Reader Question – The book where she’s a designer student and she snubs the hero at a party thinking he is poor…

Ohhh fun! Preconceived notions might teach this female student a lesson in life… and love! How little does she know when she rebuffs “poor & nerdy” boy. 😉 I’m pretty sure I haven’t read this series, so I’m unable to answer, however maybe someone here knows?

I’ve searched high and low and just can’t seem to find this book. I’m after the 3rd book which is part of a series. I remember more of the 2nd book. She’s a designer student and she snubs the hero at a party thinking he is poor and also too much of a nerd when he asks her out. Her best friend’s boyfriend hooks her up with one of his mates, but she ends up not being interested.

She comes from a poor family and tries to avoid dating poor guys as a rule. Unbeknownst to her, the nerdy guy actually comes from a rich family and he has a little sister of whom he is very protective. He also doesn’t use his real last name to hide his affluent background. His family funds her Dept at Uni/ College and he becomes the chairman of the committee to oversee the spending of the funds. He ends up accompanying her to a Home for the poor where she decides to design clothing for the under privileged kids as part of her assignment in using the Funding. She also discovers that a childhood picture of her hangs on the wall at this Home/Shelter for the poor. They try to fight their attraction to each other, but in the end they are falling for each other.
