Everything pretty much matches up except for the cafe, and her neighbor is friendly (it’s her who is not so friendly to him) and he’s a firefighter. Everything else is spot on. 😉

The h was bullied in high school and ended up running away. She returned, years later, when her grandmother (not sure) passed and left a house, cafe and recipes.
