Okay this one I brought to our Facebook crew last week, and while we’ve had some guesses and some interest, I’m not sure if it’s been guessed correctly yet, so I’m bringing it to you in case you have more suggestions for me to add-on.
Skyla needs our book help!! Maybe someone knows it? She asks:
“Okay, Maryse, I’m not sure if I’m mixing the book story in this one with another because it’s been so long since I’ve read it or imagined it out cause of so many similar I’ve read before.
Anyway, this is four or five years back ??? Maybe more ??? (eeeekkkk..I know, I’m so sorry to do this to you)… But I really want to read it again, I’ve looked everywhere for it, can’t find it. It’s a Harlequin that’s for sure (I remember, cause I went through this crazy Harlequin faze.. haha.. Subscription and everything).
The beginning days the H/h is married already. It starts off with her waking up in a hospital room with amnesia after a car accident, her husband is by her side but angry with her. She doesn’t remember him and after learning he’s her hubby, doesn’t understand why he’s mad at her..
Somewhere along the way, she learns that she was in that car accident with another man, a friend, I think, ex- boyfriend, (???) that the H didn’t like very much. There was also a sister-n-law that didn’t like her and tried to split them up.
That’s all I could remember. PLEASE HELP!!!??? & BIG THANK YOU!!!”
Sofia: It sounds a lot like Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella (not Harlequin, though).
Heidi: Noooo. I don’t think it’s Remember Me?… I’ve read it… Let me look.
Jennifer: It is definitely a harlequin presents but I think it is older than 5 years I remember the book but not the name or author
Heidi: Winter’s Edge is Harlequin.
Lanie: Underestimated by Jettie Woodruff?? Sort of sounds the same
Elle: I think it’s Changing Course (Wrecked and Ruined) by Aly Martinez
Jen: Here’s one that came to mind with that story line…only I don’t think it was a Harlequin…Wait for Me…Elizabeth Naughton.
Cindy: I got this. As in I’ve got this on my bookshelf. It’s an Anne Stuart novel called Winter’s Edge. Oldie and a goodie.
Kiki: Hi..I think it’s The Melendez Forgotten Marriage by Melanie Milburne.
Denise: Was it “Burying Water” by K. A. Tucker?
Skyla: Thank you Maryse. Thank you Heidi and Cindy. It does sound like Winter’s Edge too. I don’t really remember much about the H just that he’s very aloof toward the H because of her having supposedly running away from him with another man or something like that. I do have this on my ebook shelf though so we’ll see 🙂 🙂 🙂 Haven’t read it in awhile.
Hay: Bonjour, je crois que c’est ce livre que vous recherchez : Margot Dalton “Une femme sans passé”. (Another Woman by Margot Dalton)
