Monica is looking for this one, and this is her second try, ’cause it seems the first time she asked, we weren’t able to guess it. So hopefully this one will find it. 😀
Here was her question the first time around.
She asks:
I had sent an email to find this books name few years ago but it was a lost cause. So here i am trying yet again. 🤞
So, I don’t remember much details as I had read this book i think 6 or 7 years ago.
But what i remember is the opening scene or one of the very first scene was in cafe or coffe shop. The FC works in a cafe and the MC, i guess just drops by to get the coffee and he’s instantly drawn to her but it didn’t go further then that.
Then i think the MC’s brother somehow helps the FC to get job as a graphic designer in his and his brother’s company? And then the love story starts from there. The MC is quite possessive. Also the FC is widow and has a child as well.
This is as far as i can remember.
Anyone have a guess?
Lauren: Jealous Alpha by Jordan Silver sounds almost exactly like this, only she didn’t work in the cafe when they met, but they met in a coffee shop. Everything else happens the same as you described
SHE'S ALOOF TO HIM & HE'S DRAWN TO HER & JEALOUS OF HER DEAD HUSBAND...
"...I’ve never harbored jealousy or envy against anyone in my life, I never had to. I was born with everything I could possibly need and from then until now had never wanted for anything. Whatever I wanted I took.
And then there’s Gia, my woman. I’ve taken her but the love she once bore her dead husband still haunts me. I won’t stop until I’ve erased him from her memory no matter what it takes..."
