her flying engagement ring…

Oh lookie! A book question from author, “Poppet” (and I know her work, ’cause I read her intense, super-sexy and kind of scary paranormal book “Seithe” last year). But alas, the one she’s inquiring about doesn’t sound paranormal at all. Unless you consider “fate” to be paranormal…

It sounds awesome and sweet and I gotta know what it is. But I don’t. Do you?

Hi Maryse!

There’s a book I want to get but I have no clue what the title is, or who wrote it. I came across it a few months ago while idly paging through Amazon. I did the ‘look inside’ and loved it, but can’t find where I wrote the info down.

It’s a romantic comedy, it starts with a lady giving up on love, getting recklessly drunk with her girlfriends, and chucking her engagement ring into the night (only for it to hit her future love interest). She decides she’s giving up on love, now she’s just in it for the hot and gritty.

Any clue which novel this is?
