I read a book a while ago and it stayed with me.
I believe the FMC was a doctor and the MMC was a business man. They run back in to each other and resist falling in love but it inevitably happens. I think the FMC was close to her parents (and possibly sister who engineer a meet) and I think I remember a scene in a swanky club/party where she is drunk, her current bf mistreats her and MMC rescues her.
I loved the book but can’t find it again even after scanning my kindle!
