Michelle is looking for this second chance romance book involving illness. Ohhhhhhhh, reading her sweet description already hurts my heart!!

She asks:

I need help finding a book that starts off where the boyfriend throws the love of his life a romantic dinner for two.  I think they are teenagers getting ready for college (or ?) and then she breaks his heart after they are intimate by saying she is leaving.

She has cancer and wants to battle it on her own.

When she comes back to town years later and tries to mend things with him, he is still angry/devasted/hates her.

The book came out a few years ago.

Thanks Maryse!!!

I wanna know too!!! :D Anyone have a guess?
